Porsche Titan

Even cooler than "The Essence" by Porsche Design, this one perfectly fits to a perfectly cool suit-and-tie outfit. I don't know if someone outside the business circles of Germany and perhaps the UK and Scandinavia will get it, but if you have a serious job to do, this is the fragrance to wear. Because this is a scent to accompany your appearance, not the other way round. ****

Let's see when it arrives on the market. I'm a big fans of porsche design products. All the other fragrances they make came with quality so I believe this one is another sincere porsche design items.

finally found original Titan bottle from Italy , expensive as it has become super rare to find one . Its is fantastic perfume , if you find one PICK it up without a second thought !

underrated gem. original, long lasting, fresh, optimistic and affordable. 7/10 now i figured out, that this is for 95% the guess man (that silver-green one) from 2006.

Beautiful fragrance for man, very long lasting and great sillage.

Best description of this fragrance would be: Carven L'Eau Intense Extreme Mint. This is a compliment, because L'Eau Intense is a very good green/minty fragrance. Be careful with the amount of sprays in summer though. This stuff is potent! This is VERY minty and may become cloying on very hot, humid days. My advise is spring and "cool" summer days. Only downside about the 100ml bottle is the trigger. You actually have to squeeze the bottle, to get the juice out. This is a nice idea, but not very practical. This also makes it unable to travel with the bottle, as it will release the juice when the sides are pressed. Unlike the flimsy plastic 50ml bottle, the 100ml bottle is encaged in metal, which makes it very heavy. It comes close to Dunhill Icon's 100ml bottle in weight. This is a hidden gem. Scent: 7/10 Projection: 10/10 (Be careful. Especially in the summer, three sprays max, else this will go beast mode. Will project for 4-5h+) Sillage: 9/10 (Strong) Longevity: 10/10 (I got 10h+ on this one) Versatility 7/10 (Due to the intensity, only good for cooler days) Uniqueness: 9/10 Presentation/bottle design: 4/10 (100ml bottle: Unpractical design: annoying trigger, big and unnecessarily heavy bottle. Unable to travel with, due to the fact that every bump to the sides will make the bottle spray) Price-performance: 9/10 (100ml cost me €39,-. This bottle will last a long time, since it sprays gentle, very potent sprays. Three is enough to get you through the day) Total: 7.5 (Bottle design actually made my final rating drop 0.5)

This is a fresh, bright green scent on the opening. I can also pick up on the basil in the mid and woods on the dry down, which is an interesting change. I enjoy this a lot. However, this bottle design is a big problem for me. I got the 80ml heavy bottle (pictured above). It's a clunky metal housing that is rechargeable. You can open the bottom and pull out the plastic container with the juice inside. I didn't plan on restocking the plastic container, and who knows if you can still buy them. This metal housing does not have a normal push point to spray the juice. You have to squeeze the sides of the bottle to spray......which happens when you simply pick it up and hold it. It drizzles out unless you give it a strong squeeze, which causes it to leak down the front of the bottle. Very annoying. If the smaller size, as the reviewer below states, is just made of plastic, then get that one. The scent is worth it if you find this for a good price. Would be suitable mostly for spring and summer days, and fall would be fine since the dry down is woody.

As expected with the brand, impressive shelf appeal gives way to practical shortcomings, though Titan largely dodges pitfalls facing many Porsche offerings. Linear in nature yet avoiding cheap perfume hallmarks, Titan exudes a slightly sweet cedar character well-suited for colder weather's cozy warmth over standard amber fare. Come winter, expect moderate sillage across eight hours of longevity. While the scent profile lacks an addictive wow moment that risks boring over repeated wear, Titan gets the job done safely year-round. Alas, the trophy-worthy metallic bottle's sprayer sputters a inadequate stream rather than a fine mist, demanding a heavy hand less suited to counterparts. Still, Titan ultimately stands its ground as a quality mass-appealing fragrance, leaving the driver’s seat open for a more daring Porsche release down the road.

This is a fresh spicy fragrance that opens with a blast of mint and grapefruit and settles down to something much more herbal. The opening actually really surprised me; while it's plenty potent, it's not synthetic-smelling or astringent-y, as grapefruit notes can be. The drydown has a nice soft musk along with a crisp cedar, nothing groundbreaking but it's pleasant. It's just an extremely wearable fragrance. Of the "reminds me of" suggestions listed here, it most closely resembles Kenzo Homme Boisee, but this Porsche is a little stronger in the opening (which is good for me, because I didn't get good performance from the Kenzo) with less of a basil note in the drydown. It's perhaps less refined than the Kenzo, though I find it better. Also: the bottle is cheap plastic. No doubt about that. Maybe that's where the low cost comes from? I don't find it to be a problem, though; this is a fragrance I could see myself stashing in my car for freshening up and the low-budget presentation is actually a bonus there.

