Lemon Liada

After using this fragrance for a week, I can honestly say this is something I can keep as a lifelong staple in my collection. Sadly, it’s a limited edition that has been discontinued. This magic potion opens with a very natural and fresh lemon zest, not the cheap, synthetic, or cloying kind that you get from some designer brands. It’s so real that you can hardly believe Charna composed it without actual lemon. Instead, this intoxicating lemony aroma was created with cedrat, verbena, and petitgrain. It doesn’t end there. There’s a subtle, delicate floral heart hidden beneath this delicious freshness. Constructed with lotus, mimosa, and orris, the floral subtlety blends seamlessly with the fresh lemon. It delivers a wholesome experience that makes me feel I’m smelling and tasting this summery delight at the same time. It’s like waking up in a garden on a worry-free summer morning, sipping freshly made lemonade with whiffs of fleeting floral scent in the crisp air.

Absolutely refreshing! This is lemon verbena and lemon balm, along the lines of "She" by House of Matriarch and "Chiffon" by Solstice Scents. It is lemon-herbal summer goodness for when you want a break from the Aqua Allegorias and considerably more natural. Starts off lemon straight-up and smooths into a sweet lemonade on the porch, a bit of skin musk and sugar with a few sprigs of green lemon balm gracing the rim. The mimosa adds a floralcy but the orris must be a slight fixative or underpinning the sweet mimosa. I don't really detect the lotus. A great citrus refresher!

On me it smells as a fresh, white lemon blossom in all its glory. Sensuous and invigorating. One of the best white flowers perfume I've ever smelled, I wish I had more than a sample.

The opening smells like Lemon Pledge sprayed on really old furniture. This lingers around for about four or five hours, then the whole thing is gone, nothing is left. Disappointing.
