Turquoise Water

..... so I got a sample of this with a recent purchase from maxaroma, and I pulled the cap off the sample sprayer, sprayed it once inside the cap, took a sniff and thought.... This smells very familiar, then 30 seconds later it hit me like a baseball bat,.. this to me is Very similar to xerjoff erba pura,.... The one in the turquoise bottle,.... And my guess is that is why they gave this juice its name. It’s almost as if they should have called this turquoise coconut water. . It’s like erba pura with a heavy dose of coconut water. Very nice scent and perhaps easier to wear than erba pura for some. But if you’ve tried and enjoyed erba pura or the Lattafa dupe you’ll want to at least try this one. I dig it so far and will test it out more after I cleanse myself of what I’m currently wearing & report back with some longevity and and development updates.. The scent is great. Definitely the “aquatic scent” of the line. But that in no way diminishes the the quality and work behind this frag. I don’t get Erba Pura from this. Kind of disinter-ish. But again, that is not a bad thing. Kind of in the space of D&G Light Bleu Intense; but much more elevated. Does not smell like Light Bleu, but in that space Unisex for sure. I get the pear. It’s faint, but it’s there. And it’s a real pear smell. Not something you would find in a Blue Talisman inspo. Coconut water, jasmine, driftwood, musk and vetiver. Definitely a full bottle purchase for me.

exactly what you think it'd smell like with the name. very delicious and fresh and vibrant. i would love to be gifted this but wouldn't go out my way to buy it at this price point

A very pleasant, though not particularly unique, aquatic floral. Initial spray starts with a few seconds of creamy coconut that's taken over by indolic white florals. I personally am a fan, but if you have a problem with indole, you are probably not going to like this. After maybe 10-15 minutes, I start getting the sweetness of the pear, and a really well-done salt note begins to appear. I mostly get salt during the heart note phase, and then salt + wood as it head into the dry down. Eight hours after spraying I can still smell this on my skin, but it's just sandalwood by then, and only if I put my nose up against my skin.

I like the scent but hate the price. Sure it smells great and exudes Summer but.... It's kind of designerish TBH. With the evolution of clone houses taking over the last few years this just seems quite out of place. Don't get me wrong it's a nice aquatic floral scent that leans masculine despite all the floral notes and lasts at least 6 hours everytime I have worn my sample it does not wow me considering the almost $300 price tag for 75ml. I would choose Bvlgari Atlantiqve and D&G Light Blue Forever from my collection all day over this.

I passed by the smells-like section and noticed references to Erba Pura. No. This is nothing like EP. There's a genericness to this scent. If you've smelled a blue scent from any line that's what this one is. It gives me shower fresh, clean. It is not the longest lasting scent. There are no unique ingredients to liven things up and that sums up the house. Decent scents. Some good. Some great but none are going to have the breakout success of Baccarat Rouge, Aventus or any of those 'i smell this everywhere' scents. See my review on Blue Agave which is a notch better than this but stinks in terms of longevity. Overall 3.8/5

I recently purchased the full sample set of precious liquid after getting a couple samples and scented strips in an order. This is one of the standouts for me. I get all the notes, but they are in perfect harmony. The drydown is amazing.👏 I had this on, then did a workout & got sweaty and hot. It smelled EVEN better, which confirms my suspicion that Turqoise Water is made for hot climates and summertime. It is balmy and rounded, with the most lovely salty, oceanic, natural feel. Having lived in the Caribbean for a few years, I would certainly say the inspiration is spot-on. So well done.

Can’t really smell it off the Alo Vera samples they offer. I put it on both of my inner elbows and I get a smoothness to it sort of like when you open a sorbet from the freezer and that slow cold reaching your nose but without the cold feeling just the sensation, by no means does this have an icy feeling or smell, as far as scent it’s hard to tell since it’s weaker than non scented lotion 😭😭

This stuff is mouthwatering. It’s like you’re sitting on the beach on the perfect day surrounded by fresh tropical fruit drinking coconut water. I mainly get pear, coconut water, honeysuckle, and vanilla. This could be a signature scent for a woman. I would wear it myself on a hot day as a man because it’s so refreshing and high quality. 8/10.
