To Be Camouflage

Great cheapie. You gotta put 6+ sprays with this one, as it is quite weak, but the scent itself is absolutely heavenly. Starts with a fresh rich and fruity combination of primarily apple and mint, but I can catch a few whiffs of citrus here and there. On the initial dry down, a lot of vanilla sweetness creeps in and mixes well with the fruit. I guess it is also quite warm with a tiny bit of spice on the initial drydown, but that quickly fades. After it's fully dried down and the base notes come in, it becomes even richer and sweeter with some warmth from the amber coming in. Incredible scent. Not the biggest fan of the bottle though. It's a bit tacky, but it does come with a great pressurised atomiser. The thing that brings it down is its longevity. Fades pretty quick so I would definitely reapply and put 6+ sprays of this. Great if you want a versatile, sweet and fruity yet simple everyday scent. Great value for price too.

This is an interesting and yet unassuming fragrance. You might think that its just one of those generic cheapies out there seeking attention but it’s not. This one has its own character and personality. For a $12 fragrance with good scent quality and decent performance, you can’t go wrong with this. It’s not a complicated scent profile and expect a moderate sillage and projection. But there’s something in this fragrance that makes you enjoy it as you wear it. If you’re a hobbyist or collector, this is a bang for your buck. I’m so glad 🙂 I got their very last bottle at TJ maxx and it was a successful blind buy. I would rate this gem a 9/10 “Let us spread the scents of peace and kindness. The two most beautiful fragrance in the world that will cost you nothing and will get you a totally different kind of compliments” 🙏

When I first got this cologne, it was really hit and miss for me. On first spray, I could hardly smell it at all. Then I could pick up the slightest scent, which almost smelt like it was off, or had been sitting on the shelf for so long that the notes had faded. It was just a weak, almost non existent apple and grass scent. I didn't like it. I put it on my shelf at home and didn't touch it for aaages. It sat there for about 2 months, and then last week I decided to use it to spray around the house after I just cleaned it, almost like air freshener. Then something magical happened. The scent burst open on first spray, and I could instantly start smelling all of these new base notes! I'm now in LOVE with this cologne, and use it at every chance I get!! It's so powerful, sweet, and hypnotic. Only love now!!

Never been a huge apple fan, but this one is a true grower scent. Was underwhelmed at first, but Camouflage waits to reveal it's character later on down the road. It's an airy apple cinnamon that's optimistic and post shower happy. Green and clean with outdoorsy notions. Nothing grey, brooding or stuffy like PR One Million. It will envoke a positive frame of mind the more you wear it. 5 years from now, I think Police Camouflage will be sought after by collectors. Appreciation sometimes comes via 20/20 hindsight. An interesting purchase that's well worth the price of admission.

This one, besides the Original “To Be” are the only skull releases from Police that are their own animal and not dupes. I wish I could say the same for the rest of the line. To say that this smells like Invictus, is silliness. Camouflage is a fun apple cinnamon sprinkled on a bed of minty green freshness. Reminds me a lot of Apple Jacks cereal. I really like it.

The most unusual police scent. However, I don't know why it was voted as the closest perfume; "Invictus" and "Versace Eros". It has nothing to do with either of them. Honestly, I have not found a similar one. For a lower mid-range perfume, it has quite an individual scent. I've bought it several times in my life.

I purchased This scent for my boyfriend who likes camo. Perfect everyday scent. Very pleasant indeed.

Um, dunno what I really think about this. Saw the Police brand often enough here and there, but always assumed it was some crappy knockoff brand or something. Then I saw a Police watch somewhere, and wondered why it so was so much $ for something I'd not heard of. An older friend looked at me like I was new and said "Police is a good brand." This beguiled me. Meanwhile, that same night, at a Shopper's Drug Mart, I saw a bottle of this stuff for $19.99. I left it, and read about it online. Enjoyed that it came in a nifty skull bottle which looked cool to have in my collection. Today I went and they had at a different location, this and the normal "To Be". Not having smelled either before, I went for the one with the cool camouflage on it...this! The smell? Uh, a little girly, a little mild, unusual and sweet. Probably worth the $(an elderly chemist-turned cologne store owner told me scents need to be made in either Italy or France...if they're made in the U.K. or North America, they tend to be of poor quality). This stuff is Italy, so it can't be that bad. Wonder which one o' these is the best? You don't really need this smell...but I don't know why...it's not gross, not cheap smelling...kind of smells like something grapefruity or like a candy. Meh. Update: What does it remind me of? Canali Summer Night. Me thinks that's why they make them so quickly, then make them disappear, just to sell a "new" one quickly. On that "note" :P this is milder than CSL

