Don’t let the name fool you, this is not an oceanic scent. Luna Rossa Eau De Parfum surprised me right from the start. It opens with this beautiful dark, spicy and slightly fresh grapefruit, mixed with amber that adds warmth and depth. It’s not your typical bright or synthetic citrus, it’s fresh but has a little edge to it, and honestly, it smells amazing! After that opening, the grapefruit settles down, the fragrance moves into a woody and incense territory, still a bit spicy. There’s something powdery and balsamic here that feels classy and smooth, like you’re discovering different layers the longer you wear it. It’s got that quiet confidence, not loud, but definitely intriguing. The drydown is my favorite part. The scent turns woody-vanillic, with a touch of sweetness that balances out the spices and woods perfectly. The vanilla isn’t too sweet, it’s elegant and masculine, just rounding everything out nicely. Performance is great, I get around 7–8 hours, and even after that, I can still smell it on my skin. The projection starts off pretty good, then becomes more intimate as it dries down. It’s not a room filler, more of a elegant skin scent that draws people in. I got this as a blind buy gift and had never smelled it before, but it ended up becoming my signature scent. I honestly love how versatile this is. You can wear it to work, school, or just every day, and it always fits. It’s clean, masculine, and easy to wear. Perfect for spring, summer, and fall, though maybe a bit too light for winter. Overall, it’s a classy, modern fragrance that doesn’t scream for attention, it just quietly impresses.

Oh boy what a fragrance! When you smell it first, you can easily think that this is just another moder and trendy ambery-vanilla perfume. But!!! If you go deeper, switch off your tik-tok brain that gets distracted every 20 seconds to a new stimulation, and get deeper into the fragrance... Oh boy... This has so much to offer So imagine that "Prada thing" combined with high tech, up to date molecules. Powdery, fresh and clean Prada accord with insanely smooth and well done ambery modern high tech base. Good God, this is crazy well done and addictive! Opening is very clean and slightly powdery. It shares the original Ocean dna. The dry down reminds me of Leyton but not that sweet and thick. It is more smooth and somehow transparent. It also shares some similarities with Code Absolu. There is a saffron accord in it that gives it slightly tobacco smell without that typical metallic tone of saffron. It is just so smoothly done. Also little bit of incense undertones but again, it is melting with the rest if the notes so smoothly... Projection and longevity are very satisfying for me. 8hrs with strong to moderate projection. Love it.

definitely a more masculine scent based on the opening, but dare i say i think its also a lovely unisex fragrance!! the delicate vanilla and grapefruit complement the fragrance blend very nicely, preventing the muskiness of the woods and incense from being overbearing. the ratio of each note's potency is very balanced, the vanilla is able to be detected even in the intensity of the wood, which is why i think it's so charming. i feel that a lot of mens fragrances tend to be so overbearing and just a musky mess which is why i find this fragrance so refreshing. considering how vanilla is often marketed as a feminine scent, i really appreciate how this perfume isn't afraid to incorporate such an exquisite scent, that is often seen as more feminine. pleeeeaaaaaseeeeee we need more vanilla in men's fragrances!! Luna rossa ocean eau de parfum is a very intense scent, like a dark and mysterious ocean with vigorous waves crashing over one another. the vanilla settles into it like seafoam, though the ocean waves don't overpower the seafoam, they flow accordingly to the tide.

The name Ocean here is a bit misleading, there isn't really a ocean-esque quality to this scent but, like other blue fragrances there's a familiarity across the entire note profile, but a uniqueness worth making room in your collection for. It opens with a burst of energetic grapefruit, perfect for a summer day, which fades fairly quick leaving behind a smooth musky vanilla base that adds a cozy and comforting touch for cooler weather, with a hint of iris amidst the smokiness of incense, reminiscent of JPG Le Male Le Parfum, that make it a perfect all around fragrance. This scent reminds me of a more sophisticated and mature version of Versace Eros EDP. Making is suitable for any occasion, whether it's a casual day out, a night at the club, or a formal event. The longevity and projection of Luna Rossa Ocean are good but not overwhelming, as expected from a EDP. 5 Sprays can easily last throughout the day without being overpowering. Overall, this is a hit and one I am glad to be giving a new home

