Smelling this and Cuba Gold side by side I could not tell the difference.. a bright, intensive, but unnatural valilla in the beginning and then it turns into a creamy, musky-woody vanilla. Performance is better than Cuba Gold (around 10h with 2h of nice projection) and this type of fragrance is hard to dislike, even though it does not have a high quality to it. I paid 10$ for a tester and I don't regret it. EDIT: While I maintain my opinion that this is similar to Cuba Gold, this has a clean-soapy vibe. With its performance (a fragrance that lasts and does not project) and its soapy vibe, it makes a great office fragrance IMO for pennies on the dollar. DO NOT EXPECT PRADA QUALITY FOR UNDER 20$, but this is solid in its own right.

This is by far the best fragrance from the " Police Man / Contemporary line " collection from my point of view. I first purchase this back in 2009 , after discovering this gem I've purchased this every time the bottle was empty. For me this is a beast in the club ( night time) I can smell this on me after 12 hours. Keep in mind that this is sweet ( a can feel a lot of vanilla ) If you don't like sweet fragrances , this is not for you. If you do like sweet fragrances ( all year round / club scent , and also a cheap one, considering that in 2009 I've paid 10 Euro for 100 ml in Italy , and now is the same price for it. I can definitely recommend this for someone who is in between the 20 -30 years maybe even 35 years old.

Top Notes - Fresh spicy, a bit of lavender. definitely Mint. nice dry down to a vanilla aftershave, smells just like shaving cream but SO much better. Like a fresh out the shower smell. my new go to summer spray, perfect for after the gym or casual everyday. Not too prominent, and as a woman I don't feel too masculine wearing it.

Pleasant smell, a sweet fresh-(spicy) fragrance. Very aromatic and linear, Vanilla and lavander are the primary notes, something a little spicy on a light woody base. Good for summer. Very versatile in my opinion. I can see myself wearing this on with a casual/sport outfit, in a classroom/office, etc.. Also, it reminds me of JPG Performance on my skin is ~7H with weak-moderate projection/sillage in first hour.

I found this for dirt cheap last summer. I had never heard of it. It's pleasant, a woody oriental with a vanilla/floral accord (yang-ylang). Sweet, but not too strong. Can be cloying if you don't like sweet scents, though.

This is very good scent for the Price but it is sweet. I use for work or gym and i like it! I got many compliments, longevity is good! Try it! For that price smells like a more expensive scent.

A clone of JPG Le Male, and a successful one I might add with the fact that it is a bargain, although the performance is not that desirable.

This is a review for Police's Independent, which is in a similar bottle (it's got a darker tint to the glass). I have to put the review here because it's not yet in the database. Notes are: Top Notes: Bergamot, Mandarin, Nutmeg, Violet leaf Heart Notes: Sandalwood, Blond woods, Patchouli, Vetiver Base notes: Musk, Frankincense, Benzoin, Amber. I call it a "budget Amouage," due to the notes and the clear frankincense. Another way to think of it is as a combination of Terre d'Hermes ("dirty orange"") and Encre Noir, though it's not as "chemical" as my "vintage" Encre Noir bottle. The violet leaf is not strong, and I can't say I got much in the way of nutmeg. And if you are thinking syrupy amber or vanillic amber, you aren't getting either one here. It cost me very little on a clearance sale, so of course I'm pleased, despite not wearing these scents often - I prefer Serge Noir, since it's softer and less "chemical" smelling to me. However, the thought of layering this one with Serge Noir sounds good to me!