This is a nicely blended green/woody freshie. I think it will work in all seasons, daytime primarily but is very nice. If I didn't know the brand, I think it would pass as a John Varvatos or a least it seems similar to a few of their offerings. The longevity is actually better than most, for me it's been a decent 7-8 hours before a complete skin scent - not terrible for a freshie! One note on the "flacon" is it's interesting, I both like it and hate it. I think one day I will drop it due to the goofy way you have to squeeze the sides, but it is a bit unique and looks kind of cool. Overall, recommend 8.5/10 good stuff, probably gets discontinued soon.

This smells pretty good once it settles down. Up front you get alot of mint and grapefruit but then after it settles you get a bit of sweetness and some woods. The florals come in to play later also. I was wearing a white t-shirt when I wore this and I would say this matches with light clothes perfectly just like the ad portrays. This is a good fresh scent for warmer weather and cool summer nights. I give this a 8.7/10

This is a good, basic scent for summer. It gives a fresh vibe with the grapefruit, which just smells generic citrus to me. I guess the mint helps with the freshness. Decent longevity for me, The cedar sticks around for a bit. To make it last all day, I like to spray it on a handkerchief, as well as on myself or my clothes. Or in these waning days of COVID, a spritz or two in a cloth mask is nice.

Surprisingly good. Reminds me of a little brighter Dunhill Icon. The mint/basil with pepper is nice and calm but the grapefruit really perks it up. Really great scent and smells better than it's price tag right now by a long shot.

The most intriguing part of this fragrance is the minty, almost mentholated, opening with grapefruit. However, strong mint and grapefruit are a challenging combo and so, after the first attention-grabbing moments, I find myself impatiently waiting for the heart notes to arrive. Once that opening fades out, which happily occurs pretty fast, the heart is a nice, if hardly unique, spicy lavender. The base is a generic, aromachemical driven, woody amber which is just OK and smells like hundreds of other scents currently on the market. So the fragrance is essentially uninteresting, but not unpleasant, considered as a whole. Performance is good. Longevity is meaningful: 8+ hours in most conditions. Projection is moderate. I'd say this scent profile is on the masculine side of unisex. Now, about the presentation: I blind bought Titan because of the way the bottle looked. The design is very Porsche and very cool. Reading several of the prior reviews, I gather some of the bottles don't work very well. I have had no problems with mine. The trigger mechanism is a bit cumbersome to operate, but my bottle has always delivered good sprays. For a while after I got this fragrance, I wore it pretty regularly, but I have lost interest in it and now it mostly sits on a shelf looking interesting. I just wish the scent was as interesting as the container it comes in. If you are looking for a generic fresh woody scent, there is really nothing wrong with Titan, but if you are going to buy it, and money's not super tight, choose the larger size so that you get the cool metal bottle as part of the deal.

First, it needs to settle down before judging. This is a cedar heavy that is appropriate for fall and spring. I'm a huge fan of the cedar heavy Joseph Abboud (original) fragrance. Titan has a strong cedar note as well mixed with my favorite summer note (grapefruit). Do they mix or clash? It's hard to say since they fight to dominate (cedar wins during opening, grapefruit wins in drydown), but I'd like to wear Joseph Abboud a lot more, but it smells very similar to the lumber section of Home Depot. This is a very good fragrance for what it is, and what it's trying to be. It's the best of both worlds, and will be a go to fragrance when I want to smell lumber but not overwhelmed by it. The pepper note is the second most prominent note I sense, and is a major player in this fragrance as well. The sprayer on the 1.7 ounce bottle is one of the worst I've ever experienced, but I already knew this from sampling in the store. The 3.4 ounce sprayer is cool as heck because you press the sides in. If you're looking for a cedar heavy frag that's decent, this is not the scent. This is no Joseph Abboud, but the price was fair, and I wanted to own at least one Porsche Design fragrance. BTW, the Porsche 180 is phenomenal, and I predict will be on a lot of top 10 summer fragrances for 2019. Great blind buy for me. Off my skin I mainly get Grapefruit, Mint and Cedar, the other notes are there but they are subdued for the first 30min. Performance on me is above average with 8-9hrs longevity on my skin and moderate sillage for about 3-4hrs. I feel this is a pretty versatile fragrance that can be worn in Spring, Summer and Fall for most occasions. I really like it and think it's worth giving a sniff.

It's my blind purchase because I don't come across this brand everyday. My biggest disappointment is the bottle. My bottle is leaking badly. It's very cheap all plastic with no weight to it. Oh heck, I'm upset. :( Anyway, the scent is okay. I can see a slight bit of Issey Miyake in this, but with more pungent citrus accord. Anyway, I'm done with my rant. Thanks folks!

It is Porsche, not Porshe. Porsche Design Sport went straight to the discount stores here, it didn't even hit the shelves of stores where other Porsche fragrances are sold. Not sure why. Maybe there is something wrong with the quality? I thought it was an OK scent. It was $25 per bottle. Looking forward to trying this one.