Now, this is the Prada I’ve grown to know and love! This is what the original Prada Ocean should have been. The original tried too hard to match Dylan Blue, BDC etc.. and, in my opinion, did so unsuccessfully. Dylan Blue and BDC are much better. This flanker is deep, rich, and mesmerising! I’m very happy with this purchase an excellent blind buy! The performance is way better than the original. Projection is moderate, but longevity is quite good. Anyone within your vicinity will smell you. In other words, you’ll have a nice scent bubble around you. It’s compliment-worthy if that’s what you’re after. Luna Rossa Ocean Eau de Parfum is a worthy purchase, even if you already own the original; it wouldn’t be a superfluous purchase. For me, I’ll have to purchase a backup bottle, it’s that good. Winter is almost over here in Australia, and I’m looking forward to seeing how this performs in warmer weather. It smells as though it would shine! 10/10

I think this is fantastic in every way. I see what Prada did here, and I like it. They tried to make a fragrance that typically is worn in cooler temperatures, and formulate it to be a year round addition to the line. The vanilla and woods is usually something associated with cooler weather, but to make it a moderate projection of a classy scent, makes this a great addition to the line. This happens to be a fairly long lasting, but moderate projection, that can easily be worn to the office, or on warmer days. Maybe not super hot days, but you could certainly rock it in a reasonable warm summer day, and not have it be cloying. This is also a fairly mature frag, but could be worn by younger guys as well, but it is not a sweet monster projection frag. I'm not a fan of the new Le Parfum, but this one I think is fabulous, and I'm glad they expanded the line. Now, if we could get a new L'Homme, that would be stellar. 8.5 out of 10.

This is heavenly. I thought the EDT was amazing...this is perfection! Sweet, spicy, slightly smoky, grapefruity vanilla...everything that "Dylan Blue" should have been. This is perfectly in-between "Dylan Blue" and "Invictus Victory" and carries ALL the awesome aspects of both fragrances...this is precisely what i've been trying to make by combining various amounts of those two fragrances and yet couldn't. Prada already did it...and perfected it. OMG this is so perfect!! S-O P-E-R-F-E-C-T!! Appears to last a LOT longer than the EDT version as well. This just got bumped up into my top 5 frags...possibly of all time. I don't know what it is about "Dylan Blue" that aggravates my sinuses and makes me sneeze...but I don't think I'll be going back to it. Definitely need to schedule a backup bottle of this...wow...this smells so unbelievably good at all points in the wear. Absolute "10 out of 10" fragrance!

I love this fragrance. I know it's a designer, it's basic, it's modern. It's still great to my nose. I tend to enjoy heavy smokey, sweet frags, but it's very hard for me to enjoy lighter frags for the warmer seasons. LRO EDP has the incense, the vanilla, the wood. Beautiful frankincense and citrus blends fantastically well with the vanilla and amber, yet it's much lighter than a typical frag with these notes. This is truly a stunner, very elegant and light enough that it can be worn year round. I have over 100 frags in my collection, and this is one of maybe 3 that can be worn any time and for any occasion. It's one of my favorite dumb reaches on those days where I can't decide what to wear. Long lasting even though it sits relatively close to the skin. I highly recommend this fragrance. Can't wait to buy more since it's finally starting to trickle onto discounter sites. It's simple, but it's great.

It’s been said many times that this is not a typical “Blue” fragrance. But I’m not sure there is a rule or ingredient requirement for Blue type fragrances. This could have been called Dark Ocean and maybe make more sense. When I was in Dillards I compared the to Most wanted by night, very similar but I preferred Prada. This has a simple note breakdown and is not a linear fragrance at all, from opening to dry down it really changes. On the long hall dray down you get a woody vanilla, slightly cedar smell, that is warm and inviting. Pretty good for all year, but not recommended for really hot summer days, in air conditioning just fine. It’s not a beast, but has a nice scent trail and on me it lasts all day, over 8 hours, but becomes more intimate halfway through the day. It favors an older crowd due to the woodiness, but younger guys might enjoy this too. For me this is a solid 8 out 10.

