Ralph Fresh

I got a small 1oz bottle as a freebie at our L'Oreal fragrance meeting (L'Oreal owns Ralph Lauren) and I love this scent. I wear it all the time because it's light and I don't have to think twice about whether or not It'll be too overpowering for the day's setting or if it will suit the mood of the day. It's very youthful, perfect for teens or young at heart 30-somethings ;) Very similar to the original ralph, but more saucy fruit tones for summer fun. I also love Ange Ou Demon (Le Secret) by Givenchy and it's very close to that scent too. I use them almost interchangeably but the Givenchy scent is much more of a signature scent and should be employed with more forethought.

This was set up to be a very sharp masculine clean scent but I think, in my opinion, thanks to the Watermelon and Rose notes, the scent gets softened and easier to wear. I usually am annoyed by the presence of any rose notes in my perfume, as I associate them with those horrible gas station glass rose buds full of cheap red perfume, but this one is changing my mind. The watermelon is also redeeming in the way it is not overly sweet. Its just the right amount. I think all the Ralph Cool fans might see something in this fragrance. In any case, as I always say, try it first.

Ralph Lauren’s Ralph Fresh is a summery fresh scent that I can actually wear! When I hear the word “fresh” I think maybe it’s going to be too masculine smelling for my taste, have a chemical smell, or be a sharp lemon scent that assaults my nose. I was not a fan of the original Ralph but, I love the watermelon note in Ralph Fresh because with the lemon it smells like watermelon lemonade! In the dry down you can definitely smell the freesia with just a hint of a rosy-mandarin undertone. I found my official summer scent for 2015!

I got my wife (at the time, girlfriend) this as a Christmas gift a few years back. She stills wears it in warmer weather and I love it on her. It's a very "fresh" fragrance that has some nice floral and citrus qualities to it that dry down into a very pleasant and slightly sweet woodsy base. It surprisingly lasts very well on her and projects all day. This is a very nice fragrance for warmer months but is a great and versatile fragrance all year round. Great deal for this one as well.

I just bought this from the Ralph Lauren website and I must say that I adore this scent!!! It is similar to the original Ralph from 2000, but this IMO is better. This is fresher, and has a more delicate vibe to it. I can definitely detect some similar notes like the magnolia, so it has that "Ralph" feel, but it's different enough where if you already have the original you could still purchase this one and no one would mistaken either of them for one another. Great job, Ralph Lauren!

If you like watermelon fresh scents, this will be a safe blind buy. It’s inoffensive like most Ralph Lauren scents. Great for sunny weather. When I first smelled it, I thought of how it feels getting out of the shower. Fresh and clean. Pretty ageless as well. I feel like younger and older crowds will like it. This is one of my favorites.

To me, it smells like a fresh citrus smell. I really like it in my hair and on my clothes. I spray quite a bit to build it up. A very casual, girl next door type of scent. This will be perfect for the Texas summer heat!! Happy smelling!! :)

Zesty,lights and sweet. Very summery and easy to wear,no fuss. This fragrance ''behaves'' when it is hot outside. Staying power is good,especially,if you spray some on your clothes,it will stays on all day. I really enjoy it on sunny days.

Vofff!! -This is so fresh and so very sour. It smells like Fanta sitron/citron/lemon brus/limonade. I can recomande it, but will not buy it myself, because I prefer Agrumes en Fleur Yves Rocher and Mexx Energizing Woman.

I've loved the original Ralph for years, but am unable to wear it as it doesn't mesh with my skin chemistry. After letting it dry, it turns into that "old perfume" smell. Yuck. I was excited to hear of Ralph Fresh, and finally found it for test at my local Ulta. I sprayed it onto a card, and fell in love! I sprayed it onto my skin, and fell even more in love! For so long I have wanted a fresh, clean fragrance. Something I can throw on, and have it be a no-brainer. Ralph Fresh is similar to Ralph, keep that in mind. But Fresh is well...more fresh. Crisper, cleaner, yet still that fruity-floral so many have fallen in love with. It doesn't seem to project too far, though I think we ourselves are not the greatest judges of that. I don't mind a scent that projects to only those close to me. As Whit said, nothing groundbreaking, but still a great fragrance!

Perfect for the Australian summer heat. Very fresh, non offensive scent. Nothing like the original Ralph. It’s very similar to Charlie White by Revlon but Ralph Fresh is better. This is girly and lovely without trying too hard. I detect the citrus, slight melon, very light floral and the woodiness comes off a tad pencil shaving like. It’s a tad astringent but that’s what gives it the fresh summery vibe. The bottle is cute and simple. I bought this for my 14 year old daughter but I have to admit I enjoy this on myself too for a little fresh pick me up.

This is exactly what it says it is - a fresher version of Ralph. It would probably work well as a pick-me-up on super hot and sweaty days, but there are very few of them as far north as I live, so this wasn`t really a homerun for me. Might be for you though :) I find it to be a bit too sharp in the opening, and longevity/sillage is pretty weak. The Ralph DNA really comes out in the mid. In total it`s a bit of a "meh", and I do like the original better.

The opening is mostly citrus and watermelon that makes it a little sweeter and lighter and the drydown is similar to the blue Ralph. It's an light and airy fragrance and I get mostly citrus, musk and a pinch of rose. "Fresh" is an appropriate name and I could easily use this in the summer. But, it's easy to like and easy to forget.

This is what you could expect of any cheap body sprat to smell like... good, fresh, innofensive, but on the edge of boring... Nothing special or memorable about it, at least nothing that would worth to spend the price of a designer perfume instead of the price of that cheap body spray...

This and the original are very similar, citrusy and fruity. The difference is the watermelon, which makes this more aquatic. The longevity is okay, not great, same as the original. It's an uplifting scent, good for carefree summer days or when one is in need of a little pick-me-up.

