Porsche Design Sport

When you see a painting with a certain style, you could suggest in whose style it is painted. When I smell Porsche Design Sport, I immediately thought of Alberto Morillas, Harry Fremont, Jacques Cavallier and Ilias Ermenidis: Experts of seemingly simple, fresh perfumes that are in fact, and I know for a fact, very carefully blended. As a fan of their style and creations, I am more than happy with my blind buy. This is a fantastic aromatic freshie that goes right next to L'eau Bleu d'Issey, Lanvin Homme Sport, Calvin Klein Truth, Acqua di Gio and Givenchy PH Blue Label etc. The price in EU is ridiculous for what you get in return. Put this juice in a Creed or MfK bottle, and watch people lose their minds, same goes for aforementioned works of art. Now the smell...The first note that hit me is the rosemary, very similar yet slightly toned down compared to what you get in L'eau Bleu d'Issey, and bergamot, with the citrusy floral effect. I don't get grapefruit at all, if Limonene is noted as grapefruit, okay then I'll take it. The overall blend is a cross between L'eau Bleu d'Issey, Lanvin Homme Sport and perhaps Bvlgari Man/Extreme recalling their watery violet leaf and grassy accords on a base of dry cedar, assuming similar molecules repeated from Acqua di Gio. Absolute pleasure... If you like the Mediterranean, herbal aromatic style from the millennial era, it's almost a given that you'll at least like this one, if not love, if not go crazy about it. One of the best cheapies out there, period.

Back a few years later and I swear it has developed into a deeper woodsy frag right out the bottle, noticing less of the sharp note and more well rounded and warmer notes. Wonder how it'll smell in another 2 years! Such a beautiful safe fragrance for any situation at any time of the year except maybe cold winter days. I use it after the shower and I feel like a fresh prince. Getting even more longevity to boot,

This stuff may smell generic at first, but once it develops into that ozonic and cedar freshness it smells bomb! Get a bottle straight from Germany, they are well made and nice to hold and a trophy frag for sure, looks great on my glass desk. The sprayer is a little weak and that's the only downfall. Very cool frag for outdoor activities 8/10

Porsche design is the brand for those who adore simplicity yet futuristic mode, the clothing, accessories gets you looking sporty and classy with aesthetic touch. Their fragrances are OK, of course there are better stuff out there but for the brand fans, worth having it. The only one i couldn't find is the essence summer ice.

what an under rated fantastic fresh fragrance.wow!it caught me off guard with its citrus rosemary and kinda minty opening.so energetic. gets a little spicy and fresh violet like on drydown.love this creation.this is much better quality than many designer and niche fragrance, its good for summer dominant countries. 9/10

Fresh smell.. this is what you want to smell like after workout & sports. Projection is pretty good and lasts like 6-8 hours on me.. PS : Ladies love it :)

I'm enjoying this right from the start. I find this similar to the Acqua DiGio world of citrus aquatic fragrances. Not exactly the same, but in the ballpark. This one has more of a grapefruit and bergamot mix, with the florals, woods and aquatic notes in the background. Performance on my skin is decent for this type. A summer banger for sure. Pretty sure it's been discontinued, as this one seems to be going the way of the dodo. One small issue....this is the second Porsche fragrance I bought and both have impressed me. However, both bottles have problems. This bottle has become sticky to the touch and cannot be cleaned with alcohol; it still gets sticky once it dries. The other (Titan Design) is a bulky metal bottle that leaks when handled due to it's strange push point. They're worth owning for the juice, at least.

This is so sweet fragrance and i mean in a non-sugary way. It's soft, fresh, warm. Like a fluffy cloud It's start with a chamomile although its not listed in the notes, but that is all i get from the top notes, in a way initial start reminds me of Issey Miyake L'Eau Bleue d'Issey Pour Homme. After it's brighten up. It's perfect blended, so i don't get any unpleasant fighting notes It's an everyday happy scent.

Your run-of-the-mill "sport" fragrance. Grapefruit & rosemary are the heart of the fragrance, making a citrus-woody/floral scent. I can detect juniper but I don't see it in the notes. Neat smell but generic & nothing special & for $50 you can do better unless you really love this fragrance, then you are good. Like & pass.

This stuff is pretty good. I tested it last night, and really liked this. I'm not 100% in love with this but it's definitely higher on the like list. Will I buy this? Probably not, unless I can find it on the cheap $15-20 USD. Overall it's very wearable and versatile. 7.5/10

For me this is a SIGNATURE FRAGRANCE. Very Underrated Gem of Fragrance World. Very WOODY, AROMATIC and CITRIC.. !! MUST MUST BUY.. !!!!! Even Better than Other Designer Brands.. !! Share your review once you known it.. !!

this fragrance can never go wrong. it is not complex but still very nice. but sillage is just so so.

2012's Porsche Design Sport by "Porsche Design" is basically a 1 to 1 copy of 2011's L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Eau d'Ete but with rosemary instead of sage. I am convinced that the Porsche design team set out to create a summer drive along the Mediterranean coast vibe by directly copying Issey with a fractionally more Mediterranean green note.

I think that the mentioned Bvlgari Man Extreme and Chanel Allure Homme Sport (=Versace Pour Homme) are all superior, and not alike at all. At least they're more crowd pleasers. If i need to compare to sg, it's a bit more like Moschino Friends Men, which I also dislike. This one is heavy on Grapefruit (also long-lasting), that gives a certain character. But if you need a summer frag with personality, you'd be better off with Mugler A*Men Pure Energy. I will use this Porsche as a gym scent for summer.

I just blind bought this and it reminds me of Bvlgari Man Extreme. If you like BME, you will like this. Doesn't project more than 1 hour. and become skin scent for under 5 hours.
