Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger (2015)

Oh, this to me is a real beauty and quite a special orange blossom centered frag. Actually, there is something in it that almost suggests a yellow floral dimension, as if there was some mimosa in this as well, only it is not listed in the notes. It’s a sophisticated fragrance and also quite mature, it’s definitely not the sparkly-young-citrus paired orange blossom one often finds in perfumery. This is, like others said, almost powdery, only I do not see the “continuation to Infusion d’iris” aspect directly. So to my nose the orange blossom IS prominent and not some sort of a backing note. I find this is perfume has quite a limited evolution and is actually one of those perfumes that smell surprisingly similar on paper / on the nozzle and one’s own skin. And I am very happy about that, because I was delighted from the second I sniffed the nozzle and also, orange blossoms usually tend to get a bit sharp and sour on me. Not this one, which stays perfectly clean, rounded and dignified throughout the whole evolution, and yes, it does have a soapy quality to it too. Feminine, soft soap. Not pungent and aldehydic. Can’t speak about longevity yet, except mentioning that I have sprayed it 2 and a half hours ago and I can very much still smell it. I agree with those who say this is perfect for moderate weather - it can definitely be too much in summer, and it’s not a bright and juicy perfume, but a pastel - airy one, so I think that’s when it fits best. All in all, I appreciate this very, very much. Edit: It has been nagging me for hours, not being able to realize WHAT kind of soap I was smelling. Believe it or not...it’s sulphur soap! It’s just the slightest nuance of a scented sulphur soap, blended with all the other notes. And I, for some weird unexplained reason, love it. Edit 2: this is a chameleon. My mom sprayed it on her arm and it DOES smell like Infusion d’iris + some added citrusness. Very sober, clean, powdery and almost unisex. I thought my nose had played tricks on me so I sprayed it on myself again. Same result as the first time. Bright, soapy orange blossom + some powder. Oh, you little prankster!

I was happy to receive a sample of Prada's Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger, because orange blossom seems to be one of those notes I can never get enough of - it's just a scent that makes me happy, especially in spring. That also means I already have more than enough options in my (decant) perfume wardrobe, though, so I was quite ready to dismiss this one as "nice but redundant to my collection". But no such luck: I found it so delightful that it's going straight to my wish list. A large part of why I like it so much is something AshleyNelson mentions below, although we perceive it very differently: it has a clean, powdery side that definitely echoes the same aspect in Infusion d'Iris, which I have and love. So I personally like the resemblance, and it also brings a certain coherence to the line of Infusions, which is nice. And as for the orange blossom note itself, I think it's lovely. I love the note in all of its interpretations, from sweet and heady to fresh and light, but sometimes I wish the fact that it's a citrus note would be a little more emphasized - and that's absolutely the case here, especially in the very opening, which is light, bright and deliciously fresh in that uniquely citrusy way. Later on the floral aspect of the blossom comes into its own, and at this point it's wonderfully natural and realistic - I even get a touch of something like pollen. And in the background there's always that charactericstic powdery aspect that adds a little complexity and elegance to the fragrance. Longevity and projection are both good as well, but not exaggeratedly so. So full marks, at least in my book. Funny how a fragrance can provoke such wildly different impressions!

My this is lovely to me! I have a mini vial that I had been sniffing, dabbing on my hand occasionally, deeming it not orange enough, and pretty much ignoring it. Well today on a cold November day I went out of character and decided I wanted something clean and fresh, floral since I wasn’t feeling well, and I chose this. It is a lovely, balanced orange blossom, not too sharp, not too soapy. Maybe because of the cold where light fragrances don’t evaporate so quickly, but I could smell this wafting around me for a good 6-7 hours, after which I touched up but probably didn’t need to yet. When I sniffed close to my skin, I couldn’t smell it as well, but it was in the air like a personal cloud. My friend could not smell it on me however, so if anyone is looking for a fragrance with good performance for themselves, but not noticed easily by others, this would be worth looking into. I always wait so patiently through the summer to get to wear my heavy winter spices again in the cold weather, but this is making me want to wear more of the lighter scents in the cold. For sure I’ll be wearing this one more, and may possibly make it my signature.

