Epic Journey Into the Bottled Yonder, 240 ------------------------------------------------------- Purchased August 2024 - NOS 2025 Update: First run batch. This would be a western culture attempt or perspective on "oud". Everybody says oud this n that, well this is where you find an oud. THIS is oud - we talk like this in the west therefore I get to say that. In the actual orient they have their things, and they also love this one. Real oud is more expensive than gold, you will never ever smell real oud. Even M7 has synthetic oud, and who cared? None. Good. Let's smell good and rather talk about it than be pretentious snobs. This is spicy, smoky, and woody as hell. Another leather style oud from the west gone orient. There's nothing wrong with that. Don't turn your nose away from this corner of cheap and niche because this bottle does all your favourites better. The whole "oud" thing was an invention in fashion for us, but people of course took it literally. It's like saying "I wanna smell like a rockstar", it's a genre and not just a note. A vibe - not just the scent. If leather colognes are for anybody (though not in reality like any other strong smell) think of oud in the same vein. This is how we are, we think subjectively (I sure as shit hope). You wanna smell offensive, or bold - we have the right. Got me? Supreme Oud is the most balanced oriental. Spicy, sweet, woody, leathery, smoky and warm; smooth. It is perfectly balanced in all that and there's no amber resins. No apologies. One of the top mannish scents I've let in my nose in my life. I bought my bottle sealed from an enthusiast in the orient who also loves Ralph Lauren/designer niche. A memorable shopping experience and that simply never happens for me. Don't disrespect others' taste whether from here or there; you look like a jackass. Supreme Oud is not cheap at all but boy am I glad I shelled out for this one. That OEM sample book I tried in 2019 smelt like pure money and the real bottle is the closest I can get to that initial experience. This is money for the nose and what it can buy.

"skip for review" Very similar to the not below. I picked up the bottle at the Dubai airport where it stood smell stood out among so many being sprayed sometimes without warrant or interaction. This is a simple review not one with outstanding detail but from a normal guy who does a bit of traveling. I own 8-12 bottles ranging from Gucci by Gucci to YSL and in-between. I'm not a fragrance writer and if you looking for that please skip the next review. This review is from a albeit normal person who found a unforgettable scent when passing through the airport and a week later when passing back through with the smell still on my mind decided to pick it up. "review" This is going on my top shelf, only used for the seldom/right occasion. My personal preference is not to smell as though I was walking through the market in Downtown Delhi and brushed up against the 200 or so passerbyers that were looking to bargain with the merchant on the price of fruit. Nor do I feel like I need to fit in when I visit the Taj Mahal or visit the countless gates in India. I am comfortable with the soft sweet notes that hit the nose first, then followed and also left with the woodsy undertone that isn't too much nor too little. This is that kind of smell that hits you like whew that's different, where is it coming from? As I keep smelling this scent will it turn me off "pleasantly no". This is an amazing blend that someone who enjoys a combination of soft spicy and sweet notes while having a oud undertone "Synthetic or not" will appreciate.

I was hoping this would restore some much needed pride to the Polo line because to be perfectly honest only the original (Green) is a classic fragrance, the rest are very poor generally with only black (at a push) and double black being to my tastes. Finally tried this and it makes me wonder what some of the other reviewers here were expecting from a Ralph Lauren Polo oud? Of course you're not going to the get the most nuanced oud around, you're probably going to get something in the 'designer oud' tradition. ie: Well meaning and pleasant but missing the point slightly and that's what I think we have here. I have to disagree with many here and say that I do detect oud especially in the opening, which to me wasn't too intrusive but I can understand why some wouldn't enjoy it. This is not to say that I don't like Polo Supreme Oud because I actually really do. It has a resinous quality and a slightly tart sweetness coupled with Guiaic wood and cinnamon which make it interesting in my book. As it has dried down it actually reminds of the recent release Floriental from CDG and even some other incense perfumes. It will stand up (and out) against the likes of Oud Noir, Wonderoud, Boss Oud, really bringing something of it's own to the table. I've got to say I enjoyed this one and the lasting power wasn't bad at all. I think the subtlety of dying back to a skin scent after a few hours is not necessarily a negative thing. If this was heavily reduced in price I would consider buying because I definitely enjoyed wearing it.

