Prada La Femme Intense

This is some seriously rich stuff. Definitely not for warm weather. She NEEDS the cold to bloom. First off, this smells quite posh and opulent. One of the smoothest tuberose scents I have had the pleasure of trying. And the way it's blended with ylang ylang, patchouli and frangipani... so erotic, so sexy, yet so sophisticated. I feel it needs a certain level of confidence and self awareness to pull off. It's one of those fragrance that would easily "wear" the wrong personality. No offence meant with this statement by the way. Just saying it's got quite a strong character and would best suit someone that measures closely if not an equal. The opening for me is purely floral. Very strong, rich and buttery mix of tuberose and ylang ylang (equal parts in my opinion), supported by frangipani and jasmine. I tend to steer clear of fragrances where I detect jasmine since my skin does not love it at all, but it's done so well here, providing a little "edginess" to the smoothness. I'm in love. It settles down about 30 minutes later to moderate projection. Patchouli, vetiver and iris kick in as the fragrance develops through the day to provide an cool, earthy, menthol and almost animalic support to the florals (though I think tuberose has a part to play i the animalic nuance). Ylang subsides a little leaving tuberose to do what she does best...shine! It's like ylang was somehow holding her on a leash. I fall in love with this beauty once more. Overall sillage is about arms length, but the staying power is incredible (9+ hours). Thank you Prada for bringing this beauty to the world!

A perfume for a woman, a woman who knows how to be a woman, full stop. The rest of them cuties, sweeties, pinky bimbos, young and brainless who seek individuality in a french style perfume go over Chanel, they have a new Gabrielle there, that doesn't even smell anything so you're gonna be okay; just don't even come over here. Unless you wanna grow up, then this is a wonderful start. This is from first spray patchouli heavy, the notes might indicate tiare and ylange; sure, we got that too somewhere in the developing of the scent, but patchouli announces its presence right away, and even though it does not project like the Angel patchouli, it's still there with its herbal, medicinal, green and dirtyish aspects under the full on white floral top. Dry, perfumey, tuberose heavy, but not cloying, medicinal, phenolic,metholated, very sexy, powdery. Along the lines of Tom Ford White Patchouli, but not a copycat, they are just in the same family. The original is sweeter, more tropical and kinda balsamic, if I recall properly, but this one is so dry it's to die for. It's perfume, not food, not cookies, not vanilla, just PERFUME. Well done Daniela Adrier, I also loved your Candy Gloss as well!

I received samples on Friday, and ordered a FB on Saturday. I found a number of very wearable loves thru my search during the past year, but this is the first frag I’ve tried that really wowed me, it’s so different. Yes, it’s strong at first spray, but beautiful, and It settles down quickly enough that I don’t wait to leave the house for fear I’ll knock someone out. I’m not good at identifying individual notes, so I’ll leave that to others. (I wouldn’t know a tuberose unless it had a sign on it.) What I like best for me, there is just the right amount of floral, woods, patch and a touch of vetiver, which I like. Not too much of one thing or another, not too sweet, no sharp or funky notes to get through to, hopefully, something nice on the other side. It’s not a real changeling, more linear in the sense that I can still smell all the nuances through beginning, middle, end. I really don’t care for scents that smell great for maybe an hour, then I’m left with only musk, or only patch, or only vanilla for the rest of it’s life. This is rich, someone mentioned ‘like a fine wine.’ I would say more like a fine cognac.

I LOVE THIS PERFÜME! It is GORGEOUS! A lovely Christmas Gift from my husband. I requested this as a gift. I personally never smelled it prior. But, read the notes and reviews and knew I'd like it. But, I didn't know I'd actually love it. First spray,.... I was in love. It blew me away. It smells so sophisticated and well made. Rich, Opulent, Floral, ...It's A Sexy as HELL feminine floral. That Silage is amazing and the longevity is great. Which is something to be said by me. Because NOTHING lasts on me or projects well on me. But, this in incredible quality all the way around and has become my favourite and fast. I'm not going to get into the specific scents. It's already been done here on Frangantica and very well I may add. This Fragrance is for women who like High Class, Eloquent Florals ( well Blended florals) that are trûely "INTENSE". Prada NAILED THIS!!! P.S. The Bottle itself is GORGEOUS. It's heavy, well made and well designed. With a curvature to fit in the hand comfortably. There's a grip pad on the bottle as well. There's no dropping this one. P.S.S. IMHO This smells nothing like Poison.

