No1 Iris

I had this sealed for a long time, thinking whether I would open it since I blind-bought it and wasn't sure whether I wanted to sell it or not. But curiosity took it's overhand, and I'm pretty glad it did! Because to be frankly honest, I really do not understand where all the negativity comes from down here! In my opinion, Iris no1 is a very sophisticated, powdery (and later balsamy) iris. It's not as sweetly thick and pompious as Iris poudre by Frederic Malle for instance, it has more of an 'air'. I think it goes well for anyone with style, preferably in a bit of a more 'mature' age group. I feel like I'm not very well able to pull it off: even though I enjoy smelling Irises, I have that weird feeling with all Iris-centered fragrances, there's just something that doesn't suit my character. That is why I'm selling it nonetheless, but I enjoyed testing it though. The lovely myrrh dry down lasts at least two days!

Ugh! I was gifted this in a box of used frags. Iris smells like vomit to me. Baby vomit maybe but still vomit. Could not stand this. Less iris than other Prada iris frags which is why I sprayed it expecting more incense/woods but still far too much iris. Washed off. Shudder. Not for me. Edit: next day, lingers on clothes, smells less offensive but still too much iris. Bizarre because I have miniature irises blooming in my garden today and they do not offend me. Must be the chemicals they use to imitate iris. I wish I knew what it was so I could avoid it... Sorry that this is not a real review but it is because I just cannot bear to inhale it.

Prada No1 Iris is yet another refined addition to the House of Prada. Like it's predecessors, No1 Iris is bottled in the classic square clear flacon that is 'Prada'.Elegant, understated and timeless. Prada has given us a scent which is neither too feminine or too masculine,therefore making Prada No 1 Iris a new classic for the new millenium.

This is a perfect iris. However, it's so similar to the infusion line that it's not worth the effort to seek out. This is a little closer to infusion d'homme than d'iris. The image for the bottles is used for most of the no.s, as they are all simplistic bottles created by lalique. They were released in bundles througout the years. 30ml pure parfum. For women wanting to try this, sample infusion d'homme.

It has absolutely DNA of Infusion iris ODP but more oriental and gourmand without any sweetness. Its less green and more creamy still powdery and soapy I would say it miss that citrus/mandarin fresh part and you get definitely myrr and sandalwood Its more intense but still very soft and not great projection @camden-girl