This is by far the best surprise I've encountered out of the last 30 or so scents I've sampled! It's a nice, clean, creamy oud. Very dark, woody, and spicy, but smooth. This is certainly my favorite offering from the Polo brand! Someone will probably HATE that I'm saying this, but it really reminds me of a spicy Tom Ford Oud Wood. (Notice the "People who like this also like" column lists Versace Oud Noir and Tom Ford Oud Wood at the top of the list.) This is certainly the same oud note, which is a VERY good thing. If you're looking for a strong, traditional, middle eastern oud, this is NOT it, however this is a very easy to love oud. Performance for me is also phenomenal! I got 12 hours out of this one yesterday with just the right amount of projection. I especially love this after the 1 hour mark, when the sweetness fades, the cinnamon begins to smooth out, and the oud notes become more prominent. For that reason, I really hope they release a Polo Supreme Oud Intense version in a year or two! In the meantime, this layers very well with Versace Oud Noir to get that effect from the very beginning. If you like spicy, dark, woody scents and cinnamon and you're looking for an alternative to Oud Wood that still uses those same oud notes, give this a try! Also, try Versace Oud Noir and Chopard Oud Malaki, for more closer resemblances to Oud Wood and Tobacco Oud, respectively.

Of all my fragrances, this is my girlfriend's favorite. She has this little stuffed dog from our first Christmas and she sometimes requests I spray it with RL Supreme Oud so she can smell me when I'm not around. This stuff is creamy and dark and rich. It's hard to describe the oud because I have no reference point--until my decant of Versace Oud Noir comes in, this will be the only oud I've smelled. So all I can say is that it garners compliments, performs better on clothes than skin, lasts a while, and smells wonderful. I highly recommend this fragrance; definitely the best I've smelled from Ralph Lauren. I've heard that, when it comes to wearing some ouds around people, you'll be the only one enjoying the fragrance. This isn't one of those. This is a dark, creamy oud that serves as a safe introduction to the note and is one which can, and does, please the masses. Scent: 8/10 Performance: 7/10 EDIT: I've since smelled other oud-centric fragrances. The oud in Rasasi Faqat Lil Rijal and Ferrari Essence Oud is much more prominent and earthy. This is a great fragrance, but if you're really wanting a serious oud experience, buy a decant of one of those.

Managed to obtain a bottle of this for a fairly decent price. I have seen that used bottles are selling for £150+ and even decants are changing hands at silly prices. I can see why this has become very popular, even though it's been discontinued. It's a very solid fragrance that's an expensive and well blended take on a western oud but still has an eastern flavour, which sets it apart from something like Versace Oud Noir & Tom Fords Oud Wood. It has excellent longevity (10 hours+) and a silage that creates a lovely warm cloud for 6 - 8 hours which then lingers for another 3 to 4 hours and it still gains a fair few compliments even then. I do love how it remains very present on the fabric of my clothes for a really long time. I can still catch traces of it, when I put my jacket on days later. I will always wonder why they discontinued this fragrance so quickly. When you see the success of brands like Armani and how they have capitalised on their take of an eastern Oud, Amber & Leather, I'm sure this would have been a big hit with a bit of promotion, but now you will have to resort to buying it off ebay for a premium.....it's worth it.

I like designer Oud fragrances. They are exotic enough to turn heads here in the US but not so strange that you offend people that aren't used to new and strange scents. That's exactly what this fragrance does. There is a usual boring mainstream modern men's fragrance vibe with a touch of exoticism. This is a good fragrance for smelling manly but different than your girlfriends ex or all of your buddies. Oud lovers will think it's mainstream and too westernized, women that you date will think you smell like a Saudi Prince. And all of us here on fragrantica that know a little about fragrance will think you are sitting on the fence between Western and Eastern styles of perfumery. The pyramid is pretty accurate and I prefer this far and above Boss Bottled Oud in all aspects, it's more manly than Guccis Oud, and performs far better than Versaces oud. As an all around fragrance it's one of the best mainstream designer Oud fragrances out right now.

