Opardu No. 04

Absolutely REGAL white floral: a conquering empress completely clad in armour made of the purest, most perfect petals. It simply sweeps you away, with its jaw-dropping beauty and charisma overcoming any possible objections. This is almost as far away from my realm (dark, dirty, woody mid-niche and cheapies) as it is possible to get. It's too femme, too luxurious, far too expensive, simply too BEAUTIFUL for my usual taste. So why do I want to throw myself at the hem of that flower-cloak and inhale it forever? Because it is amazingly well done. 95% or more of the time, the presence of tuberose means an automatic disqualification to me, but even that is no obstacle whatsoever here. I'm also ambivalent about heliotrope and rose, which too often make me feel queasy and itchy when things get too cute and pink, but that doesn't happen either. Good golly. All is beauty, all is calm: creamy, poised, sweet without cloying, strong without screeching. It makes me, a scruffy tomboy and lover of weird and filthy and avant-garde unisex scents, feel like a CLASSIC LADY. (I have no idea how). It's utterly dreamy ... ... until I come back to earth with a bump and realise how much it costs. It's outrageously expensive - and yet all the same I hesitate to call it 'overpriced', because it does everything it promises and more so impeccably. Even costing 2 or 3 times more per ml than many other things I adore, it could still be called 'well priced' without lying. Lasting power is not bad, though for upwards of $6/ml you might well demand it went on forever, or at least a full day's wear. The only other florals which have had this sort of effect on me were pretty upmarket niche things: Serge Lutens Un Lys and Fort & Manle's Jardins du Giverny. This shares their white-flower magic but amps it up to almost unbearable loveliness: beauty cubed, and priced to match. So go ahead and try it if your feelings and wallet allow. But be prepared to fall in love.

She sat in front of the easel and looked lovingly at the white paper. She already imagines what the painting would look at the end and even though it is not her first one , she is sure that she will love it the most. The paper is already wet , ready to absorb the emotions and colors. Her hand draws the first delicate touch of color: purple specks come alive on the paper and then metamorphoses in small and delicate lilac flowers. The woman smiles looking at the flowers and she almost senses their fresh, crisp smell that brings happiness. Softens her brush in color, and among the lilac flowers, she starts painting a sweet heliotrope flower. This time, the touches of color are more vivid , you get lost in their depth. If you close your eyes, you can feel their warm and powdery aroma. Yes! This is definitely how memories smell - a blend of space and time, over which the fine powder melancholy sat quietly, protective. There is still something missing... Hmmm... What could it be? Ah, yes! She is now running her soft brush in the moste candid shade of white, the same as gardenia petals. The woman touches the moist paper with such emotion that the creamy smell of flowers, along with a piece of her soul emerges near lilac and heliotrope flowers, perfecting the painting. The white Sun throws its white rays over the humid watercolor painting, gilding the floral bouquet with a silver glow. The flowers are frozen in time and as their petals colors combine harmoniously, their scent becomes palpable, filling the room, blending with the tranquility of winter days.

Opardu is one máster perfume more by puredistance. This fragance is very soft, powdery and a bit soapy and sweet. For my José innthe centre of the perfume are the gardenia, the tuberose and the Carnation with a very delicate lilac. The rest of flowers go together in a very Well blended scent. the cedarwood give some stability to the back phase. The performance is good. The longevity is high while the projection is very subtle. However It is noticeable for long time from short distances so i wouldnt say that It has a bad sillage. It is a very nice perfume for everyday use, perfect for spring of for summer when the sub is almost gone. Although the smell is a bit more femenine i think It could be a good option for guys Who LOVE perfumes like carnal flower or iris poudre, like me :). This is the most creamy flower I had the opportunity to test so far. It starts shy, slightly fresh, but then opens in the form of a sumptuous and precious bouquet, in which the shades of purple take the form of a degrade. The top notes are coordinated by the fresh and sharp lilac, the heart is made up of the sweet and powdery heliotrope, while the base sinks under the gardens of lactonic gardenias. No other note, from any other register excluding the floral, is not highlighted in Opardu's composition. Everything is a floral, powdery and lactonic paradise. I test it in parallel with Simone Cosac Ose, but Opardu is a much more refined, pure and creamy interpretation of lilac flower, like a mauve satin sheet that touches the thighs of a woman in the flower of age. I perceive Ose much sharper and greener.

