Pop Heart

Wait for the gourmand wave to pass, ( im praying for a chypre revival myself), then if you LOVE sweet fruit perfumes without that cheap generic edge that’s sometimes evident in sweet perfumes, this could be your happy perfume. I’m not really into profiling people for fragrance but this perfume has the evident expertise applied as one might normally expect to experience when testing a floral or woody amber but in this most playful of fruity fragrance. I wonder if the quality of it provides an ageless dimension as this is obviously not a generic. It’s not that it’s complex, it’s just that it is quality. I got the pineapple first up and whilst there is that slight acidic edge that can make your mouth water the overwhelming takeaway is of sweetness. There’s vanilla in there which made me think of ice cream a bit. It was refreshing to experience something beyond the SdJ body sprays or a million Kayalis. It has great longevity. Decent projection but make no mistake this is not a serious perfume though it’s been created seriously. I could never wear to my work and see it as a weekend/holiday fragrance. This brand have impressed me and though this pretty much has to be tried before buying, it really is worth checking out if only to experience this fragrance style done style done high end. Loved it but not everyone will.

To those who are saying others are being misleading comparing it it other scents.. remember that fragrance is subjective. I did comment that it reminded me of Angels’ Share and I stand behind that. I’ve used nearly half my bottle so I’ll clarify my review further. It reminds me of Angels Share in that there is a sweet airiness and spiciness I get from Angels Share. Take that and add your fruity notes. It is simply gorgeous! It is not an Angels Share dupe and they are different fragrances, however share that same vibe to me. All and all- try for yourself because fragrance is again subjective! Hence why I rated Pop Heart a 5 and the average is 3.8 currently. Does that mean I am misleading?

This perfume is spectacular. I am confused by any negative reviews and the comparisons to angels share especially! This is literally the only ‘fruity’ fragrance I have in my collection as I don’t typically like that vibe, however this was love at first sniff. It smells so expensive. There is something so luxurious about this. It lingers and stays forever. It’s not too strong, too sweet I think it’s blended to perfection. The only similarly I have found is to the xerjoff fragrance but I think this is just so much better. This is the only perfume in my collection I really like to gatekeep as I have never seen anyone talk about it however I am so worried it might get discontinued!

Can't agree with the previous reviewer. Giving a perfume a bad rep because it doesn't smell like another perfume from the same perfumer that she liked before is purely a matter of her personal taste. Pop Heart is a bright, juicy, full-bodied cocktail of happiness - pineapple, berries, vanilla, all are in here! It's like a splash of fruit pulp, both juicy sweet and a bit sour - the kind of sourness that is innate to berries and keeps them from becoming too sugary. Such a happy scent! Lasts very long and projects well too. I think it's a winner for sunny days. Or for days when one wants an extra dose of good vibrations.

I’ve had a sample of this for about a month sitting in a drawer. The first time I smelled I didn’t like it but it must’ve been the mail shock because I tried it again today and oh man!! For some reason I get Angel Share in this, but make it fruity and muskier. So beautiful!! If I use up my sample I’m getting a full bottle. Edit to add- in the 4 hours I’ve been wearing this I’ve received 5 compliments from strangers passing by. I am wearing about 5 sprays from a sample tube. It smells so heavenly- asking for this from my husband for upcoming anniversary!

Sweet baby Sheezus!!! I knew from the sample that I had to get a FB, but it was always out of stock (I can see why). Pop heart is my favorite fruity-saffron scent in the entire world. And even though saffron isn't listed in the pyramid, I truly believe it's there. It gives all that fruit some structure and backbone and it's done to perfection! Sillage is insane and longevity is eternal. ** Do not wear this if you're going to commit a crime...they will find your ass** Just an FYI. Love this in my collection!

Nothing like Angel’s Share. I sometimes wonder how people can relate these fragrances to each other? Where do they get these ridiculous resemblances? This one is very fruity, raspberry and pineapple are the strongest links. Then caramel, vanilla and musks take over. It’s a beautiful blend with some sexiness vibes to it. Fruity but never childish. So captivating! Feminine leaning. Be aware! 🔖💕

Incredibly delicious fragrance that will take you straight to Summer. Sweet, fruity, mouth watering as stated by the previous reviewer! Rarely do you come across such a well-blended tropical perfume without getting the sunscreen vibe. This is one of the very few fragrances I could not stop thinking about for a very long time, and I just had to have it. To me this is a 10/10.

Are there quality issues with batches? I ordered a sample of this, and it was beautiful smooth pineapple with strawberry and vanilla in the base. Love! I went ahead and ordered a bottle, which to my disappointment is much more musky pineapple and smells very synthetic. I mean the musk here is spiky, the kind of Kirke musk, and I hate that 😕

The opening is the best part as it has such a sweet, fruity, juicy bomb of scent mostly of pineapple and strawberries. Then it dries down to a very long lasting, and nuclear projection of that fake caramel aromachemical(s). Sigh. This is exactly why I have moved on from department store perfumes, it is just so screechy. Good news though for those people that love cheap dupes and don’t mind the screechy, made in a lab burnt caramel musks, it’s less than $200 for 50 ml and won’t fade from your clothes in this lifetime.

