Dangerous Me

I'm writing a second review on it after a year. I was just looking for something in my old box and found this sample that I tried last year. I decided to sniff it, and it was heavenly. I looked for him right away, and he was on sale, so I bought it without a doubt, and I'm happy with it. The bottle is really strange and uncomfortable, but the scent itself is just on another level. I can definitely say that it's my comfort scent: a warm blend of ginger and vanilla that I usually don't care for, but it goes well with ginger. It reminds me a bit of my instant crush by Mancera. I should combine them because I'm not getting enough ginger. I bought it for $35 on sale, but the presentation was like some super expensive niche. Unfortunately, it's not super strong, less than I'd hoped, but it's not wonderful. Maybe this is his thing.

Opening reminds me of the ink smell from Armaf Sillage (black atomizer) combined with a sweet vanilla. Dry down turns woody and ambery with the sweet vanilla. I went nose blind to it at a certain point, but once my body heated up I could smell it again. So it lasted around 10 hours on my skin. Another great vanilla scent added to the collection!

just wonderful vanilla and ginger,i absolutely love ginger so this is def one of my favs. so simple but smells really awesome

If we're gonna keep it real, it smells like it could be some kind of AXE body spray (albeit without the egregious heavy-handed habit of teenage boys). It's like a gourmand vanilla, but bro-coded. So it's a little deeper and woodier, "sexier" lol, etc. Although it sounds like a dig, it's not. Out of the 3 samples I got from the PaCollection (Dangerous Me, Fabulous Me, and Erotic Me), I think this one's the best. It's very vanilla-forward for something titled "Dangerous" and feels like it could be the quieter, elder brother to REPLICA's By the Fireplace. Both are sweet, evening vanillas, but this definitely has a shorter throw and is less attention-grabbing. Occasionally the cedar comes through and it's a pleasant. If this were as strong as By the Fireplace, I think it could've been a bigger hit.

A syrupy, sweet, fresh vanilla with lots of ginger. A bit too much ginger for me personally but I am impressed with this scent. I also really like "strong me"

Hmm. I'm undecided on this. I'm someone who believes anything can be unisex lol but this definitely leans more masculine on first spray throughout the drydown as well. It gives me Sauvage vibes mixed with BR540 (it's weird because I didn't really connect br540 to this until I saw it in the smells like section and was like "huh yeah I guess I could see that...") Don't know if I'll be keeping it, I'd definitely want to smell this on a guy though. Honestly I can't ever gauge sillage too well, I sprayed like 6 sprays on me (arms and chest) and can catch whiffs of it still after about 2 hours. For those looking for a very gourmand vanilla, you should pass on this. Update- decided to keep. It does smell a bit sweeter now for some reason, would still smell great on a guy, but I could classify this as a true unisex instead of leading more masculine now. I still stand by my comment of passing if you want a super gourmand vanilla though, and the br540/sauvage mix, just add a dash more vanilla.

Gives a masculine BR40 vibe. I think it is more on the male side. The lasting power isn’t the best imo. I do like it, but couldn’t see myself wearing personally, but like a reviewer said I wouldn’t mind smelling it on a guy at all.

Sweet vanilla, vanilla, vanilla. If you like sweet fragrances (and of course vanilla), you might appreciate it, but personally I do not usually like this genre and I do not care for vanilla either. Thumbs down. 4/10

The samples i got of the Me collection come in little foil packages that list different notes than what I see here. This one says Gray Amber, Vanilla, Cedar and Ginger. Vanilla-infused Ink isn't listed anywhere. Still, it doesn't matter in the end: I get a second or two of gorgeous crisp fresh masculine cologne out of this, then it dies under super strong oud-y wood. It mellows a bit in the middle, but that dark black oud wood doesn’t go away and does have a little bit of scream. Really disappointing. Three or four hours later, it’s more the nice vanilla based cologne, but overall not worth the wait.

I do see the similarities to PDM Layton. At first I thought... naw Nope... but yes it is there, covered in vanilla and cedar, kinda like ya broke a bottle of Layton then tried to hide it by covering it with a pile of cedar that’s been soaking in a slightly powdery vanilla. Rather pleasant. I’m not mad or hating on this purchase at all...! I just got this yesterday will give it a full wearing today gonna be in the 90’s , will be working outside. I will update with longevity and scent development in the heat ✅💯🫶

Very nice, sweet, and woody. At first, I thought this is for men only but then after, the dry-down unleashed, the fragrance revealed its unisex nature. This is a really nice frag but nothing mind-blowing. It can be addictive!

I just tested it at the airport. It’s quite nice the vanilla is prominent. It was the one I liked the most from this collection It kinda reminded me of ultra male but slightly better. Cannot comment on longevity.
