Princess of Java

Princess of Java is an aptly named fragrance, because Javanese always use a lot of jasmine and tuberose in their cultural events. Hence, this perfume is a white floral bomb with tuberose and jasmine as the leading duet. However it's not by any means sensual or carnal, nor it's overly bubblegummy like Little Fracas from Piguet. It's a pure and white tuberose/jasmine scent, exuding the elegance of a white wedding dress. The silage and projection is good for the first 1-2 hour, and then turns into moderate for the rest of its's duration (6-8 hours). I love Princess of Java, and any white floral lover definitely should try this one.

i once thought there was mba kunti haunting me at 9pm while i was working because i smelled jasmine all around. "but it smelled so good?" i thought, there is no way mba kunti could emit a smell that is so delicious and alluring. turns out my 5ml vial of princess of java spilled in front of my laptop but i didn't notice it lmao. princess of java smells so good i thought a ghost appeared to me.

One of my faves from Project 1945 collections! I think the scent is intriguing and sweet, this perfume is both fresh and exotic. Unique fragrance that slightly leans towards a sweet and musky note and also, a complement getter!

very feminine yet fresh and sparkling

A beautiful floral scent, with a hint of amberish vanilla. Not that overly sweet or cloying.

this would be great kunticore fragrance if only the white florals didn't turn into bubble gum-ish! peach in this fragrance might be the main culprit for that. leans feminine but i can see men who want to relive their childhood wearing this. if you're looking for a decent performing, juvenile, white floral indonesian fragrance, this is it! (kunticore is indonesian slang for scents that reminds people of the ghost kuntilanak which is known to have white floral smell. i personally think if a full blown kunticore you're looking for, head towards al rehab's "alf zahra" and "full" if you want the carnal, indolic, jasmine)

One of Project 1945's some disappointing releases. It seems like a random slap-on of the word "Java" without delving deeper into Javanese culture and reinterpreting it well. The white floral here isn't dominated by tuberose, but instead is presented in a sticky sweet style with a dominant fruity aroma. The weakness of our #LolakWangi oftenly lies in the shallowness of the concept and narrative, accompanied by mediocre execution. But if you are looking for some girly teenage fruity floral aroma, maybe this one is perfect for you. This perfume also has a good 'price to value'; 100ml bottle with relatively affordable price, come in good bottle and box packaging, and easy to find (at least online).

I had high hopes then I got shattered. At first spritz it was Libre+Elie Saab Le Parfum, loudly. Then it had the traces of Hint Noble/Diptyque Do Son. Not unique. I am disappointed. My favorite from this brand (after trying several of their perfumes) is Heiress of Minahasa.

I expected this one to be all tuberose, a green-dewy-slightly indolic kind of white florals. All I got here is a bubblegum-ish tuberose. Why would the Princess of Java smells like My Way???

liltle too sweet for me, if the sweetness is the same as feels of ubud or waters of maluku, this perfume will be perfect