The original Prada la Femme didn't do much to me but this one is exquisite. The Ylang Ylang at the opening wowed me. Bright yet not bubblegum-y Tuberose is lovely and .... the very true Frangipani makes it really special. I live in Tropical Far North Queensland in Australia. Frangipani is everywhere here... we've got four trees in our garden. (They have dark berry red flowers just like the colour of the bottle) In season, its sweet, sultry scent pleases us alot. Whenever my hubby finds a still-fresh flower on the ground he would give it to me so that I can wear it in my hair. Prada La Femme Intense is, to me, that sort of small but precious moments of life in the bottle. Thank you Prada ;-) Sillage is soft to moderate. It stays over 8 hours. I do not think this is 80s type of fragrance. This is not a big loud one. Also, I own Dior Poison and wear it sometimes. Yes they share some notes but I don't find them similar.

I had lunch with a colleague today and I kept getting whiffs of this amazing fragrance. Obviously I had to ask her what she was wearing. I raced to the dept. store after work and squirted some on. I’m in love! But it’s so expensive, argghhh. What I was smelling on her - 5 hours after she must have applied it - was an airy ozonic ‘red’ kind of aroma. Frequent wafts of tuberose, and yes, ever so slight tropical floral - but not in that suntan lotion kind of way. Definitely a sexy perfume, more for cooler weather and night time I’d say. Mature confident women need only bother. It’s so easy on the nose. I keep smelling my wrist. I want to draw a similarity to Red Door (god forbid) as there’s something airy and wafty about both of these fragrances.

Prada la Femme intense is amazing , I already quite liked the original but it was to me more summer , more daytime and a little fleeting . This is much richer , more velvety and more nighttime. It's basically the sexy much more feminine version of the original. The original is clean and fresh , more summertime ,This version is creamier , more feminine and very interesting , it went right to my top shelf , prada did it again and I do like many of Daniela Andriers creations. Sweet , rich and velvety almost smells of plums and fruit , was an instant love for me :) I agree it's sort of like an updated poison ! It's a men's magnet like poison. Also love the bottle , the men's version is my next purchase for him !

This is beautiful. Truly beautiful. I’m a big fan of Andriers work and this is no exception, I think the way it complements the men’s version is clever also. This is the second time this year that a ylang ylang fragrance has wowed me but I’d say this isn’t your typical yellow floral nor is it in anyway your typical tuberose, I actually found iris to be prominent. I think all the florals in here conspire to create an almost exotic fruity vibe, coming from the frangipani more than likely but the powdery smoothness of iris making it all come together. It’s feminine but not completely outside the realms of wearing for me. I found it to be a very warm, oriental fragrance definitely check it out.

This is a fragrance for an absolute boss lady. It smells expensive, just like the orginial PLF does, and it should be worn by someone who speaks and everyone listens. It is stunning. I love wearing this to work, especially when I need to feel confident for a presentation, etc. Its so creamy and I really get the white florals in this throughout the whole life of this fragrance. It lasts forever on my skin, and the scent trails so beautifully and it is present but not so intense that it would bother people. In the winter, this fragrance shines. If you like creamy white florals, and you like to smell beautiful, feminine, and put-together, you should give this a sniff.