👍It's such a shame Ralph Lauren no longer makes any of the Supreme line of fragrances for men that includes Supreme Leather, Supreme Cashmere, of course Supreme Oud. I've been wanting Supreme Oud since it came out in 2015 I finally purchased it online since they no longer carry it on RalphLauren.com I even tried calling the Ralph Lauren west coast flagship store in Beverly Hills, CA, and they didn't even have it. This is one of the very best oud fragrances I've ever purchased I just hope it will last me for several years. When I wear it I get more compliments from men than I do women. You'll only need 4 sprays and that's it. Middle notes/base notes are a very strong wood of course, and has lasted up to 6-8 hours on my skin. Great for evening wear, fall or winter seasons. This is the type of fragrance you want to wear while eating streak dinner, drinking red wine, and sipping of some good cognac or brandy.🍷🥩

How exactly did the polo collection from Ralph Lauren, a sporty collection, get to have a oud fragrance, a note that is too formal for polo? Ralph Lauren fragrances were never a hit for me. They are too common, too simple and always had a better alternative especially the polo and the big pony collection. However, when Ralph Lauren decided to jump on the Oud train, I never thought it would be that good! In this "Oud for the masses" creation, oud takes backseat for cinnamon. This so warm composition is refreshed by a very discreet vetiver. Like most ouds, it lasts a very long time and has moderate projection. So, All in all... Despite that every commercial and non commercial perfume companies are now doing oud, most of them are doing it in a good way. And brands like Hugo Boss and Ralph Lauren, with their low price range are giving the mass market costumers some chance at a decent oud fragrance. 7.5/10

I have little experience with this note due to the fact that I really do not appreciate the scent of oud as much as some people do. This is my first truly oud-centric fragrance and I feel it is a good one to begin with. The opening is strong and a bit medicinal, gradually evolving into a rich, spicy, blend. The oud is there- a slight skankiness is noticeable if you smell it up close, but six inches out, all the notes blend together well. Pepper, vetiver, and a dry, unsweetened cinnamon combine with that oud to make a classy, mature, somewhat exotic fragrance. This would work well for formal occasions, maybe a night out if your date likes this kind of scent. Longevity is above average, and quite excellent for a RL/Polo release. Definely a nice fragrance- easy to wear and overall very pleasant! I like it.

I bought this one a few weeks back. Definitely meant for the colder weather. With PSO, I find when I wear it, it's either a hit or miss. I find that where you spray it will depend on how it will project. I find spraying my neck it projects further than on my wrists, which disappears into more of a skin scent after a few hours. I wish this had the longevity like a TF frag where you can feel confident that 1-2 sprays max you'll know you can smell yourself without it being nauseating. I sometimes have to spray my clothes to know its there. Definitely test before you buy. I feel its worth the price tag simply for the amount you get in the bottle. I also bought it's brother, PSL which I also like. In regards to the scent itself, it stays true to the original polo and has that great distinct masculine smell.

Also - I hate to say it, but the rumors are true. There are a LOT of fakes of this floating around, and the scent of the fake I originally received isn't even comparable. The oud note is different, dirty, and prominent, which is a dead giveaway that it's fake. The oud note in the real scent is the same as the oud note in Versace Oud Noir and Tom Ford Oud Wood. The fake bottle also had a poorly applied Polo logo that was bubbled. The outer packaging looked completely legit, but the color of the gold portion was a bit off (darker), and it was even embossed! DO NOT BUY THIS ON EBAY UNLESS YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY SURE OF WHO YOU'RE PURCHASING FROM! Be sure to get the real thing! You'll be glad you did. Also - keep in mind, some of the reviewers likely received the fake.

