Why has my review not been posted? Did I do something wrong?

Aviance fragrance notes Top Notes Aldehydes, Lily of the valley, Citrus Heart Notes Rose, Jasmine, Iris Base notes Musk, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Oakmoss frome basenotes. It does not age well. Try and I recommend you not to buy.

I don't see this as a unisex frag at all!? I thought I bought a bottle that went bad, because it reminded me of that old lipstick smell. I then bought a small perfume so I could compare and I get the same; I will say the perfume is fresher in that there are some floral notes. I think the cologne I have has aged some and lost some of he top notes that were once present or have been muted. It's a big pass for me! I've seen where people say this is a Chypre Floral ... save your money and buy vintage CD Miss Dior or Revlon Intimate! Intimate is a hidden GEM! Happy smells to you!

My grandmother died recently, and one of the things I "inherited" from her was her perfume collection. Including a long-emptied flacon of AVIANCE. It may well date to the 70's or 80's. Smelling the contents, I do get that it is a floral chypre with some urinaceous aldehydes up top, some musky indoles, an overall quality like a fine, expensive milled soap. But what really steps out for me is a sweet, rounded honey note in the middle-range... which is not listed, somehow in the above olfactive pyramid. Delicately sweetening the very tart, high-pitched florals. It's a Prince Matchabelli, which means it is drugstore-tier, and indeed, the base of AVIANCE smells AVON-like, which is to say, kind of ersatz and aroma-chemical-ly. I just remember the TV commercial in the 1970's: ♪ "I'm gonna have an AVIANCE night!" ♫ I'm pretty sure AVIANCE was not unisex... (?) It's ultra-femme smelling, I'd say.