Yes, intense is a suitable word for this tropical flowers in bloom. I get an intense hit of ylang, Frangipani and tuberose. It's definitely a tropical floral backed with patch. I think the iris and vanilla softens this a bit so it doesn't manage to get too loud. It's not very sweet either but just right. The vetiver and neroli are much more evident after a short while as the tropical flowers calm down. It calms down to just a skin scent me quite quickly. I am testing this in a very cool environment so it could be very different in the heat. This is definitely a scent for evening wear. This is the scent of a Diva. Girls need not apply.

Oh my goodness. This perfume is truly beautiful and that first blast is beyond intoxicating. I am surprised that something this beautiful, elegant and actually unique was a designer fragrance. It smells niche and unique. Though the notes aren't unique per sea the arrangements and quality sure are. Magnificent perfume. This is a sexy womanly floral. This scent is very attractive to men. If you are looking to smell like caramel and marshmallows this is not that type. This is a date with your lawyer fiancée in NYC for a night of dinner and close dancing in a 5 star restaurant.

Sweet,rich and velvety ,smells very purple to my nose. Of plums and dark grapes. It’s like an updated version of poison, very sexy scent. I find this best for nighttime and winter , although I never go by these rules ,i have been known to wear angel in 100 degrees. However for someone more conscious this would make a great nighttime cooler weather scent. But with a light hand you could make this your signature. It’s very long lasting and one of my favorite perfumes since the day it came out. One of my husbands favourites ,it’s one he alsways says” yumm” when I wear it.

My second review of this fragrance. I’m halfway through my bottle now, and it’s the middle of a sweltering Australian summer. The tuberose in this scent is lasting 12 hours on me and projecting wildly off my humid skin. It’s so rich and pretty and smooth. I regularly wear Intense to the office and I know everyone can smell it. It’s still wafting up my nose while I watch TV at 8pm at night. Would I call it sexy? Yes. Very feminine, but without that slutty touch. It’s also a winner in Winter. Still smooth with a full tuberose projection.

I belive I've foud a gem. Love yellow flowers the buttery and smothe notes of the ylang-ylang and frangipani. And the tuberose sent. It's lush, fruity and reminds me of montal intense tiare at the same time as it gives me what I love in pulp by byredo. I agree with previous reviews that speaks of mango and grapes. It's sexy and sultry but so not a teen sent. Got a full bottle at ones, (after I smellt it all throu the faces and to the drydown) was actually looking for the homme version but got this sprayd on my other arm.

This parfum is beautiful. I was absolutely stunned that something this unique was a designer fragrance. Its not unique in it's composition and theory. No unusual ingredients. Its unique because there is nothing on the market that smells like this. Not even close. It is gorgeous. That fist blast/five minutes is heavenly. This is very sexy feminine womanly floral. But clean. That means it's not rancid or a headache inducer. But it's not soapy clean either. It's a powerhouse clean floral. Goddess be, this is a beauty.

Prada La Femme Intense by Prada is undoubtedly one of the best late-night date-night scents on the market! The regular La Femme is a lovely sweet floral for during the day, but the intense edition transitions well into the night. Buttery sweet ylang-ylang, fresh tuberose blossoms, tropical frangipani that compliments the tuberose well, that all simmers down to a sensual vanilla patchouli blend. Definitely makes me think vava-voom! Big hair, sparking diamonds, black velvet, and thigh-high leather boots!

Beautiful perfume. I like to wear it during the day, when it is sunny but a bit cold (early spring). It just has an uplifting effect on me. I am in my mid forties and I think that this perfume fits best for age group 40+ . You know, those who are confident and know what this life is about. It has good lasting power and stays very long on clothes (until you wash them). One of my favourites, and I have a large collection. I have had the other flankers from La Femme, but only this one is a keeper.

Expensive smelling, yellow/white floral soap with a slight gourmand edge. The tuberose here is delicate and not bubblegum or indolic; it lends to the overall clean profile of the scent. Beautiful and classy fragrance, my go-to for work. Not challenging but there is complexity and it’s very well blended. Perfect for when you want to smell elevated-clean and put together. I agree that it’s more on the “mature” side but I see anyone in their late twenties and up wearing this confidently.

