Monsieur Le Prince Elegant

Another top quality fragrance from a decidedly underrated House. Yes, this definitely is a take on Bleu de Chanel or Dior Sauvage Parfum - but more citrusy. The other fragrance from Princesse Marina De Bourbon I wish more people will give a try is Monsieur Le Prince Intense. That one is one of my favourite fragrances - an exquisite clone of Creed Aventus. Pity samples aren't available. Well, they aren't here in South Africa, that is. But we have about four online stores that sell three of the Princesse Marina De Bourbon fragrances for men. If you are in South Africa this one - the Elegant - and Monsieur Le Prince Intense are worthy blind buys. Monsieur Le Prince Elegant is an all-year fragrance. About a third of the price of the Chanel or Dior, but the same scent and performance.

Yes this is smells exactly like blue the Chanel the good news is it last longer with better price tag you can find it for $50 It smells clean and high quality just like Chanel or even better

Has a very strong alcohol opening that lasts for about 10 minutes and then it becomes a nice clean fresh scent. Decent office cheapie.

Bleu de Chanel on a budget with rather weak performance. Won't complain tho, since it's very very cheap.

#984 in my "Tour de Fragrance" So many scents like this: Salcvador Dali Laguna, Montblanc Individuel and Individuel Tonic, Guess 1981 LA, Odyssey Mega, Polo Sport, Paco Rabanne XS, Burberry Men, Acqua di Parma Colonia Club, YSL Y, Bleu de Chanel, PDM Sedley, Bvlgari APH Tonic, Mercedes Select, Azzaro Chrome, Banana Republic Grassland, and a hundred Middle Eastern House frags as well. They're all nice freshies of varying quality. If you have any of those this is more of the same, and how many of these does a guy need? Yeah it's cheap, but so is an $8.99 bottle of Tabac Man that's really close to this in scent if not performance. Monsiuer Le Prince Intense is a much better fragrance that could almost pass for Aventus, though you likely already have Aventus or a scent that will almost pass for Aventus. But it's likeable, though pretty much just above an EDT in performance, so lay on MacDuff!. Car pool, elevator close spaces safe. You will need to respray midday. You should spray your clothing as well to get any projection. Dates? You can do better than this.

Having blind bought the intense version of this fragrance line and being very impressed by it I took a gamble with the Elegant version.. whilst not as knock out performance wise as previous I still think it is a handy addition to most collections. I get the bleu de Chanel similarities of other reviewers but I get a nostalgic flashback to CK1 being in the mix as well ! To me this is not a ground breaker but every scent doesn’t need to be, this is a decent “team player’ of a perfume that is very pleasant, fresh and great for a change of smelling like the usual house smells that do the rounds at spring/summer and early autumn time. Makes for a good conversation if you’re asked about your scent too! If you spot this or the intense at decent price then I suggest you go for it.

I like Bleu de Chanel. But the performance is just simply unacceptable for the prices they ask. While I see similarities to Bleu here, these are entirely two different scents. It doesn't have the incense note, or the grapefruit, or the ginger. What it does have is geranium and a lot of sandalwood. I like it a lot. Sure, it's synthetic, but of great quality. It's rather enjoyable and just lovely to wear in the heat.

Good scent for a cheap price. It gives me Dior Sauvage but more woody, a dry linen like quality and without the ambroxan. Opening isn’t the smoothest but it’s tolerable. Dry down is nice. But you need to spray this like 15 times to get decent performance. So bathe away and you can be confident you smell fresh clean elegant and non offensive.

@JusttheFactsMan As usual... in my country this fragrance costs $50, and this is the promotional price. :))) This is some misunderstanding. Even more sad after your great review. clean, nice, fresh, a bit spicy, refreshing, that's what I feel, and yes, stronger than Blue de Chanel
