Luna Rossa Ocean Le Parfum

Baffled by this currently having a mediocre score. Even more baffled by a complaint of this not being strong or long-lasting. As of now, Prada Luna Rossa Ocean Le Parfum is the strongest fragrance I've ever worn, with the exception of only Dior Sauvage Elixir. Projection and sillage are huge with only 2 sprays. It can faintly be smelled on my skin, after having scrubbed it off, and over 24 hours having passed. It also lasted about a week on my shirt, which only indirectly got sprayed with a single spray, when I tested it at Macy's initially. If you tested a sample of this and it was weak, it seems pretty obvious you got a bad sample. As it happens, on that first testing of it, I was unimpressed. Because I didn't wait for the drydown before making a judgement. The opening is equal parts lemon and spice to me, fading into a red Cola scent in the middle, and then a deep, woody, warm, spicy drydown that is just magical. Just like how I judged it very quickly on the opening - I feel like many reviewers did the same, because the main notes here are not like Spicebomb Infrared. This is very, very strongly reminiscent of exotic wood. In fact, this smells exactly like freshly-sawn rosewood. Which is one of my favorite smells ever, so obviously, this is amazing. This is one of the most masculine, smooth, woody fragrances I've come across. I will say, the fact that this is an "Ocean" flanker, like many have said, doesn't make any sense. It's nothing like the original, and not at all "aquatic". Nothing whatsoever in here is stirring up ideas of "Ocean". This far, far from the ocean and deep in an exotic lumber yard. Despite being very strong, the composition is smooth as silk, and I actually think this fragrance is fairly versatile. It's also very unique. This particular (main) note of crimson-scarlet exotic woods, I've never smelled in another fragrance. It's remarkably strong, very long lasting, super masculine, gorgeous, woody scent. The only thing not to love is the high price. Scent is a 10/10, but considering price, I'm giving it a 9/10.

Let me start this review by saying that this Prada Fragrance is one of the nicest smoky amber fragrance released in recent years, so get it while you can before it gets reformulated or discontinued. Once you spray it you are greeted with a bold confident smoky and professional scent profile. The fragrance is very impressive. It starts off smelling of smoky floral amber like you would smell in Mugler Pure Havane only a bit heavy on the smoke and less on the lactonic tobacco amber combination. This is also quite dry and woody. Once the dry down approaches you get woody smoky side mix with a soapy dense amber and slight nuances of spices create a fantastic scent signature that I have not smelled in many fragrances. This dry down is the reason I think this fragrance is absolutely fantastic. The fragrance definitely smells more mature as compared to Ocean EDT or EDP which is targeted towards a more younger crowd. I would say that this fragrance is more suited to a 40+ well put together and well built person who is very confident in social and professional settings. The only downsides I can see in this fragrance is the very steep price point and maybe the lack of versatility. I wouldn’t recommend wearing this to a first date for instance, you need a more friendly fragrance for that. Autumn and winter would be my seasons of choice and I would prefer to wear this during cold evenings. Performance is on the stronger side and if you wear it on your jumper or coat it is nuclear, both in silage and projection. You will easily get 8 to 12 hours of longevity with a couple of sprays on your skin and even longer on fabric. In a nutshell, this is a masterfully crafted high quality fragrance that smells incredible and would serve the collection of an experienced connoisseur quite well. This fragrance grew on me from being good to great. I give it a solid 8.5/10, this is one of the most exciting recent releases in my opinion.