It is a beautiful rich slightly vintage type of scent. I wish Puredistance scents weren't so darned expensive. Of course thats what keeps them exclusive. It's feminine beauty in a bottle. Very well blended. If I have to pick out notes then lilac, gardenia and loads of creamy musk. The scent of Venus perhaps. You can see the oils on your skin. It's a perfume oil rich beauty. I think it's ageless. It's certainly not old lady. The scent to wear on a romantic date to a formal venue. This fragrance will remind your oh (if they need reminding that is!) of your femininity. The perfect scent for your date nights. It has above average longevity but the sillage isn't much.

I just got a sample of Opardu - it is really lovely, with a transparent and rather surprising milky sweetness that comes on shortly after the fresh green floral opening. The green still lurks behind the milky/powdery effect as it develops. This is probably the most refined example of the floral woody musk genre I have tried to date, and the musk is definitely NOT of the all too common "laundry" type but rather a subtly sweet skin scent. This perfume is as smooth as glass and very easy to wear.

One of the few scents to truly surprise me. This is a refined light and clean lilac scent that blooms on your skin and keeps getting better and better. I was shocked to find out that its loveliness keeps developing even on the next day. It did not deteriorate one bit. It kept its freshness and lightness on and on. I associate lilac with the countryside but this lilac belongs in a palace. The most sophisticated creation. Opardu is in a category of its own. I adore it.

A floral shapeshifter: opens with a fresh purple lilac, middle turns to a heavy tuberose (yes, a little indolic too) with support from a good approximation of a gardenia. The dry down is all about a spicy white rose, with a sweet musk and woods. This is the full bouquet, very natural and easy to wear. A little formal and heavy for the tropics (where I am now) but still so lovely and worthy of a test run from anyone who loves quality florals.

I had the great priviledge of having been given a sample of this from a friend ;) and am blown away by its gorgeousness. It starts out with a stunningly realistic pollen-like lilac and is backed up by something clear and deep; like a flawless diamond or a deep pool of clear water - I am at a loss to describe it. Haven't smelled anything quite like it before. An outstanding composition I just might get it when employed again!

“April is the cruellest month, breeding lilacs out of the dead land, mixing memory and desire, stirring dull roots with spring rain. Winter kept us warm, covering earth in forgetful snow, feeding a little life with dried tubers”. T.S Elliot and his “The Waste Land” instantly popped up in my head, when I felt like revisiting this exquisite piece of flowery infatuation. I love everything about it. Everything.

This must be the most luxurious scent of its kind (lilac). The lilac is dominant, it feels creamy and fresh. The musk is baby powder clean and the cedar woodiness is sensuous and cosy, but not "warm". It's rounded and just right. Multifaceted. Hopelessly romantic. The composition is robust and you'll have a presence. Very feminine. Endless longevity.

Mmm, Opardu is very scrumptious! I smell lilac then gardenia. This is a very feminine scent. Sillage is not great however, on my skin. Most fragrances don't do well on my skin either with sillage or composition.... they go off. I do really enjoy this fragrance though as the notes seem to be right on! Great for spring!!

I luckily get the chance to try Opardu sample. Lovely rich floral, that is my first impression. Gardenia makes it quite milky and innocent. Also quite sweet. Dried to a powdery scent. Very intoxicating. Perfect for every occasion, but regarding the price, I will save it for special one.

A bit of a shampoo/ old fashioned church scent at first, but wait for it to develop. Opardu turns into a gorgeous, creamy, nectary floral. Ugh, I have to have it.

