Frescoamaro

Though I have only worn this scent for the last two days, I must admit that I am smitten. It is spring time here in San Antonio and the light breeze helps the silage of this scent. I love scents that people like but cannot tell what the brand is. I also like scents that change with the dry down . The Frescoamaro satisfies both of my requirements. I just wish it had more longevity. A pure perfume would be exactly what I needed to move this scent into my top scent position, currently by Kilian's Imperial Tea holds the position.

Frescoamaro is a wonderful and refined scent for warm weather daytime suitable for both genders. All in all it feels like a quality version of Calvin Klein CK One Summer 2015 with the addition of some more ingredients making it more pleasant. It opens with strong notes of gin, juniper and violet leaf with noticeable grapefruit, intensive mint which fades out quickly, faint melon and a soft cucumber note which becomes stronger as time passes. The rose in this scent is very discreet and never comes up front. The combination of the above notes create an illusion of sea breeze. It has a green-aquatic vibe without having any aquatic note. Frescoamaro feels green, fresh, citrusy, slightly fruity, aquatic and uplifting. The gin note is much more smoother than in CK One 2015 and everything else feels smooth compared to the CK. At the dry down I get mostly vetiver and musk along with the dominant couple of gin/cucumber. It doesn't feel overly boozy scent. It's more fresh and citrusy-green than anything else. The projection is heavy at the opening but quickly becomes moderate. The sillage is moderate. The longevity is above the average, about 5.5-6 hours which is very good for a warm weather scent.

Perhaps it is meant to evoke fresh cucumber. To me it is more like dill pickle.

Funny there are no ́ozonic ́ notes listed, as it a sea breeze all the way here (and one you ́d love to always be enveloped in). Preferred to Sel Marin, lighter and fresher without the bitter, sharp saltiness. Takes you away to that place by the sea in the sun. Absolutely lovely.

Scent - cucumber musk & gin. Season/Time of Day - I prefer to use this one in the warmer months, day or night. Projection - I didn't get noticed, I didn't get a compliment. Longevity - I get 6hrs consistently.
