Luna Rossa Eau Sport

Husband has an aftershave called "Dare original". He never uses it, just for disinfecting acne (once in 2 months..). This super cheap aftershave smells exactly like Luna Rossa Eau Sport. I have a sample of Prada's perfume, and after smelling it, we were both like: "we have something exactly like this". And it was that Dare original after shave, which is about 10-15 years old and costed $3-5 for a big bottle, but still smells super sexy. Because Luna Rossa Eau Sport is a really sexy one too. I will buy it sooner or later, but if you just want the same thing for beans, Dare original is as good as Prada as a perfume, because I can smell it after 5-6+ hours. I know, it's not a perfume, but you can use it like that.

This is really good. A very successful blind buy — super safe, to be honest. It’s not a groundbreaker, but it’s solid. Not as much of a hit as Carbon EDT, but I actually prefer this one because I enjoy a more cologne‐style structure instead of a peppery opening. The citron here isn’t as sharp as Issey Miyake or as juicy as Terre d’Hermès Eau Givrée. It’s more tamed by the soapy cleanliness. It sits closer to L’Homme OG, but instead of going floral, it leans into a soft citrus vibe. What really stands out is the airy freshness — not aquatic, not faint, just this clean, weightless aura that floats around you. That’s the real star here, and it makes Eau Sport perfect for hot days or small office environments.

This is pretty similar to the original Luna Rossa but lighter with the orange replaced by citron. Add some ginger too and you get a sportier version. This actually reminds me of the original Dior Homme Sport (not the new one). I swear I can detect Iris in this though it’s not listed. It is a weaker version but that’s expected with sport. You cannot possibly offend anyone wearing this, if you love the Prada line like me then this is a must add to your colllection..

I dont know why but this fragrance has a huge huge projection on my skin..I can smell it stronger than tuscan leather by Tom Ford,I dont understand that but I like it...one of the best summer fragrances and with longevity and projection like this.wwoooow..I put only one spray on my wrist and after 6 hours that was still everywhere 3 feet radius around me...I got a compliment on it after 6 hours I sprayed it.....BEST of LUNA ROSSA collection..definitely

I like this stuff a lot. Perfect for the hot summer days. It stays on you all day but it's a light and bright one that you may not smell but other people will. It has a nice punch of ginger, along with the obvious citrus that everyone is talking about. I had. This on yesterday and my wife said "I don't know what you're wearing but I want you to wear it everyday from now on." Yeah... Not going to happen, but that's what she said.

Lavender, Bergamot, fresh scent with a good dash of vanilla soapiness. I wouldn’t say this is ‘sporty’ at all, and the ‘eau’ makes it sound as if it’s going to be a weak scent whereas it’s actually got really good performance as regards sillage and longevity. I get a hint of Iris though it’s not listed. A subtle scent for day or night, cozy and warm with a cashmere vibe to it. Multisex, Age 20+. Any time Any season scent. 9/10.

AMAZING! Like all Prada, you can expect clean, good quality and versatile. This smells citrusy fresh and clean perfectly blended. EVERYONE likes this. You should definitely re spray through the day so that it lasts but since the smell is amazing it wouldn’t be a problem. Silage is really good. It would be a safe blind buy. 10/10

amazing summer alternative to DH Cologne, with a bit of a twist added to citron (thanks to very subtle lavender), but the performance is terrible, you have to keep the bottle with you and add sparys every 2 hours. so maybe not very economic:) scent, but truly beautiful, I do not regret I bought it... on promo:)

Very pleasant lavender, office safe and great for casual situations. The performance could be better but just spray more, it's so pleasant i don't think it can be annoying to anyone. And the atomizer is so good, it pumps out a lot of juice. With just 4 sprays i have no performance issue.

Love this, very refreshing and clean soapy DNA. Great for the gym or a warm day however I still don't know if I can justify buying more than a decant. The price to performance ratio is a little off. I only get a few hours with this one and moderate Silage at best.

That one is one of the best "sport" fragrances on the market! And for me personal the best! I love lavender and in that one Prada made it smell so nice fresh and natural! You smell clean and beautifull! Great for summer! I love it!

Ok... this one is to my nose 30% Prada l’homme, 30% Luna Rossa and 40% Dior Homme cologne. Very pleasant. Downside? 1hour longevity and 20min mild projection. I’m not kidding you... But I guess Prada is.

WOW I love this fragrance. It is softly sexy and fills the room with a gentle beautiful scent. It is one of the best mens fragrances and I hope it will not be discontinued anytime soon

Got a bottle today. Fresh and masculine fragrance. Smells quite classy and sexy. Performance is ok. I should try the original Luna Rossa also. This house is doing good fragrances.