This Pure Parfum Extrait, sold in 32% Perfume Oil concentration, was conceived to remind the Paris of yore, through its nightlife full of beauty and seduction. It combines notes of tuberose absolute, gardenia, Bulgarian rose and purple lilac, on the output, with notes of carnation and Jasmine, in the heart, in addition to Heliotrope and cedar, in the base. If you don't like tuberose, run! Otherwise, prepare yourself to enjoy a true floral trip, which brings the opulence of this flower, followed by the aroma of the rose, that lingers throughout the evolution. So, about 30 minutes after applied on the skin, nuances of carnation begin to exhale. The fragrance becomes more balanced, different from the initial moments, which are intense. Another 30 minutes passed and the smooth and vanilly characteristic of Heliotrope arises, gracefully. I must confess that I was hoping for something more dated, in the Chypre-floral style from the past. But when the heart notes began to appear, the fragrance became a beautiful and refined floral. Opardu is a dual-sided perfume: initially, sensual. Then, almost innocent.

Opardu is a serious tuberose perfume, one for true lovers of this polarising flower. I think it’s fantastic. You won’t find sickeningly sweet bubblegum here, or cheap astringent tuberose accords, this is absolutely one of a kind. The tuberose is front and centre, powering through with a pronounced fleshy facet, which very subtly reminds me of Strangelove’s Silence the Sea weirdly, which shares a similar fleshiness. Thankfully, unlike the Strangelove, this is actually wearable; balanced beautifully by soapy white gardenia and jasmine, and a warm oriental base. This is stunning. Finally a floral which isn’t boring and one-dimensional, a tuberose which isn’t overly sweet or repulsive. I’m not sure I love it enough to spend the money on it, but I will certainly enjoy wearing my sample.

In my opinion, this has the perfect balance of crisp and powdery lilac-ness. A masterful play on the floral bouquet while foregrounding the solo star of the show. I have a bottle of scented Johnson and Johnson baby bedtime powder and Opardu shares some of that vibe: delicate newborn skin and peaceful slumber. BUT, that's where the similarities end. Opardu is intensely womanly, not virginal. This is a fragrance you wear with an evening gown, not a sundress. Heliotrope bolsters the lilac's innate powderiness while the tuberose keeps everything lively. Carnation lends an old-fashioned vintage veneer. Gardenia stands the middle ground, umpiring the drama between all these big shot florals. This expensive smelling perfume sparkles and beguiles.

- Blended well. White floral blast! Opens sharp lilac, but softens after a couple of minutes into crisp florals rounded by sweet notes. Heavenly. Smells like sugared lilacs and white florals. Drydown smells like marzipan. Divine but I cannot justify the price. I smell gardenia, heliotrope, tuberose, carnation and lilac. EDIT: Jan 2021. Omg I sprayed this fragrance on myself and I can smell beautiful whiffs of the most gorgeous lilac and gardenia/white floral blend I've ever smelled. I need a botte!! This fragrance is worth saving up for! Oh my!

Beautiful soapy lilacs and white flower bouquet. This is a lovely scent especially when sniffed from the nozzle: creamy and a tad dirty. Unfortunately when sprayed on my skin it turns too soapy. Where has that dirty indolic note gone??? Opardu is the only Puredistance fragrance that I esteemed worth buying. TBH, I’m not a fan of the tacky ads, the OTT packaging and ugly lab test tube bottles. I secretly wish this fragrance was offered by a brand with more style and class. *this is my opinion, on my skin and to my nose.

Very beautiful. Fresh fresh lilacs...soft powder...white florals dancing about. I don't get milky. Instead I feel the musk really pull through. I know others will not agree, but this reminds me of the movie Scent of a Woman when Al Paccino can smell the beautiful soap a woman is wearing in the restaurant. To me this is that scent. A gorgeous clean scent without the least bit of dirtiness. Worth the price??? To me no, but then scents and the way a person responds to them is so personal. Only the wearer can decide!!!

Opardu is very beautiful as the mature ultra femme superfloral that it is. Would be lovely to the opera or an event where dressing up fine is the standard. Lilacs in the front; tuberose in the back (nice combo) The drydown is much less floral; woodsy which makes the later part of the scent (four hours in) much more laid back and well suited for regular life. If i had the right lifestyle i would definitely wear this.

