Warszawa is a very special scent. It is flowery, with a very nice and pleasant Jasmine and with a drier and a bit peachy mix of galbanum and broom. So it smells for me a bit like a forest un spring. The base is Woody and creamy with the patchouli and the veriver. The final mix is very elegant and It make me think of some femenine perfumes from the past, although i think this one can be oerfectly worn by a man. It is Also powdery, sweet and a bit soapy. The longevity is very good, as in most puredistance perfumes, with a very soft and subtle projection. Very versatile! A feminine, elegant perfume that makes you feel special. Perfect for those who love powdery and creamy scents. It lasts long and leaves a refined trail. Best suited for evening events, concerts, or special meetings. It can also be worn daily, but it always feels “special.” For me, it’s a fragrance that should always have a place in my collection—it will always be something truly special. ❤️

This is a very complex flowery scent for me showing the glam side of life. Suits well for evening programs and in the Opera-not for everyday using- it is extremely beautifule and rich composition, has huge sillage and lasts for days-on clothes for mounths. Very feminin from the 90-s. A Big Love!!!

That is a very elegant, classy scent. Unique and beautiful. Calming and pleasant, green and a little bit sweet. Like a walk in a beautiful, large garden in summer. This perfume is classic and modern at the same time. It is a very happy and optimistic scent in my opinion. Simply wonderful!

Warszawa is described as evoking the chic golden days of fashion and perfume among the classy women of Warsaw. It certainly has an air of classicism about it, but it doesn’t necessarily feel vintage or outdated, it’s rather impressive and yet I can’t decide whether I like it or not. As it opens you think you’re getting another vintage-style soapy floral with a heady powdery edge, but it soon develops into something far more complex. The soapiness is quickly overcome by a thickness, dense flower petals and a leathery orris backbone alongside just a touch of greenness. I find it very dramatic. It sort of has the effect of one of those artisan goats milk soap bars - clean and floral, yet remains very dense and milky, with a strong suggestion of thick musk in the base. This is a perfume which demands more than one wear to form a complete opinion.

It's an interesting and pleasant scent. The familiar coconutty broom dominates with the jasmine and iris following closely. The coconut eases a little and then I get the kick from the violet leaf and galbanum. That keeps it bright and fresh. Notes might fade but the coconutty broom stays with patch and get over to the end. The patch and vetiver are way at the back. I like it but it's not a love. I agree that it's very unisex. I get good longevity but the sillage isn't very good in this warm room.

The first few moments it smells like banana! ... and resembles a gardenia. Galbanum green, sweet, fresh. Sparkling with violet leaves, citrus and with a strong indole jasmine. It is bright, full, a little vintage of broom, balsamic stirax patchouli and soapy scents in the base. Not my favorite notes but well done. Well blended, dense, loaded, showy with jasmine bubbling in the drydown. Feminine 90s. Bold.

I can tell that this fragrance has been perfected. It's all about galbanum. - It opens with heavy green galbanum, then crisp white florals. Earthy drydown. It smells so clean and pure and perfect. The patchouli is clean and in the background so doesn't overpower the fragrance in anyway.

Mild, feminine floral bomb 💣 🌺 Almost left a lower rating because of how subtle and fleeting this fragrance is, but it's pleasant enough. 🙂 The green undertone can get a bit nauseating as it dries down. I suppose that's weather dependant.

An aromatic floral scent which has an vintage feminine sophistry to it. The scent opens briefly with citrusy aromatic grapefruit, galbanum and crushed violet leaves. The dense heart is mostly jasmine and broom with hints of iris. The perfume settles on an earthy powdery bed of vetiver, styrax and patchouli. The feminine leaning scent has moderate to strong projection and good longevity. Overall it leaves me mixed. It’s a nice feminine floral scent with a vintage yet modern feel it. But for this price there are many better options out there. Enjoy!

The opening is great, but the dry down was not nice for me

Warszawa is my hometown. I'm happy that such a perfume has been released. Today I had the chance to test it and I'm really impressed! When I'm smelling is on my arm, the pictures that come to my mind are ones of the Old Town and Plac Teatralny in Warsaw back in the 1920 or earlier, with horse carriages, ladies in long, elegant gowns, smart gentlemen, gas lanterns, I see dark, monumental corridors and theatre halls lit by candles, the orchestra tuning their instruments, the people taking their seats and preparing for the concert... Magic is in the air! This magic smells mossy, earthy, herbal, chypre, perfectly deep, dark and mysterious, slightly dry but it's the patchouli - dry-smelling by nature. Amazing journey back in time!