Epic Journey Into the Bottled Yonder, 163 ------------------------------------------------------- Purchased September 2019 - OEM Sample Didn't end up liking it. Referenced a 1.5 mL OEM sample spray. I really had hopes for this one because Bentley Absolute didn't meet my expectations either. 2024 Update: Purchased August 2024 - NOS Decided to give it a second chance, and always had wanted the bottle anyway. Turned out to be much better than I had remembered. Proper oud this one. At the moment it's got poor staying power, for a Ralph EDP what's up with that? Overpriced obviously because it's been discontinued sadly. Will update again once I get time to properly spray it all over since I've been digging overspraying recently, there's a technique to it.

Smooth, powdery, slightly sweet woodsy type perfume. In the spirit of Cruel Intentions By Kilian. NO it doesn't smell like Cruel Intentions. But they share that same powdery woodsyness. I was very impressed with this. I had to get a bottle immediately. I do smell a bit of oud, almost like a burning kind of oud WAY in the background. Its so pleasent, and the aroma is so good. I don't know who can not like the way this smells. Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long. I get around 3-4 hours of moderate projection before it becomes a skins scent. Then after another few hours its gone. I will try to apply more of it next time i wear it, hopefully that helps. Either way, some perfumes smell so nice, you have to look past the longevity. This is one!

Cinnamon, sandalwood, guaiac wood, agarwood and spice... This was only $33 when I purchased it from FragranceNet over a year ago, but it's no wonder this has more than DOUBLED in price since then! (Currently $73 for a 4.2oz bottle) This scent is impressive, to say the least. It's a spicy-woody scent lover's dream come true. Also, yes, I know there's no sandalwood listed, but I do get that vibe when I wear it. Also also, I usually prefer to layer this with other dry ouds to calm the cinnamon and bring out the woods. Versace Oud Noir is a good one, but Nabeel King Of Oud is my favorite to layer it with, as it adds a ton of spicy texture to this scent and melds very well with the guaiac wood. Lasts all day too. What more could you ask for?!

This is the best oud-based fragrance I've tried yet, but take that with a grain of salt, since I've only tried John Varvatos Oud and Perry Ellis Oud Black Vanilla Absolute so far. Oud is a fairly sour note, so it needs to be balanced well, and this fragrance accents the oud beautifully with sweeter notes. I don't see vanilla (or vanilla-like notes) listed in the pyramid, but I definitely smell it in the dry down. The interplay between the sweet and sour here is very nice. The oud never dominates, which I don't think it should. It's more like a crown jewel in this fragrance, surrounded by creamy sweetness and pleasant spice, which gives the oud a chance to really shine.

ADORABLE! Of course we know that Ralph Lauren is a rather commercial brand and there are an army of better, more authentic Ouds out there. BUT, and I want to emphasize this: RL always does it right. This is a beautiful commercial release and reminds me of the original Tom Ford creation of GUCCI pour homme from 2003. This one here has less pencil shavings and more sweet roundness. On the paper strip it smells of leather and vanilla as well as some animalic notes of perhaps civet or ambergris. Absolutely exquisite. I think I want one now. 8/10 for a commercial Oud.

A great alternative for oud lovers. Woodsy thanks to the Oud and guaiac, while the cinnamon makes it warm and spicy. Medium sillage and not powdery. Optimal quality. This could be called a niche Polo flanker. It is potent and the best RL that I know, too bad that it seems to have been discontinued. This is a well made "western" Oud; simple but dry, elegant, classy and masculine, with a softened dry down that never disappoints. My bottle is from 2015, I'm going to really miss this, once the bottle is empty, since I don't have a replacement.