Delightful soapy bouquet of crisp, creamy, spring-like green, dewy florals, mainly lilac. Not heavy, very soapy. Projection is minimal, longevity quite moderate.

Delicate floral scent centered around tuberose. The perfume opens with the central tuberose surrounded by slight hints of lilac, rose and gardenia. As it evolves slight hints of other florals such as carnation and jasmine are detected. As it completely dries off heliotrope and slight cedar are detected as well. But overall it’s a subtle lactonic tuberose show from almost start to finish. The feminine leaning scent has moderate projection and good longevity. In spite of natural smelling florals it seems very pricey for what it offers. Enjoy!

I had a sample from Luckyscent. It is so indolic that I get the mothball scent on first sniff. I can’t get past the heavy indolic component, even after it settles down. I don’t like it.

Negative reviews are going to be short and sweet - well not exactly . Bought a sample based on many positive reviews and to me it’s just a blob of floral grandma powder . Can’t smell individual notes cause the powdery scent is so overpowering . Such a disappointment - way too expensive !

This is the most enchanting Puredistance for me. “White” was beautiful, but this one is out of this world, the kind of creamy floral I was looking for. With the first spray pump lilacs and heliotrope take centerstage immediately, both stay present during the rest of the drydown. My olfactory impressions in the first few hours I would describe as a blend of violet-coloured and white lilac blossoms, supported by the very gentle green and white velvety touch of a mild gardenia. As soon as the fragrance melts with warm skin, it seems to develop an ethereal warm glow, as if the sun was shining through it. Heliotrope adds a touch of expected powdery softness and supports the natural sweetness of the lilac blossoms. What I like best about this fragrance is the background surrounding the blooming “lilac bush”. There are some beautiful peppery-spicy nuances that probably stem from carnations. Hard to put into words, this spicy streak seems to add a sort of freshness and vibrating energy to the perfume. There seems to be a soft, milky-creamy cloud wavering around the lilacs, as well. My impression is of velvety and very tender, clean, white gardenia and jasmine petals, mixed with a bright tuberose. Though there is a heavy load of white blossoms in the composition, it never turns buttery, heavy or stuffy and there are no indolic traces. All I experience are soft, naturally sweet and clean flower petals dancing on my skin. The fragrance is breathtakingly beautiful, a ray of clean, warm light shining on a fantasy garden full of pastel-coloured flowers and fluffy, creamy-dreamy white clouds on the horizon, with the whole picture shrouded in a transparent rosy hue. There is a charming sort of bright shimmer in this fragrance that is hard to grasp and hard to describe; it reminds me of the luxurious shimmer of pearls. Okay, let’s face it: It is an expensive perfume, but for me this ultra-feminine, tender and bright summer day in a bottle is worth every cent. If you are into creamy soft florals, then give this a try. The sillage is elegant, longevity far above average. I experience the scent as prominent and pretty strong but never as loud. It’s sort of “atmospheric” with a noticeable diffusion. Noticeable, yes, but without being obtrusive. I would describe it as a soft, tender and subtle veil around the wearer. “Opardu” gets definitely noticed and draws others closer to find out what the good smell is all about.