This one opens aldehydic and full of lush, complex spring floral notes (lily of the valley?) and then becomes a lactonic, sweet white floral with a strong banana flavor. Almost overripe, definitely bordering on annoying. I feel a lot of harsh synthetics even though this is clearly a perfume in a rich “vintage” style. Like Sheiduna in that quality of sweet layered plushness with a chemical edge. Supposedly this is inspired by the “women of Poland” and their old-fashioned femininity; it’s definitely hitting that maternal, ladylike note. A soft, sweet white floral in the same “squishy” vein as L’Air du Temps. Not my thing, but very much the ultimate expression of the thing it is.

Smells like a very cheap toilet cleaning product.

This Pure Parfum Extrait, sold in 25% Perfume Oil concentration, was released in December 2016, but its worldwide sale is scheduled for November 2017. This was because its fragrance, which took about two years to be developed, was crafted in exclusive collaboration with Quality Missala Perfumery, one of the most important perfumeries in Europe and distributor of niche brands in Poland. Because of this partnership, the company won the right to sell the fragrance, exclusively, one year before the rest of the world. The name Warszawa pays tribute to Warsaw and the fragrance was inspired by the class and elegance of Polish women and the rich history of Warsaw, reminiscent of the glamor of an era in which clothes, jewelry and perfumes made woman an object of desire and admiration (no sexism implicit). Warszawa has notes of galbanum, grapefruit, violet leaves, jasmine absolute, broom absolute, iris butter, patchouli, vetiver and styrax. By touching the skin, Warszawa transports us back to another time, in which fur coats, pearl earrings and gloves showed power and social status. No matter how incorrect it may seem to us today, some images and actions were important to the market and to commerce in general. For example, the simple act of smoking a cigarette has already been seen as something refined and glamorous. For this reason, the so-called "old movies" are still successful and touch the imagination of many people. The fragrance of Warszawa goes toward this place - hidden in the fantasy of many women -, recovering the sensuality and the dormant femininity, amid so many boring (and also not funny or bright) creations that the modern perfumery continues presenting us. Here we have a powerful floral and fruity chypre, in which the absolute of jasmine exudes mercilessly between fruity (grapefruit) and green nuances (galbanum and vetiver). However, in my opinion, the great secret of this composition comes from the giesta/Broom (Spartium Junceum), with its luminous and floral facets, which resemble orange blossom in an instant, and honey, soon thereafter. The perfumer behind Warszawa is Antoine Lie, also responsible for the fragrances of Puredistance Black and Puredistance White. He had, as background, the chords of Nocturne No. 20 (by Chopin) and managed to create a mutant fragrance of timeless elegance, which seems to exhale in different ways at each point of application. Sometimes it evolves into a luxurious scent of soap; in moments, it gains powdery and creamy nuances that exhale for hours on the skin. Warszawa corresponds to the taste of women who carry passion for floral-chipres from the 80s and 90s, such as Amarige (Givenchy) or Yvresse (YSL). Here, the sophistication is shaped like a velvet dress, with hair stuck, discreet makeup and triumphal entry through the halls. A special perfume for more demanding women!

This is so beautiful! I think I am on Puredistance perfume cloud as I found myself liking every scent from them more and more. Warszawa to me is a luxurious soupy a bit greenish floral and a little bit sweet scent. It's so reminiscent and nostalgic in a way, and I guess this perfume would be appreciated more by a more mature crowd for those reasons. By the way I'm in my 30s and I love it. I am the biggest fan of Boucheron pour femme, and at the beginning Warszawa kind of reminded me of that perfume, they are not similar but the vibes feel the same, I would put them in the same category. Later on, the scent turns out a bit creamy, and the iris note becomes more prominent, I don't get a lot of galbanum or vetiver notes, not even in the beginning, the scent doesn't feel harsh or sharp as a lot of perfumes with more dominant vetiver note may turn out. Here the scent is very balanced and feels creamy and soft, the floral notes I would say are the dominant notes throughout the wearing time. I found this kind of scent very suitable for the now so popular 'quiet luxury' style. It gives very high-class, sophisticated, rich vibes. I love this very clean and polished to the smallest details feeling. It truly is a scent for perfection and I just love how Warszawa doesn't feel outdated at all, feels modern. I kind of imagine a woman who lives in New York and is pretty well-established wearing this kind of scent. I see this compared to Yvress, but to me, Yvress has more fruity notes, while here... I would think if you mix Boucheron pour femme and Guerlain - L'heure Bleue you may get something similar. Very beautiful perfume, love this! This should definitely be praised more!