I think the Luna Rossa line is quite underrated, scentwise. This is beautiful and exquisite! I have to update my review but it's good, albeit seems to be weaker side.

Really reminds me of Chrome. I really liked Chrome back in the day but not sure about how I feel about this retread

Clean, fresh and relaxing. You can smell yourself pretty much most of the time. Amazing drydown as well.

Okay so in terms of the Luna Rossa line this is the least like the others but subsequently the most like many other fragrances out there. So it's 'generic' then? Well...no. I'd say more like 'mildly derivative' because Eau sport does have it's good points. It manages to be truly fresh and lightweight but still had pretty good performance. I think if it hadn't have been light I'd have had a problem with it. The opening is what contains the most of the Luna Rossa original or Sport vibes for me a kind of salty, citrus with a hint of lavender but crucially no white floral or mint. (second time I tried it and you do get mint) Then as it settles it really relaxes into a sweeter fruity, bergamot maybe with a hint of ginger which smells very familiar. I actually thought it smelled like Toy by Moschino which has a very nice citrus vibe which comes across very real. The base of this fragrance is a white musk and hint of ambroxan which I like and serves to propel the citrus and make it long lasting. Ambergris in eau sport would account for the apparent slightly, sea breeze vibes & saltiness you get from Creed citrus fragrances which also apparently contain ambergris. All in all I've smelled it before and even though I'm challenged somewhat by Luna Rossa and Sport (not counting Extreme which is more of an oriental) because they are interesting but this is just a bit of a departure. I think the over all smell is nice and the quality is there, for example I compared it to Toy earlier which I think is much cheaper smelling if I'm honest. Another thing I like about this is that it's not intrusive, it's not weak but it doesn't cloy or catch the back of your throat. Eau Sport would be welcome relief compared to some other designer releases that young men insist on dousing themselves in for a night out. Not bad stuff but not as well conceived as the Original Luna Rossa. Update: Having tried this again I'd say it's a nice bergamot, citrus woody mixed with minty lavender. A perfect mixture of the classic 'blue' aquatic fragrances like Azzaro Chrome given as a smells like suggestion and works just fine, with the signature salty, minty, lavender of the original Luna Rossa.

Been spending the last few days with this frag....and here are my first thoughts. Yes, FINALLY a Prada Luna Rossa I will wear! I've owned/sampled the entire LR line. And honestly none of them really struck a chord with me. They were all pleasant enough, just not my style. Thought the original LR Sport might be a winner upon first spray, but quickly found it irritating and too strong/overbearing with that LR soapy lavender smell of the original IMO. This flanker of a flanker is really nice though! A much fresher and airier scent, with just the right amount of that soapy lavender note in the dry-down. Very well balanced composition, with a nod to the original Sport. Still not sure about longevity or projection yet. Nowhere near are strong as original Sport and I'm ok with that as it seems to hold it's own still. But on scent alone, this is a winner in my book. I can see where those are coming from who have compared this to a better/upscale/modern Chrome/CK One type scent. Update to come.... 5/16 update-The hot weather hasn't hit here yet, but....longevity and projection are definitely on the weak side with this one. Nice scent, but I think for a '16 spring/summer scent I'll be using L'Homme Ultime much more.

Ive toyed with the idea of maybe buying this but didn't bother to pull the trigger because it hasn't really grabbed me enough but that could change in the future. Has a slightly sweetish soapy vibe with a nice smooth ambergris dry down. Nice clean and airy scent with a woody backbone.. Its just hit me now that this is a much fresher version of Mont Blanc legend intense IMO. Not so.much from the top notes but when it starts to mellow.out.. This doesn't have that strong musk and isn't as fruity sweet though and I like this more since its lighter and more airy. I get a melonish vibe in the mont Blanc and can smell it in this one as well when its dried.down. This ones a nice onr for the summer and is fairly inoffensive, could be a great option especially if you dig that fierce,legend DNA..im.curious to know if people get that same vibe and if you have smelt legend intense and fierce and then compare them.to this as well. Also i don't really like comparing fragrances but i guess it helps give a better idea sometimes. nothing worse IMO than hearing someone tell you that said fragrance is like " a bit of this,with a bit of that and half of that mixed with a quarter of that" you get my point.