This is unique, two that I have owned this is compared to are one million and invictus, well, it's neither 100%, if you want a clone of either this isn't the fragrance for you but this is still quite nice. if you liked their "To be a rebel" by police also this is very similar. Usually apple notes I don't care for, One example being salvatore ferragamo f in black which I thought was awful but this does quite well. its got a light somewhat spicy opening, airy, this mild aromatic sweetness creeps in and becomes something beautiful as the scent opens up. The red apple, cinnamon and a few other notes stand out. It's another youthful, soda pop type scent to go clubbing with. I'm actually quite impressed with this. I got to try it at my uncles house and I wasn't expecting much as most of my colognes in my collection cost 2 to 5 times more than these go for. But I would absolutely recommend checking this out if you can.

At the time of writing this review 08/2015,Police - "To Be Camouflage" is exclusive to Savers(a low price budget drugstore)in UK.Selling for only £19.95 for 125ml (RRP £40).Has to be a bargain.I bought one myself and it's exactly what you would expect from a Police fragrance.Pleasant,innofensive but nothing special.However after wearing a few generous squirts to my chest & neck,the fragrance did last a full 6-7 hours on a hot/humid day in London,but fairly close to skin.And I could identify the sweet/sour notes.Maybe rhubarb & red apple? Lasting notes were woody/soft/slightly sweet(vanilla & tonka bean?). The only other fragrance I would compare it to would be "What About Adam" by Joop or "Citrus & Woods" by Yardley,though much,much softer. Would I buy it again? I doubt it. But I can envisage my young nephew getting some for Christmas !

Police perfumes have not very high quality but they have also good price. Most importantly, perfumes have an independent character. Like this perfume. With an aromatic and fruity scent and a sunny and ozonic mid-fragrance that comes to an end with a woody and amber smell. Like most police perfumes, of course, it has a weird glass design that might not be liked by everyone.

I have had this cologne for a while and now it has just faded away from my collection. It's not even bad it's just the fact that it's just it doesn't last long plus the bottle takes some space in my small collection. The bottle it self is flashy The scent is pretty good The fact is the scent gets boring and you will lose interest. I would get a smaller bottle or if a friend has one ask if u can use it once in a while.

Fresh lively fragrance, dominant notes of mint and apple immersed in warm citrus and spicy sour notes. The clean note of lavender is perceptible, undoubtedly a fragrance suitable for young people who are just starting out with perfumery. Good evolution and persistence.

Been wearing this now for a whole week, and i must admit it smells very good, mabe the best police fragrance in a long time, its fresh clean and not offensive at all, sometimes i pic up whiffs of a masculin sweetness now and then, a great buy for the price.

Smells like a green melon at first, but that might just be me. Its fresh, youthful and brings a good mood. Only thing not going for this is the performance. After 2 hours, its basically gone. Price is fairly cheap. Overall, 7.8/10.

Smell is really nice,projection is fine and longevity might be weak,for the price its a great parfume and bottle design will surely add to my collection.

Well it has a cool bottle... or tacky, depending on your perspective. I like it anyway, and I'm not even a fan of (gratuitous) skulls. Funnily enough, the day after this arrived I was asking a colleague what fragrance they were wearing because it smelt deliciously gourmand, and she said it was Police Good Vibes for Her. So seems they do make some good frags. This one on the other hand, not so great. I wanted to like it based on the description of it's notes alone, apple cinnamon etc, but it's just so cheap and synthetic smelling. It does work a bit better on skin than clothes (where it seems to take on some of those cloying grape overtones that the Silver Scent range is notorious for). Performance is decent, it lasts a good 4 hours or so, not a beast, but certainly present. However, the blend itself is pretty "meh". I find the opening leans masculine and smells decently balanced, but that quickly fades into a jumble of screechy synthetic genericness, again à la the Silver Scent stuff. I guess a lot of the same notes are present; lemon, cardamom, orange blossom, nutmeg, tonka bean, vetiver. On paper at least. Smelling it, it's pretty hard to pick anything out.