Wow! This is my third experience wearing RL Supreme Oud and it is great IMHO. With my limited experience with the Oud note I do know that some can come off smelling ummm "different". M7 Oud Absolu (which is a top five in my collection) this is not. This doesn't have the "cola vibe" that M7OA does. It is good with great longevity (7 to 8 hours) and projection is average to me (3 hours). Now that the price has started to come down (at least online) people looking for a nice Oud scent that won't offend need to look no further. Enjoy!

this one is a wonderful fragrance that I layer with supreme cashmere and leather. the three together rock! stunners! This one was the last of the three I collected. It was difficult to find for a reasonable price. I paid over 150 just so I could get a sealed bottle from a reputable store. It is difficult to trust eBay because of all the fakes. I was fortunate that I found mine from Walmart online where if It was a fake, I could return it. I was happy mine was the real deal. Find it! it is worth it!

Out of all the oud fragrances I've tried, this one probably has the best price/performance ratio. It's easy to break the bank with oud fragrances. Not only is this one (relatively) reasonably priced, but the scent itself is also very smooth with good performance. It features strong enough spicy notes to balance out the oud. I've heard some online reviewers refer to this as a great "beginner's oud" fragrance and I definitely agree. If you've never tried oud before, this is a good one to start with.

In terms of niche quality, Polo Supreme Oud is up there with the likes of Tom Ford's Oud Wood. A beautiful winter beast. Save this one for winter everyone. Fall doesn't really cut it either. Strictly when the temperatures drop and the snow starts to fall. You could wear this for almost any occasion. An intimate dinner with your significant other, a casual stroll through the winter wonderland, or simply to wear yourself cozied up next to your fireplace with a good book or tasteful drink.

Ran across this in Sephora, gave it a spray and loved it! Took a small bottle home since we don’t have much winter cold left here in Florida this year. Unfortunately, this is the weakest fragrance I think I’ve ever known longevity wise. 40 mins. I sprayed 1 on each wrist, one inside each elbow bend, 2 on the neck and one on the chest and it’s gone I’m 40 minutes. I can’t believe it. Real shame, the scent is right up my alley.

Cinnamon, wood, and oud. Ralph Lauren delivers a lovely interpretation of oud! A warm spicy cinnamon, powdery and woody guaiac, and noticeable oriental and mildly-barnyardy oud. Simple formula but very well done. Mass appealing yet true to the name of oud. One of the best oud fragrances to come out from the new oud craze! Such a soothing smell. Again, like the rest of the new oud fragrances, the price tag remains a con.

The opening of this pretty oudy. BUT, the drydown is completely SUBLIME. I never expected to embrace a fall fragrance that wasn't overtly woody or tobacco-ey, but this is a GREAT fall fragrance. The slightly sweet cinnamon basenote is really wonderful and the overall scent is very masculine. I wish it was still available.

After years of deliberation, I finally purchased Tom Ford's Oud Wood. I don't regret it, but it has made me realize more than ever how much I love Supreme Oud by Ralph Lauren. It is my favorite oud fragrance. Not so much up top, but the drydown is just beautiful. I wish they would bring it back. But, do they ever?

Wow what a gorgeous smell and very luxurious Scent.. have tried the top designer "Oud" fragrances and hands down Polo did an amazing job with this one.. really gut it out of the ball park. I have gotten a tons of compliments and longevity is 10plus hours on my skin.. love thus juice all around ;)

A remarkable magnetic combosition and for me, one of the best oud fragrances with a balance between sweet, woody and spicy elements at a reasonable price. This offering made me change my opinion about mainstream fragrances....excellent!

I was lucky to find a use bottel .This is the same range as TF oud wood and Versace oud noir but smoother with high quality. I can smell vanilla also. It is 8/10 for me and I will choose this one instade of Versace oud noir.

Extremely underrated and one of my favorite Oud fragrance. I imagine it's for someone who's an Army colonel, a tough guy in his 40s wearing his full uniform and Black Aviators. This is what testosterone smells like kids.