I wear this as my daily fragrance. Lasts long 7-8 hours, doesn't project much which I enjoy for a daily wear. It smells very different from the EDT version. It is a clean, fresh scent that leans sporty and refined. I find it perfect for everyday without being overpowering. It opens with a bright crisp blend of citrus and herbal notes. By no means is this a bold perfume, it is very subtle but still gets many complements from women. That being said, this is one of the only fragrances I have yet to receive a compliment from a man. The projection is moderate and within a few hours I find it settles closer to the skin. The longevity is good, I apply once in the morning and can still smell it after 7-8 hours. One downside is that I find if I wear it before going to the gym I can almost certainly not smell if after having worked out. For a subtle daily fragrance I highly recommend it.

Living in a warmer climate, it’s a fine balance between performance and longevity. Trust me The west African heat will test your fragrance to the core. Too light and it’s fleeting too heavy and it’s cloying. Now this is where LRO Edp shines, it’s versatile enough for those constantly shuffling between two extremes during the course of the day between 16*C air conditioned spaces and the 35*C outdoor heat which is often humid. This is the typical workday for most people in this clime. Here, LRO Edp outperforms most blue frags or citrus forward frags. It’s in offensive and versatile. Great for typical air conditioned indoor work spaces, and casual outdoors, and for the cool rainy days and evenings. It becomes powdery giving off some Dior homme and Armani code type of vibes, but it’s just in its own league. Love it!

I honestly don't know how anyone could not like this fragrance, it's not super complex with a lot of notes, but the notes that are present are all of phenomenal quality and blended together so well. It starts off with a light grapefruit and vanilla, as it dries down it becomes lightly woody with amber and a touch of incense. This is an absolute winner for all seasons and occasions. I prefer this to the Bleu De Chanel line, they aren't similar on scent profile, but they are similar for the types of use cases that they suit. This is my favorite fragrance to put on when I just want something simple and relaxing, great dumb reach and my favorite on the Luna Rossa line. It's beautiful and sophisticated without being overly complex and stands out in an ocean of generic blue scents. This is honestly a 9/10 frag to me!

Picked this up over a year ago. Here are my honest thoughts A juicy grapefruit opening that smells like being underwater for 2 mins and finally coming back up to get a breath of fresh air To me though, the grapefruit fades after about 1-2 hours and the vanilla and frankincense comes out, along with the amber xtreme. So many people are saying this is too synthetic, but they are just hating old heads it smells rlly good, defo not a summer scent, any other szn it will be amazing in. LOVE this scents dry down, it smells like how I would imagine when the drums come in to smell like in 90210, or bags end in the lotr, iykyk Lasts 7-8 hours for me even during heat, lasts forever on clothes, but its mainly the vanilla and amber xtreme still coming through 9.2/10

A nice, mass appealing fragrance that gets compliments. scent breakdown - In the opening you get lightly spicy amber and a hint of grapefruit. Although it is listed as the main note in the opening, I don’t think the grapefruit is particularly strong. Any traces of it disappear after 10 minutes. As it dries down it becomes a woody, slightly spicy, slightly airy vanilla scent. The dry down is my favourite part and it smells masculine. It isn’t a very sweet vanilla, a more woody and manly take. personal thoughts - I love this. Excellent value for money and I wear it through spring and autumn. performance - I get 6-7 hours with moderate projection. rating - 8.9/10 when to wear - It is pretty versatile but I wouldn’t wear it in the deep winter or summer.

Even though I've recently been indulging in niche colognes, this bottle has become a daily-wear for me. Prada ocean is a masterpiece of a scent with one of the most versatile smells I've ever smelt. When I bought this bottle, I originally bought it to be a winter cologne but it did not take long to realize this bottle can be worn at anytime in the year. Opens up to a dark vanilla and fruity scent and dries down into a woody, grapefruit scent. I've had coworkers say they enjoy the smell from over 6 feet away, so the projection is quite high. My only issue with this cologne is the longevity being on the lower side. A couple more sprays and that problem is fixed. Overall, I give this bottle a 9.5/10.

