Cuba Man

Pitbull Cuba Man is very much a designer scent and a typical celebrity fragrance. Pitbull Cuba Man really is a crowd pleaser. It is a scent I got because of an ex-girlfriend LOVED it on me. She smelt it at a Sears and thought it smelt high school locker room, but still good and timeless. I wore it again today nearly two years later and got a rare compliment (from not a date or my mother.) To me, I knew it smelt Azzaro Chrome at first sniff, my then girlfriend (now an ex) agreed after I had her smell Chrome. Pitbull Cuba is Chrome but it is minus the infamouas metallic accord of it. maybe more along the lines of a less feminine Calvin Klein CK One. I also get the core of Pitbull Men in it with the cardamom, cedar and tonka notes. Today I also noticed a slight Invictus vibe due to the citrus, jasmine and tonka combo. It has spice like in the original Pitbull Man (cardamom), but lightened with the citrusy semi-aquaticness and jasmine of Chrome, CK One and Invictus. I think that due to its common-ness as it is similar to a number of famous scents, it is something that helps the fragrance rather than hurts it. As strange as that sounds to fragheads who typically want unique scents and to smell different. Performance is where Cuba really takes a hit for me. This is like most Pitbull fragrances (I still haven't found Miami to test and buy, but most reviews show it in a similar light.) Cuba Man lasts about 3 to 4 hours with 5 hours being the absolute maximum. That isn't too bad considering CK One is about the same, but CK One is about the same price or even cheaper in discounters. Chrome I has mixed performance but does better, though it is metallic. Cuba Man projects for about an hour to an hour and a half, tops and that is when you'll get the bulk of your reactions. After that, only your date will smell it on you, as it becomes a skin scent. This is really good for work, casual use, summer sports and active dates during the daytime I rate it overall at a 7 out of 10. As I stated, I really like it scent wise since it is common but in a different way, but it gets pretty undetectable at 4/5 hours in, but it really is one of those scents to get you lady reactions, if you have women who react to cologne near you. I will say that if you pay more than $20 or $25 USD for 100 ml of this, I think you overpaid.

Warm aromatic spicy Caribbean island scent clean breezy and fresh.

Smells like a generic men’s body soap kids in high school would use. Basically along the same lines of an AXE body spray. Yes it’s cheap, but you can get so much better for the same price. Look past this one.

Wow just no. Sooo synthetic and minimal complexity, all I smell is alcohol its too strong. Honestly nothing much I can smell besides alcohol, but thankfully I didn't buy it but rather and got it as a gift. But I would never recommend this unless, you like the brutal smell of synthetic alcohol and some weird spiciness/warmth.

Here at Perfumania, a lot of customers seem to be liking the smell. Almost everyone comments on how the box has a retro cuban feel. It does smell a tad like a more masculine Chrome smell.
