Cristal d'Or

I just did a review for another Princesse Marina de Bourbon perfume that I recently acquired and it inspired me to try this one again, and I low-key love it. Cristal d'Or is this raspberry-sweet, fruity, white floral -- mostly a very non-offensive, non-indolic jasmine -- with a delicious undercurrent of creamy tropical tiare flower. It's kind of in the same genre as Burberry London, but that one always makes me think of Earl Grey tea and honeysuckle. Cristal d'Or is just a lovely fragrance, good year round. I forgot how much I enjoy this one and should be reaching for it more often! It's a pretty, sweet, floral, playful, happy scent <3

Jasmine Heaven!! Wonderful, sophisticated, and classy scent; the opening is so citrusy, I expected to find lemon mentioned in the notes, but I found Mandarin Orange, which is fair, because of this citrusy opening, shifts to a sweet, ambery Jasmine! Definitely Sweet, but the Mandarin Orange keeps it far from being a cloying, or sickly sweet scent!,, I love these kinds of fragrances, that are adjusted on the right balance of the right amount of sweetness! perfect for spring. 8/10.

This fragrance is great! It opens with a perfect sweet juicy mandarin scent. When that fades a bit after 15 minutes, the indolic jasmine comes out to play. I think I get a hint of the tiare, because there is something “extra” going on that makes this slightly more exotic than just a mandarin/jasmine perfume. I really enjoyed this, I’m surprised this fragrance hasn’t had more attention on Fragrantica! Plus the bottle is substantial and heavy, feels like good quality in your hand.

I've had this for quite some time, only rediscovering it by accident while going through my collection. I didn't know why I abandoned it for so long because it's, in all honesty, very pleasant. Soft, mildly sweet with the musk and white flowers at the fore. Not cloying at all. Although I think it does better in cooler temperatures. Haven't put it on during hot/humid days, but I fear it won't smell as good.

Definitely got the jasmine and mandarin notes on skin and clothes. I decided to layer this perfume with BBW Black Raspberry Vanilla and the combination worked so well together. Crystal D’or blends so smoothly, because it is mainly white floral and fruity this pairs well in the spring than fall.