This is a classy and serious affair. Black suit and good for the boardroom and office. Not as overpowering as other ouds but bold enough to make a statement. Top stuff, for the businessman who knows what he wants

All the Ralph Lauren Supreme fragrances are discontinued! Get them while you can folks. Supreme Oud is by far the best out of the three, and dare i say it.. my all-time favourite designer Oud fragrance. 10/10

This is a masterpiece! There is something powdery Vanilla/ Coffee/Patchouli/Cashmere about this Oud. It has decent silage, close sitting fragrance with undeniable lasting power.

Smooth & inoffensive oud + cinnamon. Sits close to the skin with average longevity. I live in tropical country but I feel that it's quite versatile and easy to wear oud.

I get that old school 1970s white, glue-paste that came in a plastic blue tub with a white lid and a plastic white spatula. All roasted almond marzipan. Love it.

I buy this today, I love this fragrance and the smell of the oud. Reminds me a lot the amouage interlude for man. Sillage 10/10 Scent 10/10 Longevity 9/10

Announced in January 2015 and scheduled for release in March, this cologne has become a real unknown for the market. Unfortunately, there was no lack of criticism when it was announced. Questions like: "why Ralph Lauren took so long to create something with oud?" or "why insist in oud, rather than create something totally new?" were published around the world. But the point is that it would be stupidity, from the point of view of marketing, not take advantage of this moment, in which the oud note is still being explored and accepted by consumers. After all, the liquid gold (as it is called this expensive ingredient) can result in true wonders, since used by competent professionals. And to this end, the company has counted on the experience of Carlos Benaim, creator of numerous successful fragrances of the House, like the classic Polo, from 1978, in addition to others for Bvlgari, Dior, Frederic Malle, Prada, etc. The fragrance combines notes of pink pepper and cinnamon, at the top; Indian Oud, in the heart; Vetiver and Guaiac wood, in the base. Once again, it should be remembered that the pink pepper has no spicy nuances as many think. Its aroma brings slightly sweet and gently floral nuances, reminding shades of roses. The cinnamon is not too dry, with that aspect of ground spice. It became sweeter, reminding the smell of the stick, when boiled in teas or syrups. The oud note stayed between the medicinal and the woody. On my skin, the medicinal nuances were more vivid after 2 hours of its application. The vetiver, however, didn't show up. On the other hand, the Guaiac note was exploited very well. In addition to helping in the lasting of the scent, they used the facet of sandalwood, which is divine! I dare to say that could be a little bit better. Maybe a good note of rose or saffron, would have made a huge difference. So, what to expect from Supreme Oud? After a while on the skin, it reminded me of some niche perfumes and some good designers, such as Bentley and Mauboussin. This is the proof that companies of this type are also able to create good fragrances with cost around US$100. Particularly, with this value, I still prefer (a lot) choose to Bentley for Men Intense, for example. Or, for those who live in Brazil, worth knowing Cafe Massoia and Smoking Lounge, both from Amberfig brand. But for anyone who is a fan of the Polo line, this is a "must have", without a doubt. It's strong, elegant and distinguished. I know people who wouldn't buy any Polo cologne, but that would surrender to this one. The projection is good for about 3 hours. Then, it loses strength. The lasting went for 8 hours on my skin, but I expected even more, since it's an Eau de Parfum. In this case, even the synthetic fragrances from Jacques Bogart are stronger. But I don't want to be unfair, since I sprayed just a little during my analysis tests. It might evolve more, if applied in a more generous way. Only the continuous use will say for sure. Finally, the bottle kept the original identity, all black and with Golden details and is only sold, until further notice, in sizes of 125ml EDP.

