To Be Woman

I considered buying this for months. I was first attracted to the cute bottle (im a fan of that) and then I liked that people said it was fresh and shampoo-like but still very sweet. The insanely cheap price was also very tempting. So I finally bought it and this is probably the most excited and satisfied i've ever been with a blind buy! It's sooo nicely sweet immeadiately, and the citrus gives it a beautiful freshness. When you get whiffs of it after spraying, that's when you detect the shampoo-smell and it's amazing. So fresh, but not too aquatic or green- it's like you're very clean and have used a beautiful sweet fruity shampoo earlier in the day. The candy smell is great, like the yellow or orange Starburst lollies, but because it's a citrus sweet, it's not cloying. It's refreshing and delicious. It lingers sweet for hours, lasting 5 hours or so on my skin, and I frequently smell it over those hours. Work safe and office safe as you could totally get away with people thinking you just use a sweet shampoo every morning. I am mostly mindblown by this fragrance because it was only $20 for 100ml, lasts a great amount of time for that price, and is a very versatile scent, for work, school, days out, at home, indoors, outdoors, anything! This will carry me like a delicious icy cool blanket through summer. Note to self: this is a little like SJP NYC edp and a LOT like the opening of Nina by Nina Ricci.

I'm surprised this is marketed towards women, this leans so masculine on me! I do have the kind of skin chemistry that loves to amplify woody/amber/etc notes though, so that could be why. It doesn't lean TOO masculine to make this unwearable on me though, I'd say this sits more in the unisex territory. It's sweet and citric for sure but it's also very woody, and surprisingly a bit earthy (more on that in a minute). Both the apple and lime are distinct but everything else is kind of hazy/abstract. Yes there's sweetness, woodiness, florals, but I couldn't tell you whether I'm smelling sandalwood or cedarwood, jasmine or magnolia, etc. On first application I thought to myself "oh, this actually has a kind of earthiness to it... interesting" and then cackled as I recalled @theriver's review. They're SPOT ON! You absolutely do get a sort of wet grass and mud effect. I think it's pleasant though! It's a bit too boring for me to want to keep around though. I think the fact it's not as sweet as I was expecting it to be is factoring into my lack of enjoyment. I'm gutted as this smelled wonderfully fruity, light and sweet on my friend!

I'm really in love with this perfume! It's really girly, fresh, young scent it reminds me a little bit of Chupa Chups lollipops without feeling of being too childish. I'm a fan of sweet perfumes and this one really appeals to me (and people around). The longevity on me is amazing, I used about 4 sprays in the morning (about 9:20) and I could smell it when I was back home (20:00). The bottle is original, it definitely drives your attention to it. Some people like it, some people don't, for me it doesn't really matter as long as I enjoy this scent which at some points also reminds me of sweet cocktail with refreshing lemon/lime and ice which is perfect on hot summer days.

I've had this perfume for a year. I really like the smell of it. It reminds me a little bit of Bath and Body Works Sweet on Paris, I always wish they made that into a EDT, or EDP, because the mist isn't strong enough for me. I prefer EDP over anything else. This scent isn't that unquie, but it's still one of my favorites. I love the skull bottle. The sillage, and longevity are really good. The Longevity is at least 4 hours. The sillage is moderate. This perfume is citrus, and candy like mostly. If your into sweet scents it's a must have. Overall I give the scent a 8/10.

You know what? I am going to be completely honest. I adore this perfume. It is such a safe spring-appropriate scent. On my skin it is a blast of bergamot and candy. The bergamot leaves the scent kind of bitter(kind of like lime peel) to contrast the sweetness of the candy. There is very little crispness from the apple. Maybe there is a tiny hint of it, but on my skin it is more creamy than anything. This perfume isn't classy or elegant. It is just a playful scent for the younger ladies. I'm reaching for this whenever I want something as inoffensive as possible.