Luna Rossa line bottle, good. Atomizer, great. I've always liked this line and own almost all. Sport being my favorite. This is very far from that one. Anyway. Opens with the citron/bergamot combo and lavender. Extremely light, summery. The ginger quickly joins as it dries down and then that's where this one loses me. Someone said there's a funk or it's off. I agree. I think the ambergris does not belong here. It isn't heavy and not particularly salty but adds a dirtiness to the fragrance that just doesn't mesh well. Could be the cedar/ambergris mix. It doesn't smell bad, mind you. Just odd. It's overall, though, an extremely inoffensive scent. This one is an absolute dog, performance wise. Lasts an hour, sillage isn't even good in that hour. This is aftershave level and I have some of those that linger longer. Any age, really any situation. Meh. It's alright. Would not recommend paying second hand prices for this one.

Prada Luna Rossa Eau Sport is a nice summer fragrance. My review will compare this one with Prada Luna Rossa Sport. It is very similar to LR Sport with the lavender, but there is a clear citrus opening here which is the main difference between the two. I would say LR Eau Sport is suitable for daytime in warmer weather, whereas Sport is more versatile and works in both cooler and warmer weather. Both have a fresh and clean vibe. Eau Sport doesn't seem to last as long as Sport. If you have Sport, you probably already have another fresh citrus fragrance, so you don't need Eau Sport. If you only have Eau Sport, you don't need Sport unless you want a more lavender-heavy version. I have both of them. Although I like Eau Sport, I'll sell it and keep the Sport since I'm a fan of the "Le Male" lavender/vanilla vibe.

If I hadn't gotten a huge bottle for super cheap, I think I wouldnt enjoy this one as much as I do. I think I paid like 50 USD for a 4.2oz? It's super light, lavender throughout, and extremely inoffensive. I use it for the gym, but it also excels in super hot weather. I have never smelled it on my skin longer than like an hour, but you'll smell shower-fresh for a little bit longer than that. Also, the smell reminds me of something from the 90s, maybe a Claiborne or something? Also idk if this is every bottle but the atomizer is AMAZING on mine. Nice long throw on the button, pressing it down takes almost a second and you get a steady puff until it's fully depressed. Extremely satisfying.

Just a second quickie review here due to the fact I purchased this scent after Christmas when the gift sets are sold off cheap. Wearing this today I'm actually becoming more of a fan, Eau Sport is extremely fresh without being overly brash or intrusive. Fragrantica doesn't state the nose but as far as I know Andrier and Prada haven't parted company so I suspect it's her work and frankly it screams her clean, classy style. It does have elements of the modern which I smell everywhere but Eau Sport is so much more reserved that it allows you to enjoy the experience, without being bombarded.

First wearing today, 25 degree celcius outside. In the range of two hours i already got three compliments :) That never happend wearing the original Luna Rossa. The original is fresh but this is on a whole other level. Spring/summer in a bottle. This is the real Sportflanker from Prada. Prada Luna Rossa Sport is great but I rather use it when the weather cools down a bit, in the fall. If you can get your hands on Luna Rossa eau sport, dont hesitate!

This opens with a refreshing burst of citron, with a twist of dry ginger and woody notes to keep it grounded. (I think I detect some juniper too!) As it dries down, a hint of salty ambergris peeks out from behind the woods, further helping build the fresh aquatic vibe of this scent. This is a pretty good freshie, unfortunately its performance leaves much to be desired - there's barely any projection after an hour of application.

Smell 10 out of 10 Projection 2 out of 10 Longevity 2 out of 10 Like the entire Prada Luna Rossa line this stuff smells amazing but give me a fricken break with the projection and longevity. ugh I'm so pissed this doesn't have more protection because it smells fantastic, an office scent nothing more. Unless you don't mind spraying this 10 times so someone actually notices I'd pass.

This fragrance is the definition of cleanliness and freshness. Very nice scent, with lavender standing out. I find this one to be the best from the series of luna rossa. Just wish it lasted longer. Nevertheless, it fulfills perfectly its cause,that is, it is the most suitable fragrance i have worn for exercising. 8/10

Wearing as the first fragrance of the day, it’s okay. Not satisfactory tho if you have anything else to wear. With that said I found that wearing as the 2nd sotd after any LR save for the ocean series is wear ES secures its keep. Wearing LRS for 9hr then ES for 4-5hr and finish with LrO to bed. Tis a solid day 👍

Summery fresh scent with a nice citrus opening and a strong soapy base. The citrus opening lasts one hour max, and it's a soap bomb for the duration of the scent. It's a very clean soap, a natural soap, not bad at all. If you want a quality soapy, then this is the one for you.

