Invictus Onyx Collector Edition

Cant wait to get my hands on this!!!!! Blind buy worthy why because you only live once and its only money. Update... Just got this today in the mail 6-12-20 bought it at well lets just keep that a secret because I might buy more lol lets just say it was not ebay. OMG this smells almost yes almost like Invictus Aqua 2016 how do I know this because I own 2 bottles of Invictus Aqua 2016 I bought one back in the day then my wife bought me one for my birthday at the time score!!!! Let your nose be the judge but for me its a big ALMOST when it comes to Invictus Onyx and Invictus Aqua 2016 twins hmmmm you be the judge 1st get your hands on a bottle I got mine batch code says my bottle is 6 months and 22 days old. UPDATE = Been wearing Invictus Onyx for a few weeks now almost a month and have gottin a dozen or so compliments. Long story short I will be buying another bottle because this one is going to go down in history and this does not smell I repeat does not smell like Invictus OG. Do not wait buy buy buy.

I will say, this smells ALOT like mont blanc legend intense, the famous discontinued (by far best legend) chick magnet. I had a girl at the gym staring at me today after I walked by her 😆 this does leave a mild red spot where I spray though, so clothes only for me. 9/10 it's a bit darker then most invictus, smells just like MBLI I promise. Grab it if you can still find some.

It’s a bit aquatic after your first spray, maybe that’s the “aqua” comment by Jeremy. It’s true. Eventually, it loses that aquatic vibe and becomes “invictuish” thereafter. I love this perfume. Not too sweet (unlike the One Million, which i also like). Totally worth it. The bottle looks great as well.

By far best invictus. A little bit weaker then OG in terms of projection, but still GREAT for an EDT + longevity, it's a touch darker, more aromatic then OG. Compares well to invictus platinum, which is a bit fresher. This is, for now while it's still sparingly available, the best modern invictus.

yes its the same fragrance in limited edition bottle but i think the presentation is worth it tbh i mean just look at it

If you own both Invictus and Onyx, you know they're both actually mildly different.

It is very similar to Invictus legend but kinda fresher and spicer.

In the store they told me this is supposed to be the exact same fragrance as the original. After comparing them side by side, I have to disagree. To me this version is less sweet and fresher than the original. It's not a huge difference, but I definitely prefer this one.

It is exactly same as original invictus. Same smell, same performance, cooler bottle. Nothing more.

skip this...get either og invictus aqua(vintage frosted glass), legend or intense...or even original...this is same juice as invictus with lil different opening uptop. trying to milk money out of consumers with fancy new bottle thats all 6/10

If the information on Fragrantica is correct. Onyx isn't simply a rebottled Invictus OG. And would certainly smell different (even if only slightly) than Invictus OG. Invictus Onyx Top notes are grapefruit, sea notes and mandarin orange; middle notes are laurels and jasmine; base notes are guaiac wood, moss, patchouli and ambergris. Invictus OG Top nots fresh grapefruit and a marine accord that lead to the heart of aromatic bay leaf and Hedione jasmine and a woody base of guaiac wood, patchouli, oak moss and ambergris. Interested in getting my nose on this release, especially since Legend was such a disapointment.

Paco rabbane the company is being a bitch when it comes to this fragrance ....having jeremy review this saying it smells like invictus aqua of 2016 ....all this is untrue It was dillards for 95 bucks now theyve dropped the price to 79 bucks people are figuring out this fragrance is nothing more than a money grab!!! Fuck this line paco rabbane is no longer getting my hard earned money I've spent close to a 1,000 bucks on their products this year alone.... you just lost out on a loyal consumer because of your bullshit and catering to jeremy fragrance bitch ass

Invictus isn't the most liked male fragrance on Fragrantica with all the comments of it being "candyfloss" or "cotton candy". Make a limited edition "flanker" that is the same as the original (while the flankers are less hated) but in a slightly different bottle and people lose their minds. If you liked Invictus (not Aqua, Intense or Legend) and want a different bottle, get this. If you have Invictus, like it and want a new bottle, get this. If you don't like Invictus (not Aqua, Intense or Legend), just pass on it.

Update: Had the opportunity to smell and wear Onyx. Onyx smells 99.9% like Invictus (OG) despite the minor differences in notes. The people who claim that Onyx smells like Aqua '16 are being dishonest. Definitely pass....unless you just to own every flanker of the line. Or if you never owned Invictus (OG), and/or ran out of your Invictus (OG) and want to replace it with the new bottle design. Overall: If you like Invictus (OG) you will definitely like Onyx.

Germy Fragrance is absolutely incorrect! Either someone paid him to say what he said, or his sense of smell is failing him in his advancing age. This smells NOTHING AT ALL like Aqua 2016! It's a lie! Fellow frag-heads, stop being naive and believing everything you hear! Every nose is different! Try it for yourself in decant form, or sample it at the store first before blind-buying anything recommended by some moronic, self-involved goon like Germy.

It is pretty much the same smell as the original. I love the smell of it after the sharpness disappears and it turns into a fruity aquatic. Wearing this will get you compliments especially in summer when it’s had time to settle into your skin and your body temp starts to really push the smell into the air. All around crowd pleaser 9/10 from me.

Almost the same as original Invictus (like 90%), but the marine and sea accord is slightly amped up a bit, making it less sweet but fresher like Aqua 2016. Still smells much more like original Invictus though. Redundant to own both. Bought this one recently (2020 Batch) simply because the bottle is absolutely gorgeous with the marble effect.

Similar to the OG but this is a bit spicier on my nose. Great bottle design though. Only draw back is you won't be able to see the juice level. But this is pretty great overall. Same performance as the OG! This is now hard to find.

Jeremy Fragrance brought me here. I got into the fragrance game a little late and have never sprayed Invictus Aqua 2016. Jeremy says it smells like it. So I'm really looking forward to spraying this on me and smelling it.
