Bluebijou

🍇This perfume is absolutely enchanting. When I first melted I thought it had too much of a Sharp smell to it but that was in the summer now that the I just sprayed it on my wrist and oh my gosh it is most 💜Lush blueberry fragrance that I have ever smelled and it's perfect for this time of year around 🖤Halloween because it's absolutely bewitching it is a witchy mysterious kind of a little cloying in the best way possible if the color of this perfume could be a color it would be midnight 💙💙💙blue when the sky is hazy with all the colors of blue and indigo if this fragrance was a song it would be Season of the Witch🎃 sung by Lana Del Rey it is so Lush and delicious that I cannot stop smelling my wrists. It reminds me a little bit of casheral yes I am with the purple lipstick cap. It is so b e r r y good a mysterious that I can imagine Stevie Nicks wearing. This perfume is an absolute Masterpiece I am happy that I was able to find this perfume. I I do detect a very sweetness to it but it's not overdone there is something in this that balances out absolutely perfectly it's so harmonious it's so magical that I keep getting these whiffs of different smells I've never encountered that before in a my goodness it is just deliciously bewildering. This could easily be a signature scent for me that's how much I love it. And to think at first I didn't really care for it and now I absolutely adore it it's just mind boggling to me. The color of the juice also got a little bit darker I can't imagine not having this in my collection. I also wanted to add that The Violet in this perfume makes it smell a little bit lipsticky. And may I add I love the name of this cute and adorable

WOW! This rocks for A Gourmand scent! I received a few PC samples and all blew me away for quality. I found them all very smoothly blended having to really put nose to skin to break down the notes - this is no exception. It has a fresh sharp bright Blueberry note and after 15 minutes the cognac - just enough (though discreet) starts to grab you a bit. As it softens I detect maybe a bit of Oud and Tobacco though it seem to flitter and fleet a bit. The other notes maybe there but I think they are complimentary to round it off subtly. Overall it reminded my of Hubba Bubba Bubba Grape gum from my childhood. It sounds kinda off putting but it has a depth that reeks of natural oils and is JUST the right level of sweetness and tartness that stops it from being a JUST ladies (or young girls scent for that matter). A little on the dark side if you like. I don't like gourmands as a rule and out of hundreds only this and Choc Man mint from AlysonOldioni do it so well I am happy to step out of my comfort zone. More a personal scent as it has 4-8 hour longevity and silage is not awesome but I find it an exciting enough scent that my friends would say "wow - not like you Andrew but it smells amazing". Who would have thought!? Happy Smelling

My second try from the new Piotr Czarnecki trio, Bluebijou, is a fairly unique blueberry mostly-gourmand fragrance. It opens with a sharp, semi-green hint of violet leaf, coupled with blueberry, before the violet quickly fades and gives way to the more gourmand concoction of the still-dominant blueberry along with cacao, coffee, and cognac, along with a fairly agreeable dry down of amber and woods. I don't detect oud specifically in this dry down, though it is a listed note. Its performance is strong, certainly worthy of its pricing ($175 for 100ml on Luckyscent, the exclusive source in the US). Bluebijou is certainly a bit more unique than Venom of Angel, as blueberry is a more unique featured note than coconut, but Venom of Angel, Bluebijou ends up in a sweet spot that is, in the scheme of gourmands, pretty agreeable. Overall, I'm a big fan of this one and imagine it'll be full-bottle-worthy for me as a neat, sweet, blueberry gourmand option. 8 out of 10

A totally delish scent. It opens with natural tart juicy, slightly alcoholic blueberries backed with dark chocolate. Gradually that juiciness eases off and the truffle comes through with violet and violet leaf. They prevent the scent becoming a truly gourmand creation. The perfect balance. I think I can see why some see a teeny similarity with Enchanted Forest which I also own. This has more warmth and sweetness so I'd love to own both. For most of the Bluebijou timeline I get slightly tart blueberries sweetened a little with chocolate along with the dry earthiness of truffle and a little kick from the violet leaf. The tobacco is way at the back and could be easy to miss. If you love gourmands then do try this. I get good longevity and sillage in a warm room. One to wear in cool conditions. Love it! I'm turning into a big fan of Piotrs. I look forward to his next creations.