Fresh, clean, soft and elegant. Very similar to Prada Sport, so if you already own that, no need to buy this one too. It is a nice summer fragrance, specially for young man but i still prefer Prada Sport. Anyways, simple but pleasant scent. Final note: 7/10

This is not for you who like to wear a sharp, strong citrus smell that enters the room before you do. It's summery, light, interesting, not overpowering. For you who don't need to scream to get noticed, confident that your good taste and quality will show.

Smells like small lavender garden in breezy morning with slightly humid weather. Clean, airy, watery with floral touch. Projection is average, longevity is a bit below average on me.

Very fresh and guaranteed compliment grabber. I love wearing this one to the gym. It's also quite masculine but without being too overpowering.

To me Prada equals quality Iris of l'Homme, and a good combo of spices and green's of Luna Rossa, so the expectations were high. Unfortunately this release falls a bit short. A summer Eau type of fragrance obviously can't be as heavy as L'Homme Intense, but this one is just weak and barely lasts even for colognes. The note compositions is pretty good however - the combination of delicate, almost flowery citrus notes on top, lavender, and strong soapy ambergris, give it that ethereal puffy soapy aura that comes just close enough to hint "Iris" but never does. It works surprisingly well, but doesn't hit as hard as other Prada releases. It's fine but given the price, it's hard to recommend.

To my nose something about this just smells... off. Like the lavender and citron are fighting with each other, the ambergris is barging in and throwing a few punches as well, and no one's emerging unscathed. There's nothing clean or light about this for me; it's heavy and a bit dirty and doesn't make much sense, like each individual element belongs to a different fragrance. It improves over time, but it's hard to overlook such a rowdy opening. Weirdly unbalanced and confusing, especially for Prada.

Smells a bit generic, like a very generic fougiere, dries down very clean laundry and soapy. It is very fresh citron forward, the lavender is fresh and quite masculine leaning. It stays fresh all the way but fresh in a little bit of a boring way. Longevity is poor. meh.

I have many fragrances from Prada and they are great, this one is the most un Prada of the bunch. I guess this is their Dior Homme Cologne, even the atomizer resembles Dior on this one. I love all the others from this line but I will not be buying this one again.

Anyone else get a reformulated Joop Nighflight vibe from the opening? Both it and this share bergamot, lemon, amber and lavender, so clearly similarities. I don't hate it, but you do need the 125ml bottle, as it's sooo mild. Boring and mild enough to perhaps never get a compliment. Blind-bought this...like/not love...wouldn't buy again...waste of $, lol Sold this at a loss, but lesson learned. Isn't worthy of being a flanker as it has nothing to do smell wise with the sexy original luna rossa and sport. I tried to gift this to friends who didn't even like it...called it "s--t", "fake", "that's not prada", LOL and it was from a TJX store. LMFAO.

Fresh and masculine (slightly sweet in base) lavender bomb, opening is the best part with citron, bergamot and ginger. I miss those notes in drydown thou. But isn't that boring? Where is the 80's where each fragrance had its own character and aroma. This trend is going for far too many years Especially with summer releases.

I love the prada luna rossa range! However, this is a let down it just doesn't work. It smells cheaper and more synthetic than it should. It's not terrible, it's just not good enough to be in the prada line. It reminds me of the cheap pharmacy fresh fragrances you can buy. Don't rush out to buy it, get the original luna rossa instead!! That is a modern masterpiece

Smells terrrific on a card and initially on my skin. I love how Prada has so many iterations of this scent profile.. Featuring amber/ambergris/amberwood with lavender and another unique prominent note. This one uses citrus well and os aptly named. This fresh and clean with a airy sweetness.. It is a great daily driver scent and possibly good for the gym. It projects well but only for a short time which explains my dissapointment. In general though, the Luna Rossa line has impressed me overall. Its worth trying if yiu can find a good deal on it.

This is really nice in terms of smell. Better than original LR which has bit cloying orange note and it has too little brightness. Eau Sport is lighter but also bit woodier (noticeable cedar) than original Luna Rossa and has "nothing to do" with Luna Rossa Sport which is heavier vanilla tonka bomb. LR Eau Sport is maybe the best in line to my nose but certainly week on projection and longetivity. Carbon is also nicely blended but ambroxan isn't at all my thing.

I would say this fragrance smells like lemons in aftershave form. It doesn’t have much else to it and once the citrus smell has drifted that’s pretty much it. It’s not necessarily a bad smell for example I would wear it on a hot day to the gym as it is not going to overwhelm but other than that it has not much other use. Unless you enjoy smelling like lemons for about an hour:/