اوپاردو چیست؟ نمایشی بی نقص و واقع گرایانه از رایحه گل لی لاک در نهایت خلوص و کیفییت . عطری به غایت تحسین برانگیز و زیبا . عطرهایی که قدرتشون رو روی نت ها و اکورد فلورال میگیرند برای من همیشه بشدت قابل احترام و تحسین برانگیز بوده و هستند . در واقع من برای خودم ی معیار کیفی دارم که همیشه سنگ محک کیفییت و تبحر برندی رو روی عطرهای فلورالش بکشم . این ژانر عطرهای فلورال که قدرت خودشون رو وابسته به هیچ نتی جز نت های فلورال نمیگیرند بسیار کمیاب و گرون هستند معمولا ‌ . مثل عطر ل آتسا از ماسک میلانو شاید هم کمتر برندی جرات استفاده از اور دوز ابسولوت ها و روغن های گل‌های کمیاب و گرون بکنه . طبیعیه این ژانر کار کردن گرون تموم میشه و فقط مارک های لوکس و صاحب نام از پس تولید این چنین عطرهایی بر میان. اوپاردو بمب لی لاکه .نتی که اینچنین با این شدت و کیفیت رو حداقل من تا امروز ندیدم بالای 80% درصد این عطر رو رایحه لی لاک تشکیل میده . یک ربع بعد از اسپری تو غوغای بوی لی لاک . اکوردی وایت فلورال با حسی نیمچه ایندولیک از گاردنیا و یاس ترکیب میشه با لی لاک . بعد از نیم ساعت حسی بالمی و کرمی شکل میگیرهو بعد از یکساعت کمپلکسی متمولانه از ترکیب گل‌های ناب تا انتها صورت میگیره که باز هم غلبه کلی رایحه با گل لی لاک هست . من وقتی این عطرو با دقت زیاد زیر نظر داشتم . مرتب بیاد ی عطر می افتادم که خیلی وقت پیش داشتم . آهان ... پور د زیر لی لاک از ایوروشه . اون عطر هم همینطور کاملا فلورال و بدور از وابستگی به نت های مزاحم بود . البته غنای این عطر کجا و ایوروشه کجا . یادتون باشه که مارک پیور دستنس طبق ادعای خودش پا رو فراتر از استاندارهای دنیا گذاشته و عطرهاشو با غلظتی 25 تا 32 پرفیوم میسازه . ولی کیفییت رایحه و دقت و ظرافت بوی لی لاک پیور دیستنس دقیقا همون عطر ایوروشه بود . بعضی از عطرها انقدر نوبل و شاهکار طراحی میشند که آدم واژه کم میاره برای بیان حسش من این عطر رو تشبیه میکنم به الماس که ناب ترینه بین سنگها اوپاردو هم جزو نابهای دنیای عطرهای فلوراله. اگه به رایحه گل لی لاک علاقمند هستید و به قیمت بالای این عطر هم فکر نمیکنید بسم الله ... بهترین عطر دنیا با رنگ ارغوانی گل‌های لی لاک و غنایی شگرف و کیفیتی تحسین برانگیز انتظار شما رو می‌کشه . .

So today I'm wearing the very expensive Opardu by Puredistance. I will start by saying that it's way overpriced. It is a lovely scent, don't get me wrong, but it is nothing out of the ordinary. I would never pay $197 for 17ml of this. Opardu is a smooth, clean, musky and milky blend of lilac and gardenia. It is indeed very feminine and pretty, however the projection is fairly soft, almost like that of a skin-scent. I also find it quite linear in terms of composition, with very little distinction made between the heart and drydown. Opardu is sure to be a hit with white floral lovers, or even those that enjoy the scent of lilac. It's slightly indolic, without smelling too dirty. Annie Buzantian has done well to compose such a pleasant and natural fragrance, although I do wish it had more character. I'm not surprised that Annie also composed Estee Lauder's Sensuous EDP and Pleasures. Now that I think of it, Opardu does have an Estee Lauder vibe. It's almost like she took Pleasures as her inspiration, removed the complexity and used better quality ingredients to create Opardu. I was about to recommend Opardu for the Spring and Summer months, when I reconsidered it for Autumn. Its lack of sweetness and freshness makes it quite suitable for cold weather also. As you would expect from such an expensive fragrance, the longevity is superb. The packaging is also quite extraordinary. Even the sample of Opardu came in a small magnetic box, nestled into an elegant concavity covered in smooth, grey fabric. Very luxurious.