I. Love. This. Scent. I have been searching for my perfect white floral, a little bit earthy, a little bit sexy, for a while now to wear to my wedding and this checks all my boxes. It’s addicting. The cloud around me lasts a good three or four hours before it fades closer to the skin, but everyone I’ve asked says it’s not too strong if they’re near me. So it different overwhelm others. I find myself taking a deep inhale every now and then to enjoy it. It’s just lovely.

A wonderful fragrance! I like this most from the LF series. It is one of those fragrances where you like everything about. It is round, fine, velvety and even gives a nice leather impression to me. It’s nice almost immediately after spraying without going through any “heavy” phase and suits better colder weather. Reminds me of Wonderlust Sensual Essence of MK but is a bit more “quiet” though still sexy and warm. Love it.

This is what I wore for my wedding. It’s a lovely combination of florals that make it beautifully feminine but still with a strong enough balance of base notes to create just the right amount of dramatic presence. I love that it’s got a subtle sweetness without any specifically sweet notes like fruit or sugar elements. That makes it more mature and sophisticated without being elderly or boring.

This will be a regular in my rotation. I think it’s less soapy than the original, which I love. It’s hard to distinguish individual notes. The opening is muddled, but it settles nicely. I get different notes at different moments, sometimes tuberose, sometimes frangiapani and ylang, even vanilla at the end. The overall impression is a richer, earthier version of the lovely original.

Ok so.... Despite all of the negative reviews I personally think this perfume is purely just beautiful!!!!! The yellow floral notes are quite strong and dominate but does allow for the white floras to slowly peak through! The intense version is slightly on the mature side but the mature playfully side!!!! It’s a 9.5/10 for me

Sexy and addictive. It’s a rich scent with above-average lasting power on me. This smells like amber, syrupy wood and spice on my skin. Sexy Christmas nutmeg and chestnuts, maybe? It’s certainly floral but not in an overly feminine way. Love this.

I love this perfume! It smells classy and mature. Great office sent that stands out. Definitely a compliment getter. If there would be a fire in my house and I could save some perfumes, I would definitely grab this one 😁

Oily & bright ylang complimented by lush white flowers. Very creamy, lightly tropical. Leans more mature, but not intimidatingly so. Wears best in cool/warmish weather, strong sillage, and lasts around 8 hrs on the skin.

I really love this! If i had anything negative to say its that La Femme Intense is too sweet. The sillage is great and the longevity is fantastic. Smells sophisticated and fun.

I don't typically go for "designer" perfumes. This in this case it is an exception. Absolutely lovely and very sophisticated smelling. It is BEAUTIFUL !!!

I was surprised by this, I really like it. Hippy and evocative, like a walk through a spiritual shop. Pardon my unsophisticated way of describing it. ♥

THIS perfume should be called: "Prada's F***ING FABULOUS!"

Ylang ylang, tuberose, jasmin, iris, vanilla. Deliciously blended. They feel honeyed. And clean. Subdued. The scent is floral but no flower stands out from the mix, one must truly contemplate to take it apart. It is similar to Prada Femme. Perhaps even too similar, and I do not perceive it as intense. I am yet to wear it in the summer when the difference might be more obvious. It is a very good, elegant and timeless scent fit for any occasion. It has carroty nuances to the flowers, which I like. I can imagine it being the only parfume in the collection, satisfying all needs. Today is raining a dense drizzle but on a walk I could feel the bubble this scent creates around me, so maybe it is intense after all, as only the strongest scents perform like this on me. It is a bit special in the floral cathegory cause this is warm and fleshy. Made of fresh, moist petals. It is stylish and elegant. I think I prefer the Prada La Femme, which is joyous and pollen heavy. Staying power is great. At 7 hours mark I still feel it around me. It changed a bit and became even more interesting and delicious. Still, nothing stands out in particular. At this stage it reminds me of Chanel Gabrielle and the heart of Lilac Love by Amouage.