An easygoing and casual scent. The name sums it up - it's fresh. Not a standout of my collection, but it's nice for everyday occasions.

I liked this at first when I bought it, but after a few months now after finishing half of the bottle something about it makes me a bit nauseous. Same has happened with the original Ralph, like it has become more intense, might be the aging or maybe i’m noticing things now I didn’t notice before .. I still like the original though, but now it just smells like alot of black pepper in the beginning .. 🌚 Also I think ’Cozy’ would be a more suitable name than ’Fresh’ ☁️

My sister recently gave me the rest of her bottle of Fresh, it was in a box with a few articles of clothing she wasn't crazy about. So, I sorted through them and a sharp, soapy smell all but pierced by nose... I thought, "Wow, did she wash these with too much soap?" I could almost feel the suds on my tongue with each breath. I'm not personally a fan of these sharp, aquatic, citrus scents.. but I think if that's your wheelhouse, this would be the perfect fragrance. I can't identify any particular note right off the bat, I have to sniff around for a while to pick them out individually. It's blindingly clean and fresh, definitely unique, and very well blended. But not for me.

When I first saw the bottle for this on this site I thought they had made a mistake by uploading a picture of a fake as the bottle is opaque and the lettering (sort of) looks different compared with the original Ralph and its flankers. I actually loved some of Ralphs flankers (Ralph Cool to be specific) more than the original Ralph but this new fragrance seems to be nothing special at all. There are a couple of citruses, a few light florals, a hint of watermelon and a very light base of wood and musk. It is a very well worn formula indeed. You can purchase at least 4 good sized bottles of Adidas fragrances with a similar scent and longevity for the same price as a small bottle of this. I strongly urge Ralph Lauren to make Ralph Lauren Blue more widely available (worldwide) and re release Cool, Hot, Rocks and Wild as well as Glamorous. At least they had character, some longevity and general appeal.

It's fresh. I don't hate it which says a lot for me but I think I smell an exotic wood note in the base that is too much for my taste. It's a little too strong or "perfumey" for me but it's not bad and I'm in my 50's so I could see someone younger liking it but I've found too many frags I like better. It doesn't smell like Light Blue at all but it's still that combo of fresh/fruity/wood to me just a different set of fruit flowers and wood and it's definitely got fresh notes. I guess it's the top notes. but those fresh notes go away and it's still not bad, but not enough. If you like this try Kaiak Aventura it's lighter but very similar. Not an exact dupe but very similar and more in a body spray territory where you can douse yourself. Not this one. Don't douse yourself with this one. Also Avon Haiku Reflections reminds me of this.

Just received a sample of Ralph Fresh today. I've been a fan of the original Ralph since 2000, so I was very excited to try the "fresh" version. Well...very disappointed...very synthetic, chemical smell. I know this scent is probably better suited for the summer, but I've worn the original Ralph all year long with no problems. I'm not a notes expert so I couldn't tell you what that awful undertone that assaults my nostril is...maybe artificial watermelon? Anyway, it is long lasting because I dabbed a tiny amount on my wrist and I can still smell it two hours later. Please try before you buy with this one!

The top notes were promising and fresh, heart notes had me hopeful but within 20 minutes I get the base notes, slightly sweet, woodsy, too sweet for my taste, not a scrubber but not something I'd want to wear even one more time. Back it goes. Has some freshness at the top, but also smell something plasticky or synthetic. I get no aquatic smell at all. Alas. In the same vein I prefer Kaiak Natura Aventura. It's a little lighter, just a little different but similar.

This is "fine" and just okay. Nothing AT ALL even remotely special. It is not offensive and basically smells like what it claims (fresh acquatic smell). It smells SO mild that I cannot smell it on myself 10 minutes after applying. Has a sort of melon smell and is so so incredibly boring. Now I have this HUGE bottle of it. I guess I can wear it around the house. Boring boring boring. I detect nothing aside from fresh melon, light fresh melon. Then it is gone.

tested this one from Ralph Lauren outlet and I can say is that it has a very fresh and pleasant scent. The only problem with it is that it doesn't seem to last...it has a body spray quality to it. I wanted to buy it for the scent but made me think twice because of the longevity. I give it a 9/10 for the good scent ( i love it so much ) 10/10 for the bottle and packaging (so nice) but only 3/10 for longevity and sillage. (poor quality)

I got to sniff this the other day at one of the local department stores. Firstly, the name "Fresh" suits it very well. It would be a great summer fragrance for those hot, humid days. I couldn't really decipher the notes to be honest, so I may have to resniff it. The longevity and sillage are low, so it would be good for office wear or for those whose professions prohibit heavy perfumes. Overall, it's nice but nothing groundbreaking.

This is very fresh, aquatic, but in truth not worth buying as I agree there are better fresh scents out there..on me it is vaguely synthetic, with lots of watermelon..it is also so light, and evaporates quickly.. I expected a floral undertone, it appears very softly in the drydown, this is like after the gym, fresh out of the shower body spray..nice but not too interesting reminds me of Bliss

I actually love this fragrance! Its great in the spring and summer here in our humid climate. I get compliments every time i wear it from men and women both. Its a very clean neutral scent slightly floral and slightly citrus. Still sexy but not overbearing.

WOW!!! A new one after many years. Could you bring back RALPH HOT and COOL as well? So many discontinued great RL fragrances!!!!. Glamourous Style RALPHS Cant wait to smell this!

I love this! I find it is much like the original Ralph in the all blue bottle but with a very fresh twist to it. Not everyone is into fresh scents but if you are this is amazing

Watermelon Jolly Rancher candy is the first thing that came to mind when testing it.