SOTE: I blogged on twenty seven seven scents about this because, well, it makes absolutely NO DIFFERENCE what the notes are, because they are so skillfully blended in this beautiful perfume that I doubt anyone could duplicate it. From the second I sprayed I was snapped back and propelled forward like Ellie Arroway in "Contact", I was being thrown through time and space in a state of absolute, cosmic stillness and peace. I am everything and everyone, and everything and everyone is me. Feminine, lush, full life cycle, cream laden, waxy, pregnant, heavy, heady, green jungle foliage dripping blood heat rain, steam and stone, silence and cacophony, inside the earth, inside the mother, feet in the ground, head in the stratosphere, soul right here, right now, the past, the future, there is no time. This perfume is art, it's transcendent. Wanna know about the notes? In the movie, "Avatar", the night scene in the jungle, the luminosity, you can taste the heady lushness with your eyes, your eyes widen to feast on it. Look up at the night sky, it's full of stars, each one a white, scent laden flower and they are all in full bloom - raining down their scent across the universe. Go to youtube and put "Aurora - Across the Universe - Like a version". Then be still and really listen. Listen to the harmonies, their delicate intricacy, seamless transitions... the sound of Opardu is Transcendent, Universal, Of this world, not of this world. Opardu just IS.

Opardu is an especially beautiful fragrance with a fascinating composition. The first two times I wore it I did not fully appreciate it. What I initially thought was a bit strange in the opening notes is a gorgeous heliotrope which I had never smelled in such a fresh and realistic composition. These initial heliotrope and lilac notes are joined by a peppery carnation. Since these notes are not usually smelled together the juice may smell a little pollenish and animalic initially, but this phase passes quickly. The tuberose and gardenia become really beautiful after a couple of hours. The heliotrope and lilac are especially lovely in the topnotes and throughout the development. This fragrance leaves Malle's powdery En Passant in the dust, literally. Opardu is so much more beautiful than the indolic En Passant, at least to my nose. The white florals become more dominant in the drydown but you can still smell the other notes as well. This fragrance is really special in the purity and beauty of the florals. You have to wear it a few times to really appreciate it. It is subtle, classic and the longer I wear this, the more I realize its amazing beauty and uniqueness. It's perfume like no one else makes anymore. Sheer perfection for floral lovers. It is FB worthy.

This smells so vintage! It's a real floral blockbuster and I LOVE it. This is extremely retro opening with STRONG florals and although I'm sure some of the ingredients must be synthetic, it doesn't small that way at ALL. I suspect lilac and lily and some gardenia are in here and something green (freesia?) but I'm not really good at breaking out notes. It also, to my nose, has a hefty dose of civet in the base. This is perfume (and it is an extrait) for grownup bombshells. It lasts a good while (on skin about 5 hours) and projection is moderate. I only had a sample and dabbed it, no idea how it would behave sprayed and on fabric. This is just so glorious and to my mind a perfect fragrance, I wouldn't change a thing (except I'd get Pure Distance to send it to me free LOL) This isn't cheap but remember it is pure perfume and extremely concentrated. Destined to become a classic, trading on eBay for thousands if they ever discontinue or mess with the formulation. Love, love, love! On my list it goes!

I've never reacted to a fragrance like I did to this one. It took 3 or 4 wearings before I had an epiphany. It reminded me of my grandmother. Not because it's old-fashioned or dated, but because it's light, beautiful, and it just makes me smile. It doesn't hurt that it has many of my favorite notes. The best way to describe Opardu on me is to say it's a light version of Cashmere Mist with the lightest touch of lilac. On me, the lilac stays, which I love. After the dry-down, it becomes a skin scent. Every few minutes, I get a soft whiff of it and I love it. Is it worth the price? Oh yes. Definitely. I ordered my bottle and am anxiously awaiting its arrival from The Netherlands. If anyone has samples they don't want, I'll happily take them off your hands. :-)

Opardu for me is a reference lilac fragrance, it might remind you of other lilac fragrances such as Lilac Love and Sweet Morphine but it is much superior IMO. It opens with a sweet creamy Gardenia accord that stays for a few minutes before the lilac dominates the scent with its innocent sweet waxy slightly powdery scent. Behind the lilac are the creamy tuberose (Which becomes more prominent from the mid to the drydown) and the powdery heliotrope (Which appears after some time). There is a noticeable spiciness in the background coming from the carnation making the scent more interesting and as in most of Puredistance fragrances, there is that clean musky accord in the drydown.