Got a few samples of this with another perfume that I purchased a while back. I didn’t bother trying it because I looked on here and saw that it contained vetiver which I absolutely hate and if I spray a perfume containing vetiver it is the only note my sense of smell picks up on. But much to my surprise the is quite pleasant, the notes are so well blended and although I can still detect it the vetiver it does not dominate in fact it enhances the floral notes especially the orange blossom. It is very much in the style of Tom Ford Velvet Orchid but it not so loud and bitter. Vetiver automatically makes me think of old ladies perfumes, Chanel No 5, the not so beautiful Beautiful and the truly horrendous Youth Dew but this one is quite different. I don’t know if I like it enough to purchase a full bottle I might see if I can get some samples of of eBay or a 10ml decant first before deciding but it is certainly the nicest vetiver perfume that I have encountered

I spent the afternoon with three sprays of this. It opens with an icy camphorous tuberose. I hate this type of tuberose. However, it wasn't nearly as Vic's Vapor Rub heavy as my nemesis Carnal Flower so I gave it a chance. Once the ylang ylang joins the party, the tuberose has lost much of its icy top notes. La Femme becomes sweet but not as sweet as Truth or Dare and not as heady. I don't get any bubblegum from this tuberose. The patchouli is pretty strong in this so if you don't like patchouli stay away. The emphasis in the drydown is on an ambery, mature patchouli with more ylang ylang than tuberose. This scent is thicker, warmer and more oriental than the original. If I had to compare it to another perfume, I'd say it's most like Reminiscence White Tubereuse, but minus the dusty moss and much less spicy.

Coco Chanel kind. Quite heavy and spicy stuff. The strength (and all) is stunning in the first half an hour. Then it fades pretty much, and looses some of its beauty and most of the enchant. I think this represents time 1930-1960, -1970. Time of great film stars, great divas. Time of heavy great perfumes of our mothers' & grandmothers. A fine perfume. For well dressed woman. Quite beautiful scent. Heavier, warmer, and sweeter than the original. There's one minus in the scent ... I don't want to say what it is. It's quite obvious... if you've ever come across ... The other minus is in me: I'm too shy and under-powerful for this scent, and almost never dress in the way this perfume requires. But I understand and feel the power of the stuff.

I don't get the comparisons to Black Orchid, at all. But, I would imagine that would depend on how sensitive (and, how well you like) patchouli. I tend to like patchouli; however, this was a scent that was not a love at first sniff. This review is after I set it back on my shelf for a while and then retested it. This is a light, bright floral scent on me. It reads very soft and feminine. I think this is very versatile; despite being labeled intense, this is not so bombastic that you would have to worry about being offensive unless you applied quite a bit. I don't think I would wear this is the depths of winter; but, I would reach for it just about any other time.

I tested this yesterday. It is smoother than I would expect, and even if you are a patchouli hater, you should try it - this is a lovely and well-blended patch and I'm personally not a fan of that note in a lot of fragrances. At any rate, it is very different than the original, which was too buttery and polite for my taste. And again, this one, while very rich and oriental, was too heavy, and the tuberose was the mentholated kind - just not the type I like. I love skanky tuberose and didn't get that here. But overall the whole thing is smooth and well-blended and I can't believe it's only got three notes. Very ambery and thick smelling. Just not a "love" for me.

Hi fragrance hive :) I've had a spray if this today at dept store. I have the la femme edp already. Straight off I got a whiff of something that's similar to ysl opium. Not the same, but that was a knee jerk feeling. What that is I don't know. ..please if you think you know tell me, I struggle a little with actual notes, I rather talk in terms of feel and previous comparisons. It's gone softer now, but I've had washing up gloves on so it's changed it slightly. Seems in line with the edp version but has this creamy white spice, it hits you when you spray it. I will try it again when I've got no other scents on.