How does this get the hate? Is it really only because it's an "ocean" flanker, that doesn't have the ocean? For my nose, none of the 3 have the smell of the "ocean" anyway, so what does it really matter? Regardless, I'm happy with it, and I scored it for only $75 bucks too. Lol. Happy camper over here. The opening has a very very slight citrus, but immediately it's a saffron bomb, something my fairly large collection is lacking, so that part is nice. After a while it tames more into a cooler weather spicy vibe with the woody side of it showing itself pretty well. Regardless of anyone else's review, I wore this in 80 degree heat today, as when testing it, the saffron/lemon combo, really provides a fairly fresh experience, with a bit of a darker undertone, for me, I'll rate this one for the summer as well, but that rating comes provided the weather is cooler outside, and it definitely works best in the evening at that point as well. Longevity is good, I'm 9 hours in with a wear of this, and it's still present on skin, and still fairly strong on clothes right now, probably dies around the 11-12 hour mark for the most part. Sillage is also good, better than most reviews for me, I ended up rating it as "strong" as this definitely was not moderate on me, it could have been that it was warmer today, but all in all, I can't help but to feel this isn't as moderate as the site reviews say. All in all, is it forgettable? Nah, it'll get use from me... Like I said, I don't have really any stronger saffron fragrances, and this one you can smell the saffron in from the moment you spray it, til the moment it's gone, and I actually REALLY like that about it. Y'all can sleep on this all you want, but for me it's pretty damn good. Maybe not at full retail, again I scored it for $75 so at that price, this is EXCELLENT.

The best out of the Prada line of fragrances. This definitely isn't only lemon, saffron and wood, no this has much more depth in it which i find it sexy and alluring, this sets the standard of dark fragrances. For me the most crucial part of this parfum is that it is one of those special underrated fragrances that makes you feel special because in the room, people are wearing your known generic fragrances that everyone has but you are the spotlight of that room, such great fucking depth this fragrance has. I am definitely getting more than the pyramid described, amber, sweetness maybe vanilla or caramel, more forest going on, it is definitely on the greener side on the dry down, it is definitely a sweeter dry down then i imagined it to be, i get iris, lavender as well, it is such a great frag. The weirdest part is that, i wasn't impressed at the start at all, i had a feeling that i won't like it but the dry down is magic, very sexy parfum that says to you: yes, i am here i will be in the bed tonight for you, i say this rarely but this is confidence in a bottle, bravo to the perfumer for creating this masterpiece, well done. Note that this is not oceanic at all hence the name Ocean, but i tell you it is better then i imagined to be. This is definitely not for everyone, it is a sophisticated fragrance that needs time to settle, that's why i love this. Definitely not for the younger audience but only for adults, now this is what i call an adult fragrance. Longevity is excellent and Sillage is moderate but that's okay by me. Price is too much though, that's the only con i have with this. Overall: 10/10. I want this fragrance and this is the fragrance that might put a start of my saffron fragrance experience.

Buttery Smooth, Oceanic, Amber Intoxication. Rarely do I come across a fragrance that feels “new”, but this fragrance has an essence to it that feels like uncharted territory. Its predecessors, while likable enough, do not compare to it. Ocean Le Parfum is such a uniquely intriguing fragrance. It has a mystery to it. It’s perfectly sexy, as in it does not try too hard, but its presence is undeniable. It feels distinguished, but not too niche to overstate itself. There is an Ocean quality to it, not quite “Aquatic”, but more “Satiating”. The feeling that overcomes you after an initial sip of Red Wine, is the closest feeling I could describe. Intoxicating. Like you can finally relax. The opening is quite literally like swimming in a refreshing Ocean of soft lemon and amber. The saffron follows with this smooth gentlemanly presence, id say the saffron equips Ocean Le Parfum with a more classy vibe, giving it just the right versatility for a formal event, but still totally casual. My only qualm is the performance. While it does not underperform per se, I do wish this had a little stronger longevity all around. It begins to sit close to the skin just a tad bit sooner than id like it to. The dry down is a settling of Oak and Amber, not unlike your common aroma of Boozy Oak Barrel, but the journey there is so pleasant that it justifies the conventional dry down. I really like this fragrance. The more marked down it gets online, the more valuable it becomes. I picked up a 50 mL for about $60 on eBay. I’d say the price is right. Give it a try! 8.5/10

