Passion Riviera

This is one of those I've been looking for a long time. It's sweet without feeling gourmand, the pear is realistic without smelling like shampoo. The florals are gentle supports and don't overwhelm, while the base is a soft musk, I detect no woody oud notes. The feeling of this is like a cool spring day, airy and aquatic with sweet fruit and flowers in the air. She's present without being loud, just a perfect balance.

I accidentally bought this one instead of the Santal De Paris and wow, I’m glad I did. This is beautiful! It is reminiscent with Nishane Hudred Silent Ways or Black Opium DNA. It’s sweet and floral, very easy to love and to wear. Florals are very soft and well blended, vanilla and pear adds beautiful sweetness. I want to say it’s lighter and airier than Nishane. Whispers of Admiration falls in the same category.

I’m unsure which direction this perfume is trying to take. It’s like jack of all trades, master of none. It’s a poor blend of fruits, musk, florals, vanilla, Oud (undetectable). It’s a bit screechy. There’s much better in this category and this one doesn’t match up to their sandalwood masterpiece.

I get creamy vanilla floral that has the right amount of sweetness. Thankfully, my nose does not detect any oud in passion.