Longevity: poor Sillage: very poor The juice itself: beautifully elegant, bright, and uplifting. On me it is a true orange flower scent since the first spray till fades away. Definitely beautiful for hot weather but also works great for colder months as well. You can't really offend anyone with any members of the Infusion line (those I own include Iris, Rose, Amande, Mimosa, Orange Flower) they are all meant to be airy, delicate, and feminine - nothing jarring nothing loud. They all have this bright spring morning garden vibes w light fragrance from the natural flowers wafting ever so gently in the air. I actually prefer the simple take on the flowers to the more complex versions of Serge Luten Fleurs D'Oranger (I am among the unlucky ones who get that very strong BO note alas!) and Houbigant Orangers en Fleurs Houbigant (essentially Serge Luten without the BO note) and Montale Orange Flower (the spices in that one smell like tobacco smoke on me.) I don't mind reapplying. I've been deeply in love with all the Infusion babies...

This is an orange blossom scent done right... bright, white floral, slightly citrusy, soapy, sweet and ever so slightly indolic! Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger is my favorite fragrance by Prada for women for sure by a country mile. I smell a hint of the jasmine and tuberose in this too, but the note of orange blossom is the true star here and it really shines. It smells very feminine, spring-like and sophisticated and I could imagine this working for many different types of events during the day. I also ended up getting about 7 and a half hours of wear time on my skin and a moderate sillage, which is quite impressive for an orange blossom perfume for sure. I have quite a few orange blossom perfumes already though like Serge Lutens Fleur D'oranger and Fragonard's Fleur D'oranger Intense, so I refrained from buying this. It is still lovely though and I'd give it an 8.5/10 altogether. I still love Fragonard's Fleur D'oranger Intense slightly more though, since it is even truer to the actual smell of the flower on an orange tree.

I love this and am plotting out how to get a bottle. Yes it is soapy, like all orange blossom scents that don't bury the orange blossom. Orange blossom itself is soapy! I like citrus scents but I don't like them on myself so I have been hunting for good orange blossom scents that don't include much citrus. This and Serge Lutens Fleurs d'oranger have ended up being my favorites, though they are very different. The Lutens has a bit of the funkiness that actual flowers do... you know how you smell a real rose and it almost smells improper compared to its prim distillations in perfume? The Lutens conveys that improper aliveness. But here the Prada goes in the other direction, making the orange blossom very tightlaced, powdery, and soapy. Very much not alive. It smells very clean and sophisticated, like an expensive hotel. It's perfectly balanced and well-rounded.

Genuinely surprised to see tuberose listed? I detest the stuff but didn't catch a whiff of it during my wear test! Kind of surprised to see neroli too, actually. Orange blossom and a little hint of underlaying jasmine is all I got from it personally. I'll keep this review short and sweet by saying this is an impeccable rendition of orange blossom. I didn't think anyone would ever be able to do it as good as Lush but I've been proven wrong! I definitely want to try out Zara's Fleur d'Oranger first as a potentially cheap alternative but it's looking like I'll pick a bottle of this up. :) Silage is INTENSE - definitely use a light hand! Longevity was kind of middling, but these sort of scents usually are. Lasted about 4-5 hours I think?

This fragrance is not just an orange blossoms one. On me, the tuberose and the jasmine are equally strong as the orange blossoms. But it’s beautiful, like the rest of Infusion line! Light, bright, sweet, bubbly, soapy, with a citrusy undertone, Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger has an uplifting quality about it. Elegant and feminine, this scent embodies a walk through a huge garden filled with white florals in full bloom during a sunny, early summer day. The sun shines bright and the flowers spread their nectar in the air, as you walk through them. Not the strongest perfume, but absolutely delightful! And very underrated, like most of the Infusion line.

I have discovered it recently. Great, now I have one more reason to crave spring/summer. :D I can't wait to buy and wear this. I can't help it, I'm a sucker for orange blossom and neroli and both of them can be found in this fragrance and it does the job in a soapy and really clean way. Performance is above average among Prada Infusions. I really love this line, I have Iris, Iris Cedre and Rose and I will be more than happy to complete my collection woth this one.

I adore it! I've gotten a sample many years ago and fell in love with it, and now I have finally bought it. It is bright and uplifting, but also creamy and a bit soapy, very, very elegant. The neroli does not have anything sharp here. I see it as perfect for spring and summer, but I can wear it also in autumn and winter, since it is not too citrussy or sharp and sometimes I crave for clean, soapy, soft scents in colder months.

