I can't feel the aldehyde, maybe it's light. This is a very big fresh white floral soaked in sweet milk, silky, luscious, vivid, very beautiful

Very soft lactonic tropical flowers and tuberose scent, its very smooth and soft, this is not loud at all, in fact it could be office friendly.while it is nice, It had a very "familiar" scent to me, the tuberose note smells very simiar to Giorgio Beverly hills in a very small way, But this is a soft, gentle well balanced perfume. I pick up the aldehydes making it lighter, and the woody resinous notes make it smooth.

KaelanLovesPerfume, I do not get any aldehydes here, but the tuberose is really strong! Of course, I am not complaining about it as i LOVE tuberose. Unfortunately, this perfume is nothing so special for me and I will pass it. To be honest, I was expecting something which will make my world "shaking", but nope.

I won a bottle of this in a giveaway from a very generous fragrantican. For this reason I really wanted to love it, I kept it around for almost 2 years and sampled it again and again. But alas, it's not for me and I'll have to find a new home for it. Vaiana Dea is a two-faced fragrance. The opening is very retro with aldehydes and loud, soapy florals. It reminds me very much of a mysterious fragrance I played with as a child in early to mid 90s at my grandma's house. I think it was a lily of the valley or maybe bluebell soliflore that I never really liked, but as a child, any perfume or make-up I was allowed to play with was good enough. Fragrantica doesn't list lily of the valley in the notes, but other sites do, and it's definitely there and can't be ignored. Too bad I'm not a fan of lotv in general, its cold, clean green scent comes across as screechy to me. After a while the fragrance slowly changes to something sweeter and more modern until the opening is not recognizable anymore. Tuberose becomes the star of the show quickly, blended with milk, vanilla and a beautiful benzoin note. It makes me think of slightly caramelized brown sugar. This is a perfume with lots of notes to sniff out. Coconut, peach, ylang ylang, sandalwood... They all give some little accents to the scent, but only as background harmonies for the tuberose. This is very feminine, voluptuous and heady. I love the drydown, the longer it's on the better it becomes. But I can't get over the shrill opening and I feel like I sometimes get a slight headache from this fragrance. To really appreciate this, you got to love sweet white florals and old-school green florals equally.

Did Luckyscent mix up my samples or am I super sensitive to the aldehydes here? This is the soapiest, sharpest most annoying tuberose scent I have ever tried. It's basically all old wicked witch aldehydes to me with a tuberose and coconut being held prisoner in aldehydes basement screaming for help. The screams are so faint, I'm not sure if I really hear them and Aldehyde keeps coughing and tapping her feet to cover them up.

This thing is like the Hydra, every time I take a sniff it's a different face. Aldehydes, tuberose, lily, jasmine, all competing.

I LOVE gourmand fragrances, as well as tuberose influenced fragrances so i am intrigued by this. The only thing i am worried about is the Aldehyde note. I dislike the smell of Aldehydes very much so, it always makes the fragrance smell "elderly" IMO. Hopefully this one can break my opinion on Aldehydes, let's hope!