This is a gorgeous and unusual masculine offering from the house of Prada. I adore the woody-citrus-amber composition that this fragrance offers me. On my skin, it takes on an additionally leathery aspect in the heart note (most likely due to the saffron accord) and dries to a deep, creamy woody amber mix. I agree that it seems a bit overpriced, as the designer fragrances are apt to be presently, but at least Prada did not dilute the strength of the fragrance and still claim “parfum” status as some companies have done. That said, in my sight, this is not a fragrance for everyone, but if one is searching for a mysterious woody amber citrus composition, this may fit the bill. I love this fragrance - it’s different from other fragrances, and, as stated, it has a subtle mystery about it, as if one were venturing slowly down a quiet side street in a Japanese city such as Kyoto or Osaka late at night with the red paper lanterns and scrolls adorning the shops and traditional architecture. There is a genteel poetry that speaks of expensive oaken chests and starlit nights. This in my view would be an excellent choice for a date night in a private booth at an upscale downtown restaurant. A number of females have praised this fragrance on me, and I enjoy the way it makes me feel and imagine. 10/10

This is one of the most criminally underrated designer fragrances of the past 5 years. It doesn't seem very special from initial spray and I think that's what turns some people off to it. Light saffron, fresh lemon zest, and oak. The opening is nice, but somewhat unremarkable. Once it starts to dry down, it really starts to unfold. This deep woody masterpiece unfolds. It took me a few wears for this to really click with me, but once it did, I was hooked! This is peak designer fragrance and I'm honestly glad that it isn't extremely popular because I want it all for myself! Performance is excellent, especially in clothes. I can smell this days later on clothing. It lasts a good 9 hours on skin, but degrades quite a bit on my skin as do many other fragrances due to my skin chemistry. Projection is very good for the first 4 hours on clothing, I get about half of that on my skin. As for seasonality, I would say Fall, Winter, and early Spring where I live. You could get away with this on cooler summer nights. This is a somewhat youthful fragrance, but also has an elegance to it. I would recommend for men 25-40. I don't use the term masterpiece lightly, and this is one of only a handful of designers in my collection that I would give that to. 97/100

..... Finally had to get a bottle, this clearly has that Prada Ocean DNA , a bit closer to the edp than the edt but all in all definitely a True ocean flanker. Anyone who thinks This does not contain that unmistakable Prada ocean DNA , must be a democrat , cuz you just can’t reason with those people.. and they’re literally never happy with anything other than that which makes them completely miserable human beings . Sure this has a similar vibe and structure like that of spice bomb infrared edp, but that one leans more on the sweet (ish) side , and the Prada leans more into the spicey realm . In my opinion it would Not be redundant to own both. Some will certainly disagree , but if you can afford it, and like one or the others DNA I say it’s worth owning both. Side by side you’ll see the difference between the two. Longevity and projection are both acceptable by my standards, but the scent itself to me is very enjoyable , and my wife likes it a lot,.. and that’s always important. Great release and a True ocean flanker.. probly the most flankerish flanker of all times if you ask me.. and like I said earlier, if a person finds something or everything wrong with this frag is undoubtedly a democrat and voting for the Pedo Party,..!!! First impresson on paper and on wrist: It smells like Quentin Bisch may be the mystery perfumer, or at least was heavily influenced by him. (Edit: another website says Carlos Benaim and Anne Flipo are the perfumers.) In my opinion, extremely similar to Kenzo Homme EDP. The main difference I perceive is that the leather and akigalawood from the Kenzo have been switched out for an extremely smooth, realistic ambergris accord. Basically, everything challenging from the Kenzo has been replaced with something mass appealing. It's got that signature Prada smoothness, and karlovonamesti is correct: while it may not be strictly a light freshie style "aquatic," the realistic ambergris definitely gives an oceanic vibe, and the saffron gives an ethereal sweetness with connotations of human skin. The gummy citrus in the opening (that has persisted for 6 hours on the card so far) reminds me of 90s sports fragrances. The strange, mineralic, liminal way that the sillage feels reminds me of Bois Imperial. This is a foggy, melancholic smell, maybe not quite as much as fragrances from the Kenzo line, but still carrying substantially more emotional load than many modern designers. IMO, better than Kenzo Homme EDP. I need a bottle ASAP.

