Whisper Your Bitter Things

absolutely delicious. i feel like i could eat this perfume. i would say this is probably my favorite perfume of all time... it's one of my signature scents. it is genuinely the best coffee perfume i have ever smelled. it is so impressive because of how realistic it smells. it literally smells like you are sitting in a coffee shop, with a warm plate of cinnamon danishes and vanilla pods right in front of you. and under that, i smell the most addictive clove bud note. this perfume is seriously addictive so purchase with that in mind! you will never want to go without it ever again, especially if you are a coffee lover. i wear this all year round but mostly in the fall and winter. it is essentially a more natural and sweeter version of ysl black opium. i absolutely adore this perfume ♡ thank you poesie!

This is incredibly special. It opens with a crips, bitter black coffee and over time settles into a soft spicy or aromatics (that is still maintaining that crisp feeling). There is a briskness that makes you feel like you're in chilly weather - damp weather, like an atmospheric rainy fall day. I see that some compare it with Gris Charnel and I can understand how they get there. This doesn't smell like Gris Charnel, but it sets the same stage, the same atmosphere, the same mood. And if you love that mood, you'll love this scent. And I LOVE that mood! Whisper Your Bitter Things is outstanding! It's art.

This. Is. DELICIOUS! It has just the right amount of sweetness to it, it doesn't go full gourmand. Coffee is, of course, the dominant note; but there is an undercurrent of brown sugar to it, which I think is the "cinnamon wood" (should say cassia) and vanilla coming together. The jasmine & neroli are truly whispers, but I can smell them; and the clove is detected in the waft, not on the skin. Nothing bitter about this baby, it’s absolutely wonderful!

kind of smells like the vanilla bean coffee beans i would sniff at trader joe’s as a kid ... kinda smells like a too-sweet candle my 4th grade teacher would burn. i wanted it to be drinkable coffee I guess. very sweet. won’t be the end of my coffee fragrance hunt but it’s nice

Not the best coffee perfume I’ve tried, there’s something in the scent I did not like... it’s too intimate to me doesn’t project or have sillage. Overall just not a scent I’d recommend, if you like coffee there are better ones like kerosene follow (roasted coffee beans) or followed (caramel coffee latte), coffee addict Theodoros k (mocha latte coffee).

Unpleasant and confusing. Just this weird, heavy, bitter mix of coffee and who-knows-what.

Coffee with a lot of sweet, French Vanilla creamer

first impressions: this isn't quite the black coffee scent I was looking for. More of a scent that uses coffee, than a coffee perfume. If you look at this way, it's an interesting scent that I would expect to thrive in the shoulder seasons. The florals and coffee are almost competitive, but the cinnamon hasn't come through yet. The fruitiness here sort of makes me think of an alcoholic coffee smell. More of a hotel, than a scent I'd feel at home in. Might grow on me

This is very sweet, not bitter, and fruity in the top. I am not getting any of the listed notes other than a whiff of floral. In the middle and drydown, the slight steam of coffee maybe makes its way out but I wouldn't know if you didn't tell me. This is just a sweet fruity fragrance so far. But then it starts to fade into coffee but an almost boozy coffee because of the sweet fruitiness at the top. Almost like wine mixed with coffee.