Very pretty flanker of the OG La Femme. My biggest beef with it is that its not very intense, nor does it last a long time on me. I get a tart citrus and frangipani and ylang mixture, not so much the tuberose on my skin. I feel a bit of the patchouli backbone, but it strays far from that sort of sweet fruitchouli dna that's so ubiquitous these days. Overall, I get the impression of blossoms being dried out in the sun, perhaps being used for tea (there's a slight tea quality to this fragrance.) Doesn't have the soapiness/waxiness of the OG which I prefer. Only lasts 2 hours or so on me.

I don’t even know how to describe it. This a grown woman fragrance. A woman with life, personality, class, confidence, presence, beauty, and sex appeal. The kind that is admired by some and bothers others, for good reason in both instances. This smell like full bodied balmy tropical flowers (especially ylang ylang to my nose), patchouli, and hints of Vetiver. The fragrance has a mentholated component which adds to the uniqueness. Very unique, opulent, vintage, and intriguing. Though not for everyone and not even myself (at least not yet...), I find it beautiful !

This is a beautiful, elegant and fresh floral fragrance with a slight powdery note however the lasting power is ridiculous. I bought the normal eau de parfum for my mother and it had basically no longevity. Then I got her the intense (smells very similar just a little deeper) and the longevity was no better even though it was more expensive. Not worth the price at all, just get the eau de toilette if you really like it because the different concentrations make no difference.

A tuberose bomb mixed with strong vanilla on my skin. I blind bought this and I kinda regret it. It's a beautiful scent don't get me wrong. It just resembles my lovely Gucci Bloom to my nose which I already own. I love the silage, I just sprayed it once and I can swear it filled the room immediately. My husband loves it for his mom, so I think I won't be wearing that for a romantic outing or any kind of date night.

Usually patchouli and vetiver tend to turn sour on me and make perfumes smell cheap on my skin. But in this fragrance both notes are very refined and soft somehow! I actually like it very much! The opening leans more unisex but after 5 minutes it morphs into a very classy ladies perfume. No prominent flowery notes! Longevity is 4-5 hours, sillage is soft. I would wear this all year round.

Lovely floral with a slight gourmand lean to it, wearing this in winter, it’s barely discernible after 30 minutes. Here’s hoping the performance will improve in warmer months. Nothing “intense” happening here. Edited. Tried it again a couple of days later, and lasting power much improved, there’s a lovely juiciness to this fragrance without the sugar hit.

I just received my order 🙈 buy First impression - cough cough smells like tequila or whiskey 🥃 maybe cognac I dunno 🙁 not what I was expecting at all 😐 It's feminine, disappointingly soft for an intense version Can be worn all-year-round, day/night It's just good, no magic here Edit: might work as unisex for some people

The opening was woody and the ylang ylang scent was offensively strong. But it gets sweeter and more floral afterwards. It's a nice evening perfume and perfect for winter. Makes you feel feminine, sophisticated woman who's confident in her high heels. The lasting power is phenomenal, lasts all day and all night.

Beautifully blended white floral with added sweetness and creaminess from ylang ylang. I do agree this smells mature, sophisticated and very confident. And luxurious at the same time. The OG compared to Intense is fruitier and fresher, more on a soapy side. Very nice creation. 7/10

This perfume is surprisingly good! It's definitely on the warmer, feminine side. It reminds me of Dior's Hypnotic Poison but this would be a lighter, more floral version. It's not too overwelming, it still has it's freshness and the notes are very well balanced. It's womanly!

It sits so close to the skin and fades so fast for me. When it's put on, it's pretty blasé, but as it develops it becomes creamy, rich, sweet, floral...then it peaces out. It's just not something worth reapplying to me, pretty underwhelming for a name brand prouduct.

Wow I like this much better than the original. I smell sweet balmy ylang with mentholated patchouli, some vetiver and jasmine. Doesn’t have the bubblegum or washing powder smell of the original. I think its bright and classy smelling. Perfect for warm weather.