My favorite dumb reach. This fragrance works for any scenario, any season. Shines in the heat, but warm and woody enough for the extreme cold. Opens with fresh crisp grapefruit and vanilla and settles to a beautiful wood with some light incense notes. The Amberextreme is an extremely interesting note, it's in the LRO LP too, and it gives a sensation of being by a pool of chlorinated water. This is a perfect summer fragrance for people like me that prefer sweet, dark scents and struggle to find ones they like for the warmer months. Very simple fragrance, but beautifully executed. This was my first Prada frag, and the only one I have gone through a full bottle of so far. 9/10

There is a note in this, as well as in LRO Le Parfum that can only be described as ethereal! I can't even put it into words, it's almost like it ignites something in the olfactory; a sensation more than an actual aroma. It's beautiful and faint, yet assertive. I am assuming it's the AmberExtreme. The notes over it don't need to be complex in order to deliver an indescribable euphoria I get when I smell this. There's something that's at the same time nostalgic, comfortable, and familiar, yet so different, bold, and alluring. You really need to get a few wears out of these frags to truly grasp and appreciate it. I hope other users get to have the same experience with it.

I am a huge fan of this stuff. It really surprised me at first. I think it is my favorite ocean flanker. It's sweet, a little fresh, and has a slight (but noticable, the perfect amount I think) lipstick iris thing going on like the dior hommes or Code Parfum or EDP. Such a clever and creative composition. This is a good one to smell unique and super good. I can see the comparisons to Le Male Elixir too in literally the flavor of the way it smells, but it is nowhere near as over the top. It has a classier vibe to say the least. This one should be safe for the office if you limit your sprays. I still need to try it on a few people but so far I really love it lol.

Somehow, this is a Prada DNA style fresh... gourmand. Not photo realistic gourmand but it's a clean dessert. A wearable gourmand. A good masculine warm, ambery, woody vanilla but it's not memorable. The opening is the best part so make sure you wear this on skin before a full purchase. Not sure why this is rated Summer safe, maybe in some climates but sure as shit not here in Florida. It's very sweet and warm. It reminds me of MMM Replica by the Fireplace but in a more designer, less realistic sense. or like Warm Vanilla Sugar from B&bw made masculine. Odd name. and this does NOT smell like the EDT. boring but I do love it as a masculine vanilla.

IT DEPENDS. If you don’t own many fragrances this is a good pick up. Good for anytime, anywhere, any season. If you have a decent collection you may have something that smells similar or will want to continue looking for something more unique. The dry down on my skin smells like a combination of PDM Layton and Armani Code, leaning more towards Layton. But not nearly as strong or sexy. I’ve only tried it in stores so not too sure about longevity, but I ended up picking the EDT over EDP because I don’t own anything similar to the EDT. I wouldn’t buy this at retail but if you can get it for around $70 from a discounter it’s worth it.

This is good! Can be worn all season, day or night. Maybe less on a hot summer day (but can be worn on a summer night!). But super versatile in my opinion. Will get the compliments for sure! I think i would wear this more if I want to impress on a summer evening, but I would also wear it whenever too! It smells unique and yet at the same time it smells like a generic super likeable perfume. It gives me similar vibes as blue de channel even though they both smell different. In my opinion, if you want blue de channel but a more unique, less commonly worn version of it, this would be a good option.

This fragrance, I smelled the edt version and I liked it but I accidentally got this one instead cause they look the same and now i'm glad I did because this is so good. Opening is very sweet vanilla and woody then the dry down is, sweet vanilla, woody, slightly fruity, and amber. It lasts super long, most of my other fragrances I can't smell on myself after like an hour but this one I smell all day and the sillage is very good. Very good for winter and fall as it is very sweet and woody. Very good for the price you can find it on jomashop for 100$.

