This Pure Parfum Extrait, sold in 27% of Perfume Oil concentration, was launched in 2016, inspired by the (almost endless) vision of the golden sands of the desert during sunset. The dunes and their curves, symbolizing the feminine side of the fragrance, the warm side of the colors that go between red and gold, the Persian rugs, symbolizing the masculine side and the encounter between sensuality and style. Its name is a junction of the words "She", "Sheika" and "Dune". In addition, it has the same cadence of the word "seduction". Sheiduna has notes of lemon, tangerine, blackcurrant, aldehydes, Bulgarian rose essence, geranium, clove, vetiver, patchouli, amber woods, incense, benzoin, myrrh, tonka bean, vanilla pods and musks. When touches the skin, Sheiduna behaves like several other niche perfumes inspired in the Middle East. For many, there is no innovation. But it is the first Puredistance’s fragrance created in this style - with an eye in the competition - after the house has launched floral and chypre opulent perfumes. On my skin, the output is not too dry, because the tangerine note imparts lightness and a slightly fruity and juicy facet. The blend of the rich Bulgarian rose essence with the notes of clove and patchouli gives an oriental and different content to the other niche perfumes, which usually mix roses with saffron, for example. It is the feminine touch of the perfumer Cécile Zarokian, without doubt. In the end, although it contains vanilla pods, the base is incensed, with a lot of myrrh. And the fragrance, although replete with quality raw materials, loses power (projection) very quickly, unfortunately. But with regard to durability, a simple spray is enough to ensure 12 hours of lasting on the skin. Sheiduna was created for women, for sure. But it resulted in a unisex perfume, like few of the house. Fortunately, niche perfumery goes against market factors and separation by gender, facilitating acceptance by men and women without distinction. The bottle follows the visual pattern (mega luxurious) of Puredistance and gained red paint, reinforcing the concept of desert and sensuality. Along with Puredistance M, they are my favorites so far.

I just cannot express my love for this perfume enough. This is just... PERFECTION! It just does something to my body, I get goosebumps smelling it, I get this overwhelming feeling of satisfaction it just fills all the empty places in my body and makes me feel so so so amazing. This is warm, very very rich, and opulent scent, amazingly sexy.... a grown-up sexy scent that creates a true niche aura, very very luxurious scent, you can sense the quality immediately after spraying. Perfection for evening time and autumn/winter season. To me, this smells like the most beautiful dark blue night, a bit exotic and oriental. It's such a deep perfume I just cannot.... Such an alluring perfume. It stays on your skin for ages!!!!! Super long lasting beast, just a tiny spray of this perfume on my hair filled the whole room. IT IS POTENT! So don't mind the price, get 17.5ml ( the smallest size) and I promise it will last you for quite some time as you need just 2-3 sprays max! The projection and longevity is SUPERB! Cécile Zarokian is one of the perfumer's whose work I follow and admire pretty much everything she created. To me this is one of her best best best creations, it's such a beautiful work I don't have enough words to thank the perfumer for this adventure that this perfume takes me on. The scent itself is deep deep dark sweet amber with warm spices that changes and evolves throughout the day. This perfume is a journey, an experience you just have to try at least once in your life. I think people really make a mistake trying it on a blotter or sniffing it from a bottle... Listen people this changes a lot! If you have an opportunity to try this in a perfume boutique, spray it on your skin, somewhere on your clothing and I guarantee you will be absolutely blown away after a while. #1598 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Got this decant from scentsplit.com because the note combination looked interesting and attractive, and in fact it is. But at $245 and up for 60ml, this stuff is not cheap, so you'd definitely try before you buy. It would be nice if you could get a $15 scent like Lattafa "Khaltaat Al Arabia" that smells just like this. But I had Khaltaat. A nice scent. A girlfriend ended up with it. It really doesn't smell like this. This is all-day-long-lasting and has surprising room-filling sillage without getting cloying. Opens as a rosy-fruity-vanilla incense. If you took out the myrrh and incense this would fit in with sainted Versace EDTs like "Green Jeans", "Black Jeans", "White Jeans", which to me, regardless of their marketing focus, were all very unisex, though "White Jeans" leaned more feminine, as does this scent. More rose than I prefer, but not at a "grandma juice" level. In fact, this scent has amazing and uncommon balance between the notes. If you're a woman for whom money is no object, I'd say, "Hell yes, you should get this." And I think most guys can wear this. If a girlfriend gave me this, I'd wear it for her. Otherwise, it's something I'd get for a more than casual girlfriend, not for myself. Good Luck and Good Hunting!

