Village Bakery

they finally added Village Bakery!!!! I’m not joking i’ve been waiting for this moment for ever!! this is my signature scent. hands down. i’ve purchased this both in the oil and in the spray! and both do not disappoint the only way i can describe 'village bakery' is addictive and satiating. i had this 'freshly baked bread' candle from a niche brand once that i burned entirely in maybe a couple of days. and i have never been able to find something comparable since. until i purchased this holy grail. village bakery has an immediate creamy, sweet, comforting onset of wheat, butter, whipped cream. almost reminiscent of a full fat vanilla bean ice cream. when i wear it some say it has a hint of coconut. reminds me of: walking into a bakery in the early morning, laying on the couch directly in the sunlight, white ribbon, and puffy sleeves with lace!

Smells like chocolate to me? I can't quite put my finger on which dessert exactly, but it's one of those foods you can't stomach more than two bites of because of its overwhelming sweetness.

Sickenly sweet caramel that induces nausea. Has the slightest yeasty smell that when dried smells like alcohol.

not bad but way too sweet for me. bread is less sourdough and more milk bread & caramely pastries

omg, so bready and fluffy and sweet. the description is spot-on. every time i smell my vial, i can’t get over how yeasty (in a good way) they’ve managed to make this. the kind of fragrance i’d show people to tell them about how amazing and true to life indie perfumes can be! as it dries down, the doughiness fades and it becomes a sweet skin scent that reminds me of clean reserve skin without the muskiness. your-skin-but-sweeter, pearl sugar sitting on top of a warm bun kinda vibes.
