Royal Marina Rubis

As with most other Marina fragrances, this one is pleasant, but uninspired. There isn't really anything unique about it and it smells like plenty of other powder-floral fragrances out there. The one thing that is nice about this is that unlike most other Marina fragrances, this one doesn't smell cheap. This one actually smells like an elegant perfume, rather than cheap bubble bath.

Let me start by saying I really adore the bottle so beautiful now for the perfume it's definitely spring/summer scent. Powdery, light, feminine and inoffensive definitely office appropriate. This is something to wear when you want to smell nice nothing really bold. Pretty much is nice I kinda like it but not a love.

Love the bottle! Perfume itself is "alright". Powdery, rosey, inoffensive, pretty boring. This is something I would wear if I want to smell "nice" without drawing attention.

Oh my word this is not my cup of tea. It is really really powdery sooo powdery and the powder smells so dated. It smells like slight, like really slight citrus with dead flowers and dated powder. However, there is one upside to it in my opinion, and its that I picture this would be what 15th century Nobel women would smell like.

I read the description, and it is a bit over the top. As the French might say, comme c'est prétentieux! In France, the Bourbon line ended in 1814. I doubt that the Spanish princesses, Leonor and Sofia, have ever heard of this fragrance. Yet I can accept the general premise. When I think of royalty, I imagine a subdued classic floral. Elizabeth II, for example, was partial to White Rose and Guerlain L'Heure Bleue. This powdery floral roughly falls into this category. It is not offensive, and is somewhat pleasant, though boring. Having said that, this is a decent oriental floral. If you like it, buy it.

Really cute and adorable bottle. And the notes sounds good too. Defenitly on my want list.