At first, I was sceptical with all these sweet notes alomst exploding with the opening spray. Apple, vanilla, lavender, rhubarb and spicy hints of cardamom or cinnamon. I first thought it was a women's fragrance. Almost overwhelming. But as it dries down, the notes settle to a more masculine sweet or, even, unisex scent. It's very powerful so don't overspray. Projects very well, lasts a whole day on my skin. Very affordable too. Edit: it gets somehow very powdery with the dry down on my skin in summer time. A kind of powdery smell that almost gets cloying.. might go easy with this one.

This basically is a dupe of Paco Rabanne’s Invictus. The mint note gives a similarity to Versace Eros. There’s some well-blended red apple on top. And that’s about it. Not bad.

Its terrible, don't buy. Lasts 2 hours max and becomes a skin scent after 30 mins. And the bottles so ugly I'm ashamed to have it in my collection.

Very short acting but good red apple and woody smell not too sharp - but ultimately too short on the skin - and so what is the point???

Upon first spray it smelled like 1 million family of bubblegum scents. Though it leaned heavy on the cloying side like Guess Noire which hurt my nose. After two fails with police. I won't be trying them again. Returned thankfully.

Let me start this review by saying that I am a female who, admittedly has a severe addiction to perfumes....not only is perfumes my thing, but I LOVE skulls-I have skull clothing my shower curtain is skull print I have them every where in my home as decor I have at least 25 of them tattooed on my body,I’m sure you get the drift, and to continue this ramble one of my other loves is camouflage print-again with the clothes, purses, blankets etc etc . So when I was at Shoppers Drug Mart the other day and saw this on the $19.99 shelf I HAD to buy it, not wanted to buy it, iHAD to buy it lol even though my husband doesn’t wear any type of cologne or anything aside from deodorant I just me fed this! If for nothing else I could use it as decor! Wel, I have today I find that this could easily be a unisex scent, albeit a slightly more masculine one but unisex nonetheless! Im curious if many other people fee the same and would love to hear from anyone who has HD a chance to smell many of the fragrances from this brand. You can’t find it anyone in the city I live so I don’t know how I stumbled upon this lol this to me is like a CK2/CK Summer unis c scents, those sorts of ones. I love it! And if anyone is able to find the woman’s version of this please let me know!!!

Received this as a gift and was initially a bit worried as the original "to be" is one of the very few fragrances that I dislike. Thankfully my worry was unfounded, "Camouflage" is a whole different animal. Fruity fresh is the way I would describe it, there's a synthetic accord somewhere that actually adds to it and makes it somewhat unusual. Has a modern vibe, ironically I doubt this would help you blend in (camouflage) as it is quite attention grabbing! Projection and longevity is spot on for this type of scent. Very pleasantly surprised! :)n

I have to admit I think skull bottles are awesome ;) This bottle design actually reminds me so much of my best friend. He's into anything to do with war; both history wise and gaming, and loves to wear camo (yes it's abbreviated "camo" and not "camou" lol). I'm partial to a bit of camo print too, and love skulls! ;) I wonder if it actually smells ok... I've only tried the women's one in the purple skull bottle and it was a sickly sweet fruity. Not what I'd expect from a skull-shaped bottle anyway.

Tested on my jumper: this smells like an ice block from my childhood! Maybe like the cola or the lime zuper duper, if you know what I'm talking about! It smells sweet and fizzy and spicy or fresh. Green aromatic if I had to put it into a real category. Fades to a more vanillic fragrance with a weird spicy sweat note, going to call it for cumin. Not my jam, but unexpected and interesting. The vanilla is musky and marshmallowy. I'm standing by something sweet and fizzy and cola flavoured.

This bottle looks amazing in my collection, the JPGaultier tab is annoying. just received this today (75ml bottle) love it, sweet & really long lasting. i picked my bottle up for £15 so I'm more than happy, would i get it again definitely!