Firstly this smells nothing like la capitale. Idk why some people leave misleading reviews. This has that montale/mancera dna. IYKYK. It’s really hard to pick out any note in particular. The opening is fruity. I definitely get a tart green apple, and ripe pineapple. The dry down has the same musk used in most montale & mancera fragrances.

Wow is this a power sweet bomb... reminiscent of Erba pura to me... super potent... do not blind buy! 1-2 sprays will be plenty even for the over sprayer. Definitely sweet fruity in the opening, the dry down softens a bit but still strong in your face scent profile. I like it but it will only be worn in weather under 40 degrees!

I think I’m anosmic to some of the compounds of this fragrance - to me, I smell a quiet, musky, fruity scent with soft vanilla. Unfortunately, the musk is the same type of sharp musk in Erba Pura that my nose doesn’t agree with.

Unsuccessful blind buy for me as this is a fruity/musk bomb in the same vein as Erba Pura... I do get the fruits and sweetness at first but on my skin, this quickly transforms into a musky beast and it gives me this massive headache to top it off 🙄 so that’s a no for me, unfortunately. Very gorgeous bottle though...

This smells very similar to perfumes such as Erba Pura and La Yuqawam Jasmine Wisp. I don't detect any caramel. Just fruity notes with a dominant screechy musk accord. If you're not a fan of the aforementioned perfumes, you will be disappointed with this perfume. #BlindBuyFail

Disappointed. Mark Buxton also created my favorite fragrance Lamar by Kajal. I expected this to be a kindred spirit as it has similar notes. The caramel, musk & fruit smells plastic/rubber-ish and synthetic overall. Try Kajal instead.

I get pineapple in the opening, but after about 15 minutes it becomes a synthetic bomb. I don’t know if I’m going to keep it.

Awful experience. The given notes are deceptive. Not a safe blind buy. Very screechy.

Tropical fruit and musk. Supper sweet but counterbalanced very well by the musk. If you like sweet fruit with a hint of animal give this a try. The only fragrance I can remotely link this to is pannaco tahaa, which is mango and musk. That one is radio active. This is much more toned down projection wise. I prefer the PT to this but that is just a personal preference. On me at the two hour mark this begins to come and go. This is a very strange fragrance. It is still coming and going, how do I describe the sensation because on paper and in my head it is not possible yet it is happening. At times I can hardly smell it and I am completely overwhelmed by it at the same time. The overwhelmed sensation is fleeting. Am I smelling it? Do I only think I am smelling it? 🤷🏼

Pineapple and strawberry bubblegum. Very fruity and sweet, a little creamy. I smell the green apple too, possibly more than the pineapple or blended well together. There’s this raspberry cream that I get in Kajal Almaz and more-so in Rania Musc Moschus that is also not obnoxious, but the two compared are more in the creme saver realm. That cream in Pop Heart has caramel added after some hours with the fruit blend from the opening still maintained and some musk that isn’t harsh. The projection is strong-moderate and gets a little softer close to 5 hours, but not like a skin scent. I’m not sure if this could withstand summer heat. It may handle summer nights and winter’s briskness. Honestly best for spring and fall, day or night and lasts at least 6-7 hours on me.

The very initial spray smells so good! Sexy, musky, fruity, did I say sexy? I revisited my sample a few more times and found that it has changed in a matter of 24hrs. Now it reminds me of HOS Minnie Mouse. However, Pop Heart is musky where Minnie is creamy. That is the only thing that makes them different to my nose. Not sure if its worth having if you're trying to have a *unique* growing collection.

Incredible, sweet, juicy and delicious! An honestly mouth watering delicious fragrance. I love how this sweet without invoking a headache or sickly. Perfectly blended, the caramel is extremely smooth in this and balances out the tartness of the fruit. I have a 2ml sample and hoping to get a full bottle.

I don't know if scent split doesn't know how to decant this perfume properly or what because I've gotten 2 of this fragrance because of how bad the first was. It smells like a dusty papaya? And that note isn't even in here, there's nothing sweet or pineapple about this to me.

Very juicy, fruity fragrance! I have not tried La Capitale, so I cannot tell how similar it to that one, but it's in the same family as Erba Pura, but more well blended and less musky. Even though it much more elevated than Erba Pura, still, it's not my cup of tea.

Gorgeous sweet fragrance but have to be in the right mood for it. Perfect for cold grey days when I really need a pick me up and this immediately transports me to a happy place!

Primarily a pineapple musk to my nose. I can see the comparisons to Erba Pura. Not that they smell exactly alike, but more like they are a similar style. Cousins, not siblings.

This is La Capitale without the horibble oud in it. But i think sillage is for the price point bad.

Fruity gummy bears that melted into a dark green glob after being left inside of a hot car.