Opening is like a dark version of bubblegum, then the scent becomes a smoky vanilla to me. This is my everyday school scent for fall and winter. Smells clean and pleasant, wish the grapefruit lasted a bit longer. Personally I wouldn’t wear this if it’s too hot, apart from that, it’s very versatile. Something that boosts my confidence when wearing it is just the bottle itself; it looks so classy. If you want a peaceful and chill scent that won’t bother anybody and is versatile, then this is the perfume for you.

The best vanilla I have come across so far. So soft. Smells so natural - unlike a lot of other vanilla scents. Nice amber to go with it. Great for all seasons except extreme heat. Longevity is on par for a Prada fragrance. I do 5 to 6 sprays and I still get whiffs all day long. It seems the performance gets better as you use it. I have the EDT as well. It started out pretty weak, but now lasts longer after a couple months of testing. This one is definitely my favorite of the Luna Rossa Ocean line.

Dann... I am obsessed with this molecular, deep, synthetic, crazy well blended, modern and sexy scent. Honestly, this is so interesting and addictive. I didn't like it at first but gave it another chance two years after and ended up loving it and buying a bottle. Imagine a Prada twist on the Layton dna, plus some up to date synthetic modern aroma chemicals and the original LR Ocean dna, blended so smooth together. That is how I can explain this fragrance. Love it

This is my favorite of the three Ocean fragrances barely inching out the Le Parfum. The creaminess in this one is not as rich as the opening vibe I get from Le parfum but remains more persistent through the whole wearing. The vanilla notes creep to the front of the composition somewhere in the middle of the mid and mix so nicely with the creaminess that on my skin gives a orris root vibe which I love. Definitely a great reach and glad to have in the collection

This was a birthday gift for me in 2023 and I liked it at first, but now I love it. Gets as many compliments as something like Sauvage, but keeps you from smelling like everyone else. If you have the edt, this is more of a nighttime or cooler weather fragrance than that. I would never wear the edp on a hot day as it smells pretty rich and sweet with the vanilla and warm ambery woods. I’d rate this an 8/10 as a compliment-getting designer fragrance.

I got a free decant of this at Sephora and fell in love with it, the ocean title is so misleading as this is literally a sweet fragrance and gives 0 ocean vibes at all, if you can get this for like $80 3.4 oz it's worth the $. Decent longevity, spray on clothes tho and it'll last even after washing your clothes. Top 3 Prada right here, and the other ocean edt should be illegal worst lasting cologne ever don't make the mistake of buying the edt!!!

As far as blue fragrances go, this is pretty mid. synthetic grapefruit off the top, and a subdued and more balanced scent on the dry-down. for my nose, the grapefruit sticks around throughout the longevity, and only diminishes once the whole scent is about gone. don’t buy it, it’s not worth the price and it’s not unique. this DNA is done better by other standard blue fragrances out there. Scent: 6/10 Sillage: 7/10 Longevity: 5/10 Overall: 6/10

I wouldn't call this a blue fragrance personally. It's very vanilla-heavy and woody, with some amber in the background. Kinda reminds me of Azzaro The Most Wanted Parfum with an added amber accord; seems too heavy for hot weather. That being said, this smells amazing. It's fairly mature for a vanilla-dominant perfume, but not too much so. It performs quite well, with decent strength and good staying power. Very blind-buy safe.

Smells great. Reminds me of the original. Sweet but not cloying. Versatile, inoffensive, alluring.. Honestly, the scent is near perfection for me. Definitely woody amber and vanilla, but there's nothing heavy or resinous. The olibanum adds a subtle, smoky flavor. Wish it projected more and lasted longer. However, some people seem to be getting good results in those categories, so maybe I'm going nose blind to this one.

This is a smooth powdery vanilla paired with a cool amber, also has these secondary accords of fresh spice, which gives this fragrance a very clean, classy, and mature profile that is office friendly, and super versatile even as a signature scent; all the elements combine to create a rich almost leathery accord. At its core it’s an Amber Vanilla fragrance but this one stands out for it’s masculine, balanced nature.

Bought a $60 50 ml bottle at Ross when it could be found cheaper smh. Anyway, smells like straight vanilla bean. It has a soapy feeling to the scent early on but within minutes it turns into straight vanilla with some amber. Best comparison imo is Mercedes club black with way less amber and more cut through vanilla. Save your money and get that instead of you're trying to save money. They literally smell identical.