So divine, fresh, floral, creamy, expensive orange blossom soap, i just love. Clean girl aesthetic of course. Another form infusion line,and I have to say this is my all time favorite perfume, is the ultimate clean girl, the lasting power is ok for me (6. hours), I really love this perfume, if I have to choose one perfume to use in all my life, I'm sure it will be this one. unfortunatly is so dificult to find in my country.

It's so rare for a perfume to entirely live up to my expectations - this one did. I've never smelled an actual orange flower, but this smells like how a white flower made out of the juiciest fresh orange would smell. Dries down to the lovely, soapy Prada Infusion base but never loses that gorgeous citrus-y bite. 100% love it!

This is so so so pretty. Elegant, sophisticated, clean with the perfect amount of soft and gentle sweetness. Blended to perfection. It lasts pretty good on my skin and more than 24 hours in clothes. I adore spraying this on a shawl or scarf and getting whiffs of it all day.

I try this after the Infusion d'ylang ran out, and well yeah it's feels a bit of floral but what I can get this orange had more clean scent just a simple orange blossom and also had a beautiful light of tuberose and jasmine 8,5/10

Nostaliga and elegance Transparent soapy wonderland Prada and Daniela Andrier in another perfect symbiosis. I'm speechless after this soft cloud knoked me out. This is one of the most beautiful scents I ́ve ever come across

Bright, clean, creamy, and a bit soapy. Very well blended with nothing sharp or too pungent. Lasts forever on my skin... seriously, I’m going on 24hrs here. Makes me wonder what the original formulation was all about.

This smells like a powdery orange creamsicle. I love it! Longevity isn't the best, but I think it is worth getting and reapplying every few hours.

Love this summer scent. Not a common scent that you find everyone wearing it. Unique.

Winter Blossom (Daniela Andrier, 2015) Bottle Design: Lalique Orange blossom is a flower that one usually associates with light and airy summer compositions. However, sometimes these gentle flowers could grow in a full-fledged cooler month note. The latter happened in Prada Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger - a relaunched version of the original Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger. This Prada, as it should, opens with strong orange blossom and peppery neroli. The initial blast is fairly strong, and immediately supported by jasmine and tuberose. In fact, the opening is somehow muted orange blossom – neroli - jasmine combo that cancels each other’s known characteristic resulting in identifiable white flower soapy entity. This bouquet is amped up by the purple tuberose, which saves the composition from slipping to flatness and white monotony. These flowers rule for several hours, when they finally let the base notes gradually come into focus. The base is just a tweaked standard Prada’s Infusion base – powdery notes with just a hint of some woods like cedar and Iso E Super. By the description this should be a perfect summer fragrance, but the white flower entity is too strong for summer wear. In fact, it perfectly opens during the colder fall or spring days. Like every note of the entity has an opportunity to finally breathe, and separate from each other. Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger is a standard Daniela Andrier’s creation of Infusion line. Contrary to other members of the family, this Infusion is not so easy to wear. It prefers colder weather, when become a radiant olfactory memento of summer warmth. Rating: 7/10

Absolutely delightful orange blossom and neroli bright and uplifting at the top it doesn't feel super citusy nor green I wish it leaned into that just a tad bit more but still this is very beautiful combination of white floral, it smells pure and innocent and then it leaves a very nice soapy, powdery and clean scent on your skin. It's elegant it's beautiful and poised I'm sure we're all affected by our history and association, I find it funny and interesting how wildly different our association with scent can be, because to me this does not smell like old lady but a baby hahaha. All the granny over here just smell like incense and cigarettes

Atop the Infusion line's signature very soft powder base, this opens with a green and woody sweet orange that is much soapier than its siblings, I guess having a lot more neroli. Compared to Mandarine, which is more flesh of the fruit, this is a whole orange tree. Maison Margiela could rebottle this and call it REPLICA Under the Orange Trees. The drydown retains a lot of that green woodiness, being fairly linear. Moderate projection fades over ~2hr, longevity 12hr+.

I love orange blossom, and was looking forward to trying a sample of this one. At first I was disappointed -- for the first hour, it's difficult for me to tell this one apart from Infusion d'Iris. Maybe Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger is a tad sweeter. But then an hour after applying, the orange blossom emerged! Sweeter, but not too sweet. This one is definitely a Love.

This smells divine, so fresh, orangey and softly floral. Has the same creamy luxe soapy base as infusion d'iris and the other infusions. But it is SO fleeting - it lasts mere minutes on me before fading away and I'm not exaggerating. It is the worst performing infusion of the 7 I've tried unfortunately.