I recently had the chance to buy this in duty free. It was the only RL without a tester, so I blind bought it. At 73 euro I figured "eh, what's the worst that could happen"... Well, I must say its a decent little fragrance. I'm glad I bought it but if I had smelled it first I might not have. Let's be clear, it smells nothing like oud. Of course most perfumes that are "oud" don't (I had a chance to finally smell the real stuff...and it reeks like barnyard in the best possible way) and this one is no exception to that rule. It has a breakfasty, cinnamon, creamy oat smell to it. Especially the dry down. The good thing is that it smells nothing like anything else from RL. I Used to love polo green and to a certain extent still do, but otherwise RL is uninspired junk. This does not smell cheap and it really seems to last. Creamy and woody and very wearable. But oud?.....no. Scent 7/10.....smells very pleasant, but not life altering. Certainly heads above the rest of RL lineup Projection 7/10....wafts nicely when fresh but dries down close rather quickly unless liberally applied. Fortitude 8/10...really hangs on for the duration. No need to reapply

Wearing and comparing 4 different Oud frags. I'm not that familiar with Oud frags, so take these as a Oud novice trying to compare and contrast the following, in order to find some anchor point. 1. Ralph Lauren Polo Supreme Oud - Stronger than others. Dense, sweeter than others with definite cashmere characteristic. Nice enough, but too sweet for my taste. 6.5/10. 2. Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir EDP - Sweeter and denser than the others below. Similarly simple and linear as the Dunhill. Nice but don't love it. 7/10. 3. Dunhill Icon Absolute EDP - Similar to others, but a bit lighter and with a peppery edge. Simpler, not necessarily in a bad way. I'm not a fan of pepper, so not crazy about it. 6.5/10. 4. YSL M7 Absolu La Collection - Definitely has that YSL characteristic of quality, refinement, and a certain slickness/sophistication. Lighter, drier, and more etheral than the others. Most sophisticated and lightest of the 4. Not sure I love the drydown...will have to wear more. Like it the most for now. 7.5/10

Update: I wore it for the second time and I was surprised how many unsolicited complements I got, and I realized it has a great longevity, at least on me. I can tell it does perform better in a colder weather, and it was an unplanned success, for all the Oud fans like me, this won't disappoint. ______________________________________________________ I think this is a good Oud base cologne, nice to wear for dining out with friends like I am doing tonight, I got it delivered at work and I decided to wear it for dinner after my Zegna Acqua di Bergamotto wore out. It did not make it to my Oud favorites, which are Chopard Oud Malaki and Creed Royal Oud. Would I restock on it? No I would not, but as first time wearing I can say it does deliver and about longevity, well it's been barely 4 hrs since I sprayed it on, so it is still pretty alive, but I will find out later, thus far I can say is a good cologne, no regrets.

1st impressions. Cinnamon and pink pepper merged with oud produces a molton like scent consistency. Amberous. Somewhere do silicon based roses exist? Reminds me of homemade vanilla syrup at the opening. Of course cinnamon is in that recipe. Then the cinnamon predominates. Without the saffron bubble the mid is more aromatic than pressurized. The vetiver bed holds things together and gives the scent a vintage vibe. The Indian wood is a dour but also personable reality check in the dry down. .Sometimes a good oud needs to be. Dick Tracy with a smartphone. Less flair than Oud Noir, but stronger total character. Doesn't have the one bell ringing note of Bottled Oud (apple) but the fragrance contains a higher potent of Oud. It doesn't have the saffron force field of JV Oud, but it's more original with the Indian and Oud wood mix. Not as niche rubbing as One Mysterious Night but its an easier reach.

The more I sniff this, the more I like it. I have always been leaning towards more fresh/sporty/light perfumes, but this one has allured me. The wet woodiness and the dry, yet warming spices are uplifting, yet comforting. Like a cosy scarf a cold winter’s day. Masculine and elegant. It’s a heavy projector, I just had one careful “half-spray” on my wrist to test it, and when I walked by my gf 30 minutes later she said “what’s that? You smell like some kind of African wood oils!” So what happened to Oud supreme? It’s nowhere to be found in retailing here. Discontinued? Very few online retailers still have it in stock. Of course eBay has it, for 180(!) euros. Too bad. It’s a very safe oud/woody scent, perhaps not safe enough to blind buy a full bottle, especially not with current pricing. I have a 5ml sample and that will get me through the Nordic winter season for sure.