IMO this is a masterpiece! Such a addicting concoction of blueberries and dark chocolate. I find myself constantly putting my hand up to my nose to smell it. I love it! As it reaches the dry down I can smell the nuances of a boozy cognac accord and tobacco. I'd say it leans more masculine but anyone can pull this off. Performance isn't the best but good enough to get you through 5-6 hours. This wasn't available for the longest time however I just saw that Luckyscent has it back in stock. I just pulled the trigger as my 10ml decant is getting low. If you like fruity gourmands this is definitely worth at least a sample.

Gorgeous. Violets and blueberries and dark Halloween magic. Vampires wear this stuff. Sapphire potion water, a hint of smoke, a toast of witch booze. Sugared black currants and leather and spruce, a soft animalic purr. Bitter chocolate tempers the sweetness and brings out the violet leaf. Ends with a short puff of bourbon pipe tobacco and clean velvet musk, but clings to clothes all night long,

This fragrance is so enticing to the senses ' imagine walking through a supermarket with luscious blueberry basket's and the aroma of a chocolatier vendor next to it selling chocolate and warm enticing flavors of other aromas from the market hitting you at the same time not far there is a cognac liquor candy store .. Luscious and warm and yummy at best.

Just got and wowza! Smells like a niche version of Bleeker street! Smells exactly like the note break down, very natural and awesome smelling. Bravo and so great to smell something out of the ordinary eh?

The opening is stunning, very realistic blueberry, chocolate and violet accords. The blueberry is super intensive and juicy, making the fragrance feel delicate and sweet. The dry down is more earthy, with truffle and tobacco becoming more noticeable, but it never loses the blueberry accord. It’s not exactly my thing, but there’s nothing wrong with it - it’s very pleasant and versatile season-wise so if you’re looking for a fresh blueberry chocolate this is up there

Smells like synthetic blueberry on the blotter but I have to say I am quite impressed by how it performs on my skin! Blueberry brings a nice sweet but fresh hit then the truffle and cocoa kick in to give a deep, earthy and slightly warm aroma. This is definitely the scent I would reach for during autumn when I want something special cuz I don't wear fruity scents often.

This is really nice at first. My first thought was that I love how they’ve managed to balance the blueberries and chocolate with enough earthiness to actually make it not even feel gourmand. I assume that’s the truffle mainly. But the more in dried down - over hours I’m talking about - the more something weird comes out that I don’t like. I assume that’s the truffle too. I think the more I wear it, the more that will stand out to me even from the start since I become more familiar with it through the drydown. If I did love this, I’d appreciate being able to get a version of it through the DUA brand (Blueberry Dreams).

I have a tester of this one. From the notes, I thought I'd love it but alas (or rather, thank goodness because who can afford ALL the perfumes they like?!) it was not for me. On first spray, I get a slight fruity sweetness and alcohol. Then it begins to dry down to a weird plastic-y melon and that's where it stays. Ick. I am so sad that is what I get from this fragrance as the notes that others get look so delightful. On my skin it is just not good at all.

Immediately had to scrub this off. I might revisit when I have a couple hours away from anyone. I thought it was pleasant at first, the blueberry and chocolate compliment so well but there was something hiding that popped out after a moment or two in the drydown. It smelled rancid, like BO and Saffron, sweaty stink, i dont know what could of caused this, perhaps the oud? I am sad and hoping it just needs to macerate.