This Prada fragrance is SO fresh and clean! It smells mostly of orange blossom and neroli to me, which makes it perfect for spring and summer. It's not overly sweet or overpowering, just a lovely light citrus floral scent.

Soapy!!! Soapy, soapy, soapy!! Did I say this smells soapy? Cashmere Bouquet soap. Not in a bad way though. No indoles. I enjoy this in the spring.

An elegant and clean modern Eau with the Infusion base and the orange tree flower of a discreet scent for a fine woman.

This is one of the more powdery, soapy and less aromatic/lush/juicy/full-bodied/quenching cistrus flower perfumes I've smelled. Not similar to Son Venïn 3007 or 100 Bon Neroli & Petit Grain Printanier.

this is a very tarte orange scent to me. theres an underlying fresh soapiness to it. doesn't particularly do anything for me but deffo a cute orange scent

Oof. I wonder if I’d like this better if I didn’t already own Jo Malone’s photorealistic masterpiece. As TanaC said, this opens with a blast that smells like toilet cleaner, which fortunately does go away pretty quickly. Unfortunately, it does continue to smell like a bathroom air freshener to me. It’s not a bad smell, but it comes across as very artificial. Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom transports me to a sun-dappled orchard in bloom; this transports me to a bougie store at the mall that’s selling orange blossom scented products. Jo Malone’s fragrances are notoriously poor performers for the price, but considering that this actually costs MORE than Jo Malone, and performs similarly as poorly, I’d rather spend my money on the Jo Malone as it’s a better crafted orange blossom fragrance.

It's funny, those who don't normally like orange blossom seem to appreciate this one and I, who usually adore it, don't feel transported at all. Here, I find an orange blossom without luster, dull, like an old orange blossom that has been dried in a book and found, by chance, a few years later. It is no longer really recognizable, seems faded, dried out. It took on the smell of the book and this mixture of orange blossom and pages aged by time forms a dusty whole which is unpleasant to me. I found this very strange, it's the first time that orange blossom has had this effect on me.

This is a huge disappointment for me because despite the name, the jasmine completely overpowers the orange blossom here. It's just a stark, soapy jasmine scent. I know people hate this descriptor, but it will definitely come off as an "old lady" scent to some.

Dont smell any orange blossom at all. Have orange trees outside our window and there is no similarity at all. This smells like powder and more powder dry dusty soapy powder.. Really dislike this one. First time it append I really disliked a perfume.

Idk if this was just a special 2015 edition, but what they released in the late teens smells like the original notes. Same w the iris. I think they were limited edition releases in 2015 bc they both smell like the notes of their original pyramids.

I liked it for the first few weeks, then slowly started to get sick of the scent. Not very pleasant to wear, for me personally.

(First Impression), When I first got this, my imagination think about Orange valley on the hill. You smell mildly Mandarin, a lot of Orange Blossom and a fresh breeze in the air. Like Orange valley before harvest season. ...This is not. Then I tried to reimagine it as a very fresh oranger blossom instead. Photo realistic kind of way (my personal interpretation of this). ...No, this is still not. The best way to describe this is "Infusion de Orange Blossom" This is exactly the extract only Orange Blossom. In Infusion soapy base as you may know. And the development is a bit confusing. In the opening, it smells a bit cheap like toilet cleaner kind of way. Luckily, it lingers only a few minutes. Then the whole composition takeover by other White flowers but Orange flowers. I smell the strong smell of Tuberose, Moderate Jasmine and only a drop of Orange flower. ... I start to wonder, will this be a bad blind buy... The whole composition is getting in shape 1-hour post-wear. And it is very pleasing. This provides different kinds of fresh. Orange blossom plays a front role provide subtle freshness and mildly sweet. Inhale deeper, you smell reminiscence of Jasmine and a stronger base of Tuberose. It smells like a post-shower using expensive soap. But I can't score this for now, my head is not clear yet. Will get back to this later. ==== Edit 1, April 5, 2023 After sniff, Infusion de Rose. Uhhh....blind buy error. I've been on an orange blossom kick and grabbed this to add to my little collection of Prada Infusions, only hesitating at the tuberose note since I'm not usually a fan. But I figured that it would play a mere supporting role and that it would be fine. Turns out, I don't even like it in the background. The scent itself is...an Infusion. Whisper quiet, clean, somewhat crisp...but it's sweet and has quite a bit of warmth to it. Unlike Iris and Amande, which both read "cool" for the majority of their lifespan, the Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger is making me think of sunbathing. Not in the sweltering heat of summer, but at that point where spring has fully bloomed and the temperature has lost all it's chill, so you can finally go outdoors and bask in the rays. It's pretty, and minus the tuberose I would keep this but...as it stands, I know better. Pity too, as the orange-tinted bottle would have looked so nice next to it's cousins. I have a brand new 100mL I just unsealed *tonight* and only sprayed once. Feel free to PM me.