Starts non sweet florals, bit more present Carnation, think Widian Hili main lane, and will pair'em, would for sure fine tune a nice fusion. Smooth Liliac activates amongst the perfect high grade woods. Understand now the complexity hallmark in the Puredistances, got the stages, got the tandem accords then switches lanes onward. Pretty spectacular. On the Opardu get a clear set journey, tones down the Liliac, keeps the woods and brings the Carnation back, so a lot of distinct back and forth as all warms up and sure enough announces the most cozy vast dry down. Will try again in two weeks, if that's the standard behaviour in this, it's a movie.

Powdery? Creamy? I'm starting to wonder if my sample was mislabeled. Judging by the notes and reviews I expected this to be something like Dusita Melodie de l'Amor with added lilac and heliotrope. Instead I got something cool and green and almost cold, like the opening of SL Un Lys, and it stayed that way. On me, this smelled closer to Un Lys or Carnal Flower than En Passant. Lilac fans who hate powder should definitely try this, but the lilac was not at all dominant for me.

I wanted to try Opardu for the longest time and now... it smells so cheap and synthetic? Like a drugstore cheapie... It opens with ''lilacs'' (lilacs in perfumery always end up smelling like nail polish remover it seems), similar to En Passant (also a nail polish scent), and then it settles into a cheap, boring coconutty tuberose/white floral. Awful. It's a big disappointment, but at least now I know to avoid lilac notes in fragrances like the plague. Overpriced.

I see a 31 yo Carol Alt in the 80s wearing a short fur coat in the airport heading for a plane to catch! It is a very 80s vintage floral blend with that clean grassy gardenia, super blast lilac, heliotrope, geranium, and roses. It's very soapy, musky floral with touch of salt. Very white floral and i can't detect any jasmines. Beautiful indeed.

photorealistic white lilac mono-scent, very soapy. we used to have lilacs around the house when I was a kid, so the smell is very familiar. as much as I enjoy it, I cannot justify the price. its literally one soapy note, average lasting power UPD try it in the heat - it smells out of this world! Oh, I like this one a lot! It's a fresh take on tuberose and gardenia, with their greenish undertones, accompanied by a very realistic lilac. The drydown is slightly powdery bit it's still like an opulent spring/summer bouquet. Lovely through and through although still difficult to justify the price tag...

Seriously? Soap?!! My sample cost me £10 and if I blind tested it, I'd not pay a quid for it. Can't believe the reviews are raving about this generic mediocre lotv soap nonsense heavy on modern white musks... If you want to get a proper old school perfume, you'd be disappointed, just like me.

Wow wow wow !!! This perfume is simply amazing, no words can describe the utter magic that swirls around this divine concoction. 1000% worth the price Reminds me of a very rich and very warm hearted woman who wears Tiffany pearls while watering and tending to her many flower gardens

Windows open. It is spring and birds sings in the tree tops. Taking a power nap, naked on clean bed sheets. A beauty, but makes me feel I am still wearing diapers (at 31). I picture a woman in her forties or even fifties. A soapy vintage that is blended to perfection. Later Opardu!

Nostalgic in a good way, Old-fashioned in a bad way, An over-priced nutrition cream scent or an 80's, 90's soap scent. Terpenic, cinnamic, eugenol of old style lilac, and thick white floral from Anais Anais (Cacharel). That's all. the price is ludicrous and ridiculous.

To me, Opardu is like a younger timid sister of Samsara. She prefers wearing white, unlike her wild sis, who's keen on red. Gentle and tender, handing the sweet smiles to everyone, loved by everyone, that's our shining girl Opardu.

Beautiful fresh spring florals. Something about it reminds me of Kenzo, perhaps the powdery heliotrope. Really gorgeous creamy and fresh too. Not overpowering tuberose which I worry about, just makes this creamy.

-Delicious scent. -Dries down to a coconut note with a waxy quality to it. -This is a cross between Korrigan by Lubin and Lilac Love by Amouage (Perhaps 65% Korrigan + 35% Lilac)

Very impressive, powdery, soft floral vanillic. Quite green, I smell a lot of fresh spring lilacs. Reminds me of En Passant by Frederic Malle.