I'm writing this before I even have my full bottle of this. I got a whiff of this back in mid May was absolutely disgusting by the way this smelt, and was highly disappointed in Prada for even releasing this BS, and I watch fragrance reviews regularly anytime this was brought up I would fast forward through the video or just talk shit the entire time it was on screen UNTIL this past Tuesday (07/16/24) I found myself in Sephora inside of a Kohl's and decided to see what new designers they had and PLROLP was there and said I would give it another chance but this time on skin, after I sprayed it an give it a few seconds to dry a bit I was disappointed yet again. Little did I know I was in for a surprise because when it hit the mid I said to myself "okay it's definitely better off skin" then the deep dry down it became a sweet tobacco/leather that I kept smelling for the rest of the day and it lasted even after I washed my hands multiple times this might challenge Black for my favorite in the line hell it might give Amber run its money as my favorite Prada period. Moral of the story try it on skin and evaluate from there and also I like to formally apologize to the people over Prada for doubting y'all my bad.

I was out of town for a wedding and stumbled upon this at the local “Ross” discount store for $65 ($10 cheaper than online and didn’t have to pay shipping/get to try it immediately). So I blind bought it. Went back to the hotel room, unboxed it, applied it to the back of my hand and it immediately blew me away. I yelled for my wife to get her opinion, and she was just as in love. It’s hard for me to describe this scent, I don’t get any strong lemon opening, the balsamic accord at the top of this web page is spot on, same with the Ambery woods and spice, it also shares some characteristics with PDM Layton (which I love and own) but it still is its own thing with other unique aspects. **Please don’t buy this expecting Layton** Projection was perfect, longevity was easily 10+ hours, I kept getting hits of the fragrance off my suit jacket all night long. Prada continues to be one of the top designer fragrance producers in my opinion. Ocean Le Parfum could easily be signature scent worthy. Overall score= 9.2/10 I have the 50ml...I can see a big bottle in the future once this one is empty. Not blind buy safe, in this case it was for me but I like to gamble.

I know the people on here are lying and they probably just smelled it in store on a strip or sprayed themselves with other colognes with it because I have all the best of the best colognes that everyone loves and this Prada luna rossa ocean le parfum is my favorite of all them and I actually own a bottle after trying it on in the store actually sprayed on clothes and body and left the store it was still on my clothes the next day and smelled so good I went back and bought a bottle and when I wore it everyone said wow what is that smells so good and in a store the women was like wow and since wearing it other times like 3 women gave me there numbers seriously never had that with any of my colognes it's so weird that anyone is hating on it when it's my favorite maybe my nose is just different and we all have different opinions I love that Cherry-coke scent that turns into saffron and then a strong woody scent and last so long this stuff is amazing I think people just don't like the price and never actually gave it a chance im sure of that because I own over 300 of the expensive fragrances and this one is my favorite by far

This is by far the most underrated frag in the whole Lune Rossa line. It's very unique, somewhat fresh, somewhat spicy, and rich. That interesting AmberXtreme note also found in LRO EDP is present and almost ethereal, I can't really quantify it with words; it is almost more of a sensation that hits your nose than an actual discernable note. Highly versatile fragrance, not overly complex, but so well balanced. I love this stuff and my wife is crazy about it. Longevity is very good, 8+ hours on skin, days on clothes. This is friendly to most weather and occasions. I would avoid wearing this in hot days but I think it will be fine on cooler summer nights and most Spring days. Such a pleasant and comforting composition. I like wearing this one around the house when I want to feel cozy. I honestly think this is an absolute masterpiece. This is the best LR release besides LR Black. I do see some parallels with Spicebomb Infrared EDP, but LRO LP is so much better in my opinion. This is an honest 9/10 fragrance in my opinion.

