Rivulets

Reviewing from the travel spray set. In terms of the opening, Bright Hot is my favourite, but it has a crisp amber note that emerges in the drydown and gives me a headache. Overall there are similarities between Rivulets and BH with that marine note and creamy undertone but I settled on a full bottle of Rivulets because it is more gentle and does not give me a headache. And yes, it's very interesting that although lemon is listed, there is no citrus that is detectible on its own. The image of wearing this evokes white linen sheets drying outside in the sunshine in a beautiful garden. This is a very easy reach and I'll easily use up the 100 ml in a few months.

I get a lot of rounded citrus at first and then it settles into something really wonderful, and a little more floral, which lasts all day, albeit more intimately. It's beautiful to wear on a scarf as well, where you get a delightful waft even three days later. The longevity for me justifies the price tag. I am in love with the bottle design, too. This is a perfume I miss wearing when I leave the bottle behind for a few days, and I worry they will stop making it!

I picked up the travel set, like most it seems, and this is the second one I tried after closeness which totally threw me as I was expecting to looooove that one but it's an incredibly niche scent that left me expecting rivulets to be heavyyyy pepper in a very masculine way but it's actually a lovely airy clean scent that leans just a touch masculine so will probably be very ~pleasing~ to us girls who like something firmly unisex... except for the fact you can certainly find many similar clean musky scents for a better price point especially when it comes to a full size, but in the travel spray to say you've tried Harry's fragrances I don't think you'll be disappointed. I've been through a rollercoaster of emotions with all 3 fragrances but tbh I'm only annoyed that I can see myself justifying picking up another set once I run out 😅

The opening is a bit peppery, but I don’t get lemon at all. The linen middle isn’t a laundry type scent, but it is clean and comforting. The base notes are present throughout and well-balanced. This is a subtle and inoffensive fragrance I wear to bed or around the house, as it never feels heavy or cloying. I think it would layer really well with a variety of fragrances—I could see florals sitting well with it, or spicier scents. It’s not an attention-getter but there’s something about it that keeps me reaching for it. It’s a skin scent, but it lingers for longer than I would’ve thought. A blind buy that I don’t regret and will probably use up within the year (which is quick for me).

This is a very delightfully simple clean fragrance. Citrusy opening that then transforms into a fresh laundry like scent. It's not overpowering or loud laundry. Just understated, subtle, and perfectly wearable as a daily driver when you want to feel fresh.

The more I wear it, the more I see the vision of fresh laundry. I'm not in love with it though. 6/10

Fun to layer with other fragrances, clean scent. A little underwhelming olfactive wise, however that might be just because I lean primarily towards gourmands. Price point is high. Love the packaging

absolutely did not like this. it smells like tires to me which is sad cause i really wanted to like it. i get lemony tires for a pretty long time then it settles into a skin musk. the settling is definitely not worth the lemon pepper tires assault to my nose

totally agree with blackcat02, I definitely get aquatic ocean vibes from this. I think the dry down is identical to "11:11"
