Heartless

Crystallized soap bubbles, a crisp bar of dove soap and femme fatale washing the crime off her skin. This is bright and clean and pretty. It’s so clean you’re not sure you can trust it. The story telling behind this is so fun! This is a beautiful soapy and lightly floral scent that would shine in the hottest days of summer. I think this is a more elevated, better executed “Bubble Bath” by Maision Margiela. If you’re someone who likes a clean and fresh bedtime scent, this is ideal. I purchased the oil samples, so I expect little to no silage. I do expect this to have a lighter than moderate wear because of the short-lived olfactory notes of a fresh scent. Recommend sampling, it’s so pretty! 7.8/10

Smells just like a bubble bath. Soapy, super clean, and a little floral. The longer it sits on my skin (especially the wrists), it smells almost kind of incensey? Maybe that's the egyptian musk. I really like how it smells the longer it stays on.

the most expensive bar of soap you've ever smelled. it's sparkly clean and posh, but somehow there is something colorful and lively about it. i once saw someone describe this perfume as a big iridescent soap bubble and i think that’s perfectly accurate. and the projection is better than you’d expect! i do have to wonder how much of my love for this perfume is influenced by its branding. it was originally released as part of poesie's ghibli-inspired collection, in reference to howl’s moving castle. and the image it conjures - an eccentric and bratty prince, equal parts neurotic and magical, taking a self-indulgent bubble bath - certainly makes the scent feel more lively. but i see how it could read as boring fancy hotel or stuck-up upper class woman to other people. still, i do think this fragrance has something a bit more interesting than your typical soapy scent, but i can’t quite put my finger on it.

What I imagine Jesus Christ’s bath water to smell like. It’s not heartless at all.