The blueberry is def weird in this it smells more “purple” to me if that makes sense. The chocolate and truffle I detect giving like a dark sweetness with the violet really shining at the beginning but found this stuff doesn’t last on me but is adored by my mom so I guess it’s just a love it or hate it and I’m leaning on the latter the blueberry just is kinda odd

there are perfumes, and then there is art. bluebijou is clearly the latter. this is an EXPERIENCE. it takes you on a JOURNEY. it makes you FEEL something. it opens with juicy, sweet, (almost candy-like) blueberry. think: blue jolly rancher, blue blow pop, blue kool-aid. not sour, but pucker-worthy nonetheless. that is followed by a powdery (with the powder maybe coming from the violet) cacao that is (quickly) cut by the bitterness of the dark chocolate. you just start to settle into that, then, BOOM! truffle: incoming. i’m 90% sure i still smell dirt on the truffle. it’s raw, earthen, dirty. the powder from the cacao phase and the earthy-ness from the truffle follow you straight through to the drydown, when you’re left with a powdery, earthen oud (ever so slightly elevated by the musk and amber). i loved the opening. the middle was an experience, but if i’m honest it kinda gave me whiplash (we just went so many places SO QUICKLY!). the drydown was much more wearable. i do find it a bit masculine in its final stages. maybe two hours after i sprayed it on the back of my hand, i removed my makeup, double cleansed my face, toned, rubbed in some serum, moisturized, and applied lip balm and hand cream. bluebijou lasted through it all, so i do feel pretty confident about its staying power!

Blue Bijou is a botanical aromatic. The fragrance begins with a mellow aldehyic aroma—it's slightly fruity, with a slightly pungent vinyl accent to it. It smells like the interior of vintage muscle car or a classic car from the 80's, naturally perfumed by a vintage blue air freshener. It's unmistakable to the nostalgia of my childhood—and for many—should be just as unmistakable. The fragrance begins to develop some, but you don't get blueberries or chocolate, instead it reveals a subtly sweet pungent botanical aspect, very strongly reminiscent to cannabis. It's not right on the money by any consideration, but is definitely the first relativity that comes to mind (for me at least). At this stage, it invokes the nostalgic experience of baking out a classic car, or the after-effects of which create this exact aura within it. Mind absolutely blown at the creativity factor here. This is definitely the kind of fragrance that gains a cult following. Powerfully admired by its followers for its vivid, colorful, and creative elements. It is not however the type of thing anyone can just pick up and enjoy. It's not like a modern fragrance of any kind. It has a strong novelty quality about it. For those who can behold it though, it should be every bit of the gem that the name suggests.

Blueberries cacao powder with bit of annoying milk chocolate. I believe it's the milk chocolate note that ruins this blend and "Kiviskin". There is something like washed fresh fruits and sickly sweet that covers both blends! I can detect the truffles, tobacco, violets, and the violets leaves but this sweet note is just covering them all and makes it bit cloying. I had high hopes for this one, but i can't decide yet cause it's my 2nd test so far.. let's just get away from it and come back later on maybe i'll realize something that i'm not seeing or sensing now!

I've been wearing the sample for 2 days now, it starts with blue jolly rancher,transforms into hanging tree car air freshener, then violets, then chocolate. I enjoy the observation of a fragrance that evokes the immediate sensation of blue & the nostalgia of adolescence. I'm wearing it under rogue ishtar and its bringing out the sharp smoke note i never caught before. Maybe there can be a sequel called "blue smoke" or "bluish"

At first sniff this leaned too masculine for my liking which was interesting as to how fruity it smelt. After a few minutes it’s settled into a synthetic berry scent which is almost giving me a headache and I rarely ever get headaches from fragrances. It’s definitely on the masculine side, too synthetic though.

@blindbuysonly, me!! Where are you? My first niche that turned out a bit too masculine for my taste (a blind buy of course ). Really nice, but my husband only likes Amber, chocolate fruity wasn’t his thing either.

Nothing but sharp, fruity blueberry and violet leaf. Absolutely no detectable amount of cognac, chocolate, or any other notes whatsoever. Total disappointment.

Possibly my favorite fragrance ever - just wish I could find a bottle. If anybody has one they're looking to part with, I will pay you handsomely!!