Just got my hands on this today, and, despite the disturbing trend continuing on here to degrade every new flanker release because some balding old dude on tiktok gave it a bad review (YSL Y Elixir, SWY Tobacco are the most recent victims of this absurd childish behavior), this is another 10/10 fragrance. It's becoming hard to take this community serious, maybe its the influx of children, whatever. The accords on here are all over the place, nothing tobacco about this, its much more sweet and while is has nothing to do with the ocean it's an amazing blend of sweet amber with a woodiness on dry-down. Its a bit intoxicating actually, quite literally too inoffensive to be slandered. I'm guessing people are upset they can't afford it more than anything. Will go down as a gatekept classic thanks to the idiocy that envelops the community now, I've started a nice rotation with it, Y Elixir and SWY tobacco. If you have a working brain, you'll be able to enjoy this. For anyone else? Cheers.

I really like this one, and especially the interesting scent development as you wear it. The initial aroma is absolutely dominated by saffron, giving it a curious and very interesting savory almost food-like aroma. The base oak note very slowly emerges, gradually giving this a deep rich woody accord - but it takes a few hours for the saffron to settle and the woods to chime in fully. Then, as the hours continue to pass, it takes on a sweeter and sweeter gentle woody accord. This scent evolves as much and as slowly as any other I've owned. It's not an overly complex symphony of notes (mostly that saffron and oak) but the development is fascinating. The longevity is great - I applied it at 730am today and at 1pm received a compliment from a friend sitting next to me at lunch on how nice I smelled. This is one of those scents you shouldn't judge after an hour or two, as it's just getting started at that point. Give it all day and see how you feel about it. I dig it.

Like the person below me California Star, I picked up a 150ml bottle of this for 72.00💵 which is a phenomenal price for a Prada fragrance. This starts off with that lemon which is just ok, but when this dries down about an hour into the wear!! Wow!! I would call this the Saffron Don because this is a saffron ambery, woody scent that smells great to me. There is another fragrance that I love and has just a tad bit similarities to this fragrance is Creme Ebene by Nicolai Parfumeur createur which was released last year but that one is much much better scent profile wise. I have to admit that this fragrance does have character and the longevity is fantastic but it's not overpowering at all which is what I expect from Prada. Lastly I would say that the presentation of the bottle is super sexy with the red and black blend which matches the scent profile nicely but the name is actually misleading!! 9.0/ 10.

Really like this scent, I have no idea why the occasions here lean towards winter and night time, this perfume smells EXACTLY like a certain cheap 2 in 1 shower gel i had, it was cheap but the scent of this shower gel was amazing, masculine, refreshing, invigorating, sporty, lively, confident it was the only thing i liked about this shower gel, and i liked it a lot. And this perfume gives me exactly the same feeling. Its extremely versatile, and fits all occasions, you can never smell too fresh and clean. Seriously no idea why it only has a 4.07 rating, really surprised. Got a decant of it for cheap but now after smelling it, even though I have too many bottles of perfume already, im seriously contemplating getting this, if ill see a good deal on a tester or something in the future ill for sure pick it up

My journey with this gem called Prada Luna Rossa Ocean Le Parfum began out of curiosity, as PLR Black is my signature. And it’s evolved into genuine admiration. Upon application, the scent immediately unfolds with an invigorating saffron note, masterfully balanced by the lemon. After the initial burst, the composition deepens. The robust character of oak emerges, while Amber Xtreme provides a warm, enveloping richness. The dry-down is where the fragrance truly shines, creating a scent that is both confident and comforting. This fragrance has become my most complimented one to date. It speaks to a modern elegance. A scent with an enduring, sophisticated presence, and an undeniable charm.