I usually take my time to wear a fragrance. To ”listen” what it has to say. I always like to let a perfume become a part of me in order to decide if we are soulmates. Sometimes it works and we become inseparable, sometimes it does not and all I am left with are a few bittersweet memories. I think that cold weather is perfect for the fragrance to develop, because it reveals its magic in the crisp, rather misty air. Warszawa is a classic, like an ode to women from the past. I find it to be rather melancholic, but that makes it even more beautiful. When I wear it, I picture myself on the streets of Poland, wearing a dark green dress, a hat and an umbrella. I am heading to nowhere, but I love to listen to the sound of my high heels shoes on the cobbled streets. As I walk, I raise my head just a bit under the umbrella, enough to observe the old buildings that surround me and imagine the lives of the people living inside. As for the scent itself, Warszawa features a big bouquet of mostly white flowers, but without being cloying or old fashioned. It also develops a green, soapy facet on my skin. I find it pretty hard to describe, as it is a very smooth and homogeneous composition. You will have to wear it yourself in order to discover some of its secrets. Warszawa is certainly a journey back in time.

While I would not call this a gardenia scent, it possesses many of the qualities I associate with the overall feeling of pressing my nose to a gardenia flower: rich, creamy, heady, dense, mature, exclusive, and characteristic of an older time. It also has a faint quality of a very expensive soap you might find in the women's lounge of an unspecified European palace. As some have noted above, the blending is exquisite and its sophistication suits any age. It strikes me as unabashedly feminine but I would be intrigued to catch it on a man. I purchased a cofrette of Puredistance fragrances, and all the Pd scents deliver on quality and complexity. This one is one of my favorites in a sample box of 8, along with Antonia and I. Reading the notes listed up top ^ I catch the ozonic quality, and perhaps the green note is what endears this to me most, as vintage Chanel 19 is one of my favorite fragrances.

Where are the peaches! apricots? These notes can't be the only ones! i keep on sniffing apricots, and peaches as the ones in "Fusion Sacree Clair" by Majda Bakkali over and over, besides the sweet grapefruit, and the galbanum & the jasmines can't be the dominant note besides, the jasmines in here are the Syrian type, which are more soft and tender than the Thai & Indian ones! This is conflicting! it's a sweet green field, so imagine a painting hanged on the wall of a very rich green field that doesn't give a simple idea of any kind of sweetness and at the same time there is someone in the room who is wearing a mildly sweet yet sharp perfume! simple as that! conflicting yet attractive. Eventually, it is impressive and quite amusing, but try not to spray more than 2 sprays or you'll get suffocated. a 17.5 ml is quite fair enough, nice amount and you can enjoy the blend in a reasonable price.

Whether we’re talking Eastern or Western Europe or the ever so familiar US in the golden days of cinema, they all portray a lady who flaunts her femininity in and with such manner, that we’re still holding her, with a sigh, as THE standard of elegance. Warszawa, to my soul and nose, is exactly that - the perfectly tailored gown, the carefully done hair, the right pair of gloves, the proper pumps and, of course, the gracious poise; that lady that, completely unaffected, turns all the heads and breaks all the hearts. Soapy and somewhat mossy, it has that peachy vibe that sets the above mentioned time frame. It is heady and distinguished, evocative yet contemporary. To the nostalgic for old school glamour, this is THE PERFUME.

I received a sample of this yesterday and I've been wearing it since - refreshing it whenever the fragrance fades. I am falling in love with it I think. It is indeed seamlessly blended in my opinion. I detect unabashed femininity and softness, confident but not forward. It is so EVEN that I imagine it's safe to wear almost anywhere. And there's this hint of eroticism that encourages submission. I'll probably use up my sample very soon as I don't want this scent and it's pleasant associations to fade - at least for now. One of the very few fragrances I've come across that I feel I could literally bathe in. I'm not really able to tease out individual components to comment on, but I do detect floral, powder, earth, clouds.

Warszawa opens with galbanum (Not sharp or pungent) with ozonic leafy slightly soapy violet leaf, then comes the broom with that honeyed hay-like notes, I feel that it does have nuances of plum here. The jasmine at this stage is in the background, as time passes, the beautiful jasmine becomes the main player (Green slightly indolic) and iris appears (similar to the iris in White). Sometimes I feel that there is a Gardenia accord hidden somewhere. The far drydown has noticeable clean musk. The fragrance feels like something Dusita would create, think Melodie de L'Amour (Jasmine & Broom) and Splendiris (Violet Leaf & Iris).

Starts off extra care and attention to the the floral details so to speak, the non experimental feel and in general in the Puredistances is remarkable, so it's a rare unique floral fruit, amongst a lot going on, mature without being a classic and uncommon without being an artsy, that type of perfect ballance. Personally appreciate the quality and setup, it's a feminine, all purpose, got the unexpected feel, will brighten the room up.

This is exactly how I like my clothes smelling after a nice detergent and softener: - perfume-y and fresh, slightly creamy, cashmere coziness. The broom note is interesting, it's the same creaminess I get from Good Fortune Victor&Rolf.