After smelling the ocean line, i had to buy the EDP, it’s soo good!! I bought it because i wanted a signature fragrance i can wear to work, good for all seasons, fresh, a lil sweet (i love vanilla), engineered to be liked (as with most mainstream designers/i would not call this generic however) and has a nice classiness. Definitely at the top of the “blue” fragrance list. No ragrets. Over spray safe

This fragrance is absolutely my favorite in my collection. It's a very soapy and clean smelling fragrance. The first day I wore it, I got compliments from others on it. It's a very inoffensive smell, and can be considered a crowd pleaser imo. A little pricey, but it's definitely worth it. Performance is good, however I wish it had a bit more sillage. 9/10

Insanely pleasing scent with all around good performance . Could be worn anywhere anytime . Lasts around 6 hours on my skin without inducing headaches on people around me because of its intimate nature . Don't expect a person standing further than 1 m away to catch it but it will be a sweet surprise for any trying to get closer mby for a hug .

I’ve worn it about 3 times now to work. It opens smelling just like ocean but after about 45-60mins it goes in its own direction. I definitely smell a good amount of vanilla sweetness. Everyone in my department at work seems to like it. It project pretty well but on my skin lasts about 6-8 hours. All in all, I think it’s a really good scent.

Got a sample of this and picked up a bottle as soon as I could, this is a beautiful sweet and warm amber scent with a blast of juicy grapefruit in the opening that quickly fades, I love the dry down the most and I can’t wait to pull this one out in the cooler weather. It’s non offensive, mass appealing, and definitely worth gatekeeping.

Grapefruit opening which gives way to a lovely creamy vanilla ice cream scent. It's like the Invictus Victory EDP Extreme but without the peppery notes. To me it's similar to boss the scent magnetic but removing the fruity maninka and peppery notes again. In short, lovely creamy powdery vanilla with a short citrus opening.

Got my hands on a sample of this and I really like it, simple but effective designer fragrance, a nice sexy woody fragrance that is versatile and can be worn all year (maybe not the summer cause I live in Arizona 😭) great longevity and seems to project decently, I think I will be getting myself a full bottle, 9/10 for me.

My favorite fragrance without question. Blows my mind from top note to bottom. I get asked what I’m wearing and complemented about it often. I only spray it twice on my chest and it can carry pretty far, having been chased down to be asked. It is stronger than people think imo reading some of the reviews.

Just wow. The grapfruit and then the dry down to that cozy vanilla is just perfection in a bottle. Overall an amazing fragrance, safe blind buy. You can rock it all year really. The best from the line IMO. The performance could be better BUT not bad at all. Just not a BEAST off a projecter. 9,5/10

very nice very clean yet playful with a sweet hint perfect for summer! a summer frag with a touch of sexiness to it so it works great a day to day fragrance yet mature enough and sexy enough for it to double for a date night (summer only/hot weather)

Was a little unsure based on initial note profile how this would turn out, but this done really well Prada way - classy, modern, respectfully a little touch reserved (a bit like Black) - but perfect for the middle seasons - quality, smell good stuff.

This stuff just works. I can wear this any time of the year, anywhere and I’ll get a compliment multiple times a day. Every time I wear it to work (hospital) people compliment me 8 hours later. Top 10 for me in my 200+ collection

Gotta be one of the best designer everyday sweet scents ever made. The longevity and sillage on this are perfect, and for such a good price I think this is a staple for any collection. Wish I had a full bottle again

For me personally, this fragrance is superb. It has good smell. Girls love it. Maybe its better for night than the day but its for all around use. If u like very versatille fragrance then this is for you.

mmm . this smells so good to me I bought it for myself . I don't get any grapefruit just a fresh vanilla amber. Signature scent worthy and year round. I have the edt and prefer the edp.

Really great scent, the dry down is woody but synthetic in a good way, it reminds me of when i bought my desk, that smell of new wood furniture, same for Prada luna rossa le parfum