This juice is completely different from what I was expecting from an Ocean family cologne. It is not fresh at all, nor overly sweet. Instead, it is spicier, and you can feel the saffron right from the beginning (with a waxy touch of iris in the background). It is not a typical blue fragrance; rather, it is suited for special evening or nighttime events... very classy and mature. But the star here is the dry down: it is AMAZING. The performance is impressive, with strong projection for at least two hours. Yet it never feels harsh; it remains smooth and addictive throughout. For me, it’s an 8/10. Definitely worth it if you can find it at a good price.

@monchoyo - I compared this to Pure Havane with a dab of YSL La Nuit in an earlier comment. This is also similar to Givenchy Gentleman Society Ambre, though Ambre is denser with more tobacco. Ocean Le Parfum reminds me of the discontinued Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense. It’s like Ocean Le Parfum cleaned it up and dressed it to be more approachable, though still containing some of that vintage classic feel. It’s one of my favs at the moment, if not my fav. It doesn’t say who the perfumer is for Ocean LP but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Daniela Andrier, who also did Prada Amber Poir Homme Intense and so many other Pradas.

😍🔥 I’m very impressed with this fragrance. It’s easily one of the best from the Luna Rossa line. The scent is smooth, modern, and incredibly well-blended, with a perfect balance of fresh, slightly sweet, and deep notes. It feels both clean and powerful at the same time, making it very versatile but still unique enough to stand out. The quality really shines through, and it gives off a confident and refined vibe. The performance is excellent, lasting a long time and projecting just right without being overwhelming. I own both Luna Rossa Black and L’Homme Intense, but now I’ve added Luna Rossa Ocean Le Parfum to my collection, and it’s absolutely stunning. Unlike what the name might suggest, this isn’t called “Ocean” because it smells salty or marine-like. Instead, it captures a fresh-out-of-the-water experience that’s simultaneously warm, sweet, and even has a subtle boozy quality. I don’t know who the perfumer is, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it were a woman. This fragrance is all about the drydown. Prada consistently excels, offering exceptional perfumes from their more accessible lines to their high-end creations. 10/10.

I personally don’t know how this doesn’t have a higher score ! It’s Great. Sure it smells like a few different things but i don’t think it’s redundant. I don’t personally like the original ocean but this one just blows the others out the park. The woodiness is so smooth with a soft touch of spicy. The lemon really turns this from a cold weather scent to all year round in my opinion. Not too harsh at all, very subtle yet powerful fragrance. If you were to where this in warmer weather i would definitely watch your sprays but just surprisingly works so well in the heat. (In my own experience of course)

I wore this fragrance again on mother's day and I must say that this fragrance is a definite love for me. Within a hour into the wear this thing really has a rich ambery spicy iris aroma that is really nice. I know that iris is not listed but I'm picking it up never the less and I don't mind one bit because I love iris💞 I'm really satisfied with the great designer fragrance and the longevity is 9+ hours on my skin with a strong projection for the first 2 hours. Prada Luna Rossa Le Parfum is a underated fragrance that for whatever reason didn't get crazy hype? But oh well, I love it❤️🔥🔥.

My favorite Prada at the moment! The original Ocean DNA supplemented here with sweet woods and cherry overtone of cinnamon/tonka like materials. I know it says saffron in the notes but to me it smells more like saffron/lavender combo. In short, this smells like Prada Ocean going in the direction of Prada Luna Rossa Sport and Sauvage Elixir (at least a little). Not as fresh and dumb reach as some others in this Prada line but great, deep, reasonably complex but yet mass appealing scent. Excellent longevity and silage with average projection. Love the bottle!!!

I was one of the first to get this in the US... and I loved it. I still love it. A year later it has become my main fragrance. Would you believe I ordered the recharge bottle March 20th and have another coming Friday? LOL My early reviews were "over the top" with praise and I have gone through many other brands over the last year. That journey has led me to "here" and here today is this: I love the entire Ocean line and the Le Parfum is by far the jewel of them. The EDT is a very good freshy, The EDP is exceptional, the Le Parfum is... something spectacular.