The first Puredistance fragrance I ever got a hold of, Sheiduna blew me off my feet on the first try. The sniff of the bottle is not really promising, but the skin provides the perfect canvas to this work of art. Two sprays are more than enough for the scent to be noticed in a room two doors apart (talking from experience) and for up to two days. It immediately reminded me of east and their exotic spices, while the orange (tangerine) brings so much needed freshness into the composition. As the time goes by, the scent becomes more and more powdery. Throughout her performance, Sheiduna is a spicy wooden seductress that gives out some sweetness as a bait to her opulent resins. So far, she managed to capture the attention of my nose. I can agree that this reminds of Amouage Epic Woman, but the two perfumes are not similar in essence. Fetes Persanes is a bit similar about the spices and Khol the Bahrein gives out the similar powdery vibe, but all of these are different enough for me to own each of them, at this moment.

First of all i have to say that i LOVE this kind of scents and sheiduna is one of the BEST ones that i have tried. Very ambery, dense and balsamic. A real oriental pleasures. The opening is a bit fresher with some aldehides and the tangerine but It turns fast un a very rich and sweet amber & incense mix. In one hand is lovely but i have the problem that i have a perfume which smells almost the same: khol de Bahrein by stephane Humbert Lucas. The SHL is a bit sweeter and a bit more powdery because It has a lot of iris but in general is very very similar. And It is although very close to Velvet amber skin by dolce gabanna. So even when i really LOVE this perfume It has not a place on my collection. However id you dont have any of those perfumes this can be a great option for you. The longevity is very good and It has a soft sillage. I think It can be very versatile for those Who like this kind of scents. The problem with working through a discovery set from a house such as Puredistance, is that you end up with a very expensive wishlist, because they’re all absolutely sensational perfumes. Sheiduna is no different, it is utterly stunning, yet far more softly spoken and reserved than most of their other offerings. This scent opens with dried, candied Orange peel, alongside soft hints of vanilla and warm spice. Soon after, a delicate and pulpy red rose emerges alongside dry resins and incense. The projection is very soft throughout yet lasts an impressively long time, and it’s so amazingly smooth it’s actually very difficult to pick out many specifics from the breakdown. This is yet another from Puredistance that I want a full bottle of. It’s beautifully sensual and inviting, incredibly romantic and really pulls you in each time you smell it. I hate that I love this house so much because it’s going to cost me so much money!

It is again an incredibly wonderful scent from Puredistance! Just simply wow! Now, I truly can't chose only one favorite perfume from this brand, because they only make "wow" fragrances. All of them are perfect and beautiful on their own different way. Sheiduna is so unique, so special in a beautiful way. A perfume inspired of the desert, and it shows the most beautiful side of the desert. Exotic, oriental, romantic, mysterious. When I sniff it, I almost can see in front of me the desert, and every nice thing what belongs to it. This fragrance is so warm, sweet in the most pleasant way. This scent is calming and call you an adventure at the same time.

As I've read in offering of PD:"A rich and intense parfum inspired by the sensatios evoked by majestic golden sandunes in the desert during sunset-soft curves changing from deep gold to warm red." Althouhg I only tested it briefly, it smelled beautiful; unisexy, sensual and rounded. I imagine Sheherazade wearing Sheiduna as she enthralled the Persian king for 1001 nights. Mary Gooding, who hosted the party did not disclose much information on Top, Mid and Base Notes, but there is labdanum, clove and a tiny bit of cumin. Sheiduna has excellent longevity and lovely sillage."