All of the Prada Infusions are lighter scents. They are delicate infusions - fragrance is closer to aqua fresca than to true parfum. I do get the longevity of a parfum, but not the power. If you have your expectations set to a light, long-lasting infusion, then the entire line becomes more appealing. On paper, this is one I should dislike, and yet, I enjoy it. I don't like cloying notes and orange blossom, tuberose and jasmine can all veer off into the too-sweet-too-endure territory. This fragrance is so well blended that none of the notes is cloying. Instead, this is clean and delightful, and yes, a bit soapy. This is delicate. It's like a fragrant garden in the night air - you notice it, but it's not overwhelming. It has very narrow sillage, and it's excellent for occasions when you want a perfume you can smell but won't offend others.

This spring/summer Im looking to make orange blossom my signature note like I did with vanilla in the winter/fall. I didn’t want to spend too much nor did I want to smell like everyone else so I didn’t go with the typical love don’t be shy and Oriana. Along with this Prada fragrance, I purchased Amo Ferragamo, Mont Blanc Signature & Roberto cavali Signature. I’m going to try layering these with one another and I’m going to look into purchasing an ambroxan such as Juliettes superdose or something from escentric molecule for better lasting power. This smells like candied orange blossoms and candied orange zest. This is sweet and borderline cloying. It is very different from Infusion d'Iris which is bitter and green and feels very powdery and dry. This feels wet and sticky like the nectar of the flower or the residual of an orange-flavored soda. I have to say this is very linear and it does not have much of a transformation. it lacks the verisimilitude that many Prada fragrances have. So this is what orange blossoms smell like in a fairytale. I enjoy it but it's more of a safe or 'no-brainer' pick for me.

To my nose, this smells just like Philosophy Baby Grace, just stronger on the first spray...then disappears completely after an hour or so. I absolutely love Infusion D’Iris, and I have been searching for an orange blossom scent to replace my precious nectar, Le Couvent des Minimes Orange Blossom, which of course, has been discontinued. This certainly is no replacement for that and I was disappointed in it as I had high hopes for this based on my love for the Infusion D’Iris and the quality of Prada fragrances. Glad I only purchased a mini bottle of it.

Is this soapy? It sure is! Do I sometimes want to smell like I just lathered myself within an inch of my life with a high-quality orange blossom soap? Absolutely! I know a lot of people were disappointed with this release, but I enjoy it because I’m not looking for it to be my one and only end-all be-all orange blossom. One could never be enough! This is my sudsy one, and it hits that spot. Orange blossom soap—what’s not to like?

I sprayed this in the air, and on a tester strip & to MY nose this smells reminiscent of walking into a Payless shoe store. Very stark, rubbery factor smell. I still decided to test on skin and I’m shocked to say I had a completely different experience once it mixed with my chemistry. I got the florals, the soapy citrusy clean scent. Still meh in my opinion. This could’ve been blended smoother.

Very authentic orange blossom , fresh and bold , and excellent quality...|I prefer a less citric orange blossom, but for purists this is bright and cheerful..it is overall a blend of beautifully crafted florals, sunny and feminine...would be perfect for warm weather!nothing screechy, the nose is remarkable!! I enjoy her creations!!

I like orange blossom, therefore it's hard for me to dislike this fragrance. In the opening I get a blast of really nice and fresh orange blossom. Later on the scent becomes a powdery mix of white flowers and stays really, really close to the skin. It doesn't last either. Such a shame.

Tart candy orange blossom more like tuberose than orange blossoms to my nose, plus some green stem. I like it a lot, but as it dries, it gets a faint touch of indole and I like it a lot less. Not badly done, but not for me, famous hater of indoles.

sharp opening, dry down very soapy & little powderish, nothing remarkable, something for whom likes soapy, light, close to the skin scents.