Very strong sweet amber scent off the top with a very noticeable wood base scent, I like this one a lot and its my favorite Prada fragrance with Carbon being my second. It projects well and has good longevity, that strong sweet amber opening can be a little much but after 30 minutes of dry down it settles into a nice sweet spot of strong but not make you nauseous strong The name should be different though as this isn't a blue aquatice fragrance at all which is mine and other people's biggest gripe with Le Parfum but its a great date night fragrance.

I don't know why this fragrance gets a lot of hate. It's pretty damn good although it's not a summer/spring fragrance and it's more of a fall/winter fragrance. Honestly this feels like a niche quality fragrance to me, reminds me most of Reflection 45 man, it's just not so medicinal and it's on the sweeter and woodier side. It still can be worn during the summer evenings though provided it's not too hot and you don't go heavy on the sprays(i find that around 3-4 sprays is enough). Definitely sample before you buy this, don't blind buy.

This makes me imagine a coastal breeze along the ocean some place like Washington or Oregon with the woody elements. Many say there is nothing aquatic about it but there is a definitive salty accord that is very present on my skin. The oak accord mixed with the Citric lemon and the spicy saffron is fairly simple in composition but blended very nicely here. My favorite aspect of the opening is this creamy play dohish vibe off my skin that I assume is the Amber Xtreme but whatever causes its occurence on my skin I find it so addcitive.

Yes, it's pretty basic, pretty disappointing. However... the oak here is absolutely heavenly to smell and the longer into the dry down it goes, the smoother it gets. It's an oak note with a bite.. not something I've ever had in my 200+ bottles. I wish it went into a more niche-esque direction, it very much reminds one of shower gel/soap but after the opening fades it's really just about that amazing oak note and that makes it worth it to me. Definitely one of those fragrances I keep smelling my wrist all day just to get another wiff.

Just got this yesterday. To me the opening is like a spicy YSL La Nuit. There is a faint lemon at the top that gives it a little freshness so you can wear it daytime. Then it morphs into something more like Givenchy Gentleman Intense/Ambré or Dior Homme Intense. A perfect dry down. This is still unique enough to buy its own bottle. I see a lot of similarities between the Luna Rossa line and Givenchy Gentleman line, iris and lavender often vanilla are main components. Both designers are top notch and my favs at the moment.

This is a beautiful woody fragrance that is the safest buy I can think of when it comes to woody fragrances. It is natural, but doesn't have the smokey or deep woodiness some woody perfumes have. It just has a very neutral but powerful smell that is simple but complex enough to keep me smelling my wrist all day. Once you spray this on your clothing, it is there forever until you wash it. I usually prefer feminine fragrance, but this is such a pretty masculine scent.

Brings together elements of Red Tobacco and Pure Malt but done to perfection using a Prada budget and the benefit of building on success. The undisclosed tobacco note pops nicely and gives the fragrance a mature. The saffron rushes forth to begin with and then transitions to a dark candied rasperry fruityness that sits separately besides a golden tobacco note. The next day the scent lingers on clothing and pillows, filling affected rooms with an intoxicating smell.

The nicest men's fragrance I have smelled in the last 12 months. It's so spicy and has such an addictive amber sweetness but smells so masculine with the woody backbone. People would seek you out in a room to find where this scent trail is coming from its so alluring. This is what to wear on a special occasion. You would smell unreal and get compliments all night. I could smell this jumping off my arm 10 hours later after just three sprays.

!!!!! PSA !!!!! This does NOT smell like the ocean, matter of fact,.. NONE of them do.. To me, the ocean literally smells like wet sand and fish poop. Nobody in their right minds would actually want to smell like the actual literal ocean. But this is a GREAT fragrance IMO. Love it or hate it,.. The choice is yours, and I hope this Never gets discontinued! It might take a special type of person to hate on this release. THE END

Really nice heavy sweet fragrance with a strong base wood scent. You get the heavy amber, saffron and sweet scent off the top before going into the oak wood. It's my favorite Prada fragrance that I bought shortly after it was released in the US that I've had for a while. It works wonderful for dates (have gotten compliments from my dates) and also formal occasions like weddings. Great longevity and above average projection.