Luxury in their natures form. Seems highly authentic, i have not smelled anything like this, i still heave not tried Simbad Lubin or DG Velvet Amber Skin, but comparation with Tango Masque Milano has absolutely no sense to me, Sheiduna s way more better and overall complettly different. Smokey tangerine (with the some warm spices from background) is the mostly i pick up. It is blended to perfection and it could be good pick for the most demanding persons. Dark, smooth and misterious with an extraordinary perfomances.

My god is this beautiful. At first it feels a bit like an expensive, but somewhat generic men's cologne and then it does a total 180 an ends up in this beautiful (almost sandlwoody?) creamy woods area with cedar and roasted orange peel. Just simply gorgeous. Comforting. The price is a bit much, but I could see myself buying it if I had those resources.

A true hidden gem Experiencing this fragrance would benefit anyones fragrance journey It’s simply so sensational to smell this fragrance and it absolutely thrives in the cold. As a man, this is a show-stopper, very sexy, perfectly unisex; perhaps an acquired taste to some not used to the genre “oriental”. Nasal narcotics

I enjoyed this one. It was particularly unique and I have certainly not smelt it anywhere before. Very intense, rich and has its depths. However, I felt the ingredients were too mashed up. Wish I could breakdown the notes to appreciate this better. 7/10

Very rich and unique smell. You cannot easily figure out the notes. Gives you a lot of smells and senses when wearing it. Last very long time on clothes and skin as well. Thr bottom line is this is a best deepest fragrance I have ever smelled.

My favorite rose scent. Sexy, alluring and mysterious. The opening tangerine and spice note melds into a beautiful, sweet rose. So well balanced. It surprises me how underground Pure Distance is as a house.

Its not something new or original but i like it, Smells Like Mon Nom Est Rouge By Majda Bekkali Without The Cumin and less dry, also the same perfumer did both of those perfumes 9/10

"Around the word at one sniff" Sheiduna offers us a ticket to great, olfactory journey. We’ll be visiting different lands and nothing will hide from our nose. We’re starting in the Middle East, where we’re travelling across lemon groves surrounded by the freshness of yellow fruits. After a moment we’re at European, wild, green fields full of chamomile and blackcurrant. Crossing over the Strait of Gibraltar, we’re visiting sunny Marocco, where Sheiduna gives us the most authentic scent of mandarin I’ve ever smelt in perfumes. After that, we’re going south where’s a fresh and bracing geranium. And then, we’re smelling a whiff of oriental and gentle sweetness. Could it be famous Madagascar's vanilla? No, it’s a creamy smell of tonka bean from across the Atlantic. But we’ve no time to stay there because the Orient is waiting for us. Oriental base with warm spices and pleasant incenses. So overwhelming that we finally want to go home. Sheiduna is for me one more proof of unusual skills and a great talent of Cecile Zarokian, who again managed to create a big piece of perfumery art – well composed, elegant, balanced with a charming evolution. The art that we want to use and sometimes just “set our nose” on it enjoying every nuance. Thank you, Cecile! Thank you for taking us on this wonderful journey!

Pleasant but fairly standard chypre style composition centered around a balsamic rose. The perfume opens with aldehydes, mandarin, lemon and cloves. It transitions to the central rose surrounded by black currant, synthetic amber, patchouli and vanilla. It settles on a powdery bed of vetiver, myrrh, tonka bean, synthetic musk. A bit pricey for what is being offered here, and not striking enough to stand out from most rose chypres. The slight feminine leaning perfume has moderate sillage and projection and very good longevity. Enjoy!

This is pure chaos and I'm kind of into it. It's smoky, sweet, fruity, and a wee bit musky. Give it a minute, and the vanilla will come to the fore as well. That said, there's something just slightly off for me — maybe the fruitiness could be dialed down a bit so that it would blend better with the other elements. I won't be going full bottle, but I will definitely enjoy wearing the rest of the sample.