EN DAT ZONDER vaniglia en zonder Banana! Ik ruik de hele dag geweldig, een nadeel, ben er zelf na een uurtje wel klaar mee. Dit type geur vind ik heerlijk en tegelijk wordt ik er moe van, vreemd wel.

This stuff is super underrated. No vanilla/ unisex nonsense. A more mass appealing version of Boss Bottled Absolu done with that Prada touch. A Tom Ford feel to the quality. Masculine, spicy, woody, cozy, a bit sweet and smoky. Not as soapy as other Pradas but it's still there lingering in the background. It's pretty unique for a designer, stands out from the usual suspects. One of my new favorites.

This is a surprisingly polarizing fragrance, at least based on my experience so far. People either really love it or really hate it. It’s smoky and saffron-like, then becomes pleasantly sweet as it dries down. I think it’s suitable for many occasions. I have perfumes for various occasions—for leisure, for seduction, and so on. For some reason, this perfume radiates a masculine power to me.

This is the best flanker in the line and possibly the best Prada frag at the moment. The same people who trash this are the same ones who think Prada black is the greatest frag ever (which smells like rotten farts on the drydown), the edt flanker is rated a lot higher but doesn’t last more than 20 mins, this stuff lasts all day long and smells way better quality than the Spicebomb infared.

This is an absolute love. I think calling it Ocean may have ruined it for the scent. It’s like getting a drink of Coca Cola only to realize your cup was filled with lemonade. It’s a shocker. Should have called it Luna Rossa Ocean Driftwood. Anyways it has a really nice ambery dry woody scent. I got good longevity, really no complaints other than the name - packaging.

What's so crazy is after having this for a year now I still cannot find any cologne anywhere close to the smell of this and how amazing it smells and I can't believe that more people are not mentioning this and I have everything!! Only thing is it doesn't seem to last long but not weak either but if it would project more it would be the best ever .

Im not a massive designer fragrance fan but I love this one. It's pretty basic if im honest but what's so bad about that. It's a nice fragrance on the nose, almost spicy undertones produce by the saffron but the overall scent lays deep in wood and amber. You can grab this for around £60 for 100ml which is excellent value for money

Very nice and woody fragrance with the Luna Rossa DNA in the drydown. Decently priced for a designer frag atleast in my country. I like it a lot, it smells very caramelly while also retaining those blue notes. Very nice. However on my skin with 1 spray it doesn't last all that long which is why I recommend spraying extra.

Saffron & amber, over a woody base. All blended masterfully with restraint. Warm, compelling, and confident; does not need to scream. The "Ocean" name is not a great fit for what is otherwise such a tastefully done designer fragrance. Slap a PdM label on this, and people would gladly fork out double its price.

Unbelievably unique, woody, delicious! Simple composition, but beautiful and comforting. The saffron, lemon, and amber blend to absolute perfection! This just goes to show you that you don't need an overly complex creation to make a masterpiece. Best in the whole Luna Rossa line in my honest opinion. 9/10

Very solid fragrance with a little too high pricepoint. Top notes come off very strong and nearly fill the entire room. Dried up the middle notes kick in after half an hour. Not a fragrance that first comes in mind when I think of teenagers spending the evening but great for a date night 8/10

I actually like this the most out of the line, and I quite enjoy the others. I think the other two are pretty similar, and you don’t need both. This is different enough to set it apart. It’s just one of those fragrances that I keep wanting to smell. Just super pleasant.

At first i thought it was a sweet citrusy bomb, not quite a big fan, until the dry down hits, reminds me of my first "proper" fragrance, Burberry London Men, idk if it's just me ... But yeah, due to sentimental value + the longevity on this one, I'll give it a 9/10. 💪🏼
