Woman by Ralph Lauren Intense

😢I know this won’t get me on the balloon scale because this is a loved scent, but regardless we are truly here to help one another out with scent profiles so we can make informed decisions from a far. This community was so incredible getting me through Covid shutdowns and still being able to successfully have those blissful moments when you find a soul shaking scent match. So here it is. I love this scent actually. Not in the jaw dropping, eye rolling way. In the “mmm, that’s nice” kind of way. But I’m disappointed. This smells so incredibly similar to my D&G the only one intense. And I paid a boat load more for this, getting less ounces. It’s a tuberose, coconut, slight musky, super womanly, almost syrupy, vanilla scent. I get the pepper on the top of my skin. Doesn’t seem to be an all star performer to my nose but I really need something to push me down the stairs to label it as such. What’s great about this scent (and the D&G) is that they can really fit into any season, time of day, work or play. I also get a ton of compliments on my D&G the only one intense, and I’m sure this will follow suit. I think the sad truth is that my collection is getting too big and presenting challenges finding new masterful fragrances. And I can’t afford to go down the niche spiral right now 😂 Ralph Lauren Woman Intense..super versatile, super beautiful, but for me unfortunately, super redundant

Have really so few people discovered this? Well, the better for my current signature sent! Grateful that Ralph Lauren parfumes are not as hugely advertised (at least in Europe) as Lancôme and Dior who wear themselves out becoming way to mainstream! This one is a gem 😍 A unique, classic category nominee. The slight heavenly aromatic tartness (which I initially thought were raspberries) coming from exquisite rhubarb in delicate combination with black currant (which people often refer to as cough medicine when not in right combo) sweetened by the most luscious white flowers. This is such a great escape from all the choking sweets 🍭 ruling the market, they all resemble each other, from Lancôme to Dior across Paco Rabannes and Elie Saabs. This one is just so different... hopefully marking the beginning of a new era! I feel sophisticated and feminine wearing this, but definitely not stale or old fashioned nor conservative! A sparkly yummy white floral that is a tad sweet, a tad tart and heavenly pleasurable to wear! Can’t believe it was a blind buy, based on the RL classy bottle and lovely notes only. At first I almost returned it because my nose couldn’t detect the fragrance on my skin, but found more and more how it stayed with me and even projected well! I will wear this both day and night. Perfect for spring, summer and fall, will give it a try in winter.

"Big Warm Floral From the Good Ole Days" (aka Old School Floozy Broad, in the best way) Ralph Lauren Woman EDP Intense reminds me of the late 80s-90s heyday of big bold florientals like Givenchy Amarige and original Dior Poison. Other newer comparisons would be Alien, Scandal, Memo Marfa and L'Interdit Rouge. This is a juicy tuberose with lots of base players giving it an deep, sexy voice. I might be in love with the bottle more than the scent itself but it is a nice wearable floral oriental. It starts off really strong. So strong that two sprays left me wondering for an hour if I could stand it. After an hour it really settles down and diminishes to something much more mild and moderate. I definitely like it. This is something us GenXers will find familiar/nostalgic even though it's updated by being more sweet than they used to be. I bought a 30 mL bottle and I'm perfectly happy with it. The bottle is like a little flask with flip top that's super cool. Scent: 7.5/10 Bottle/presentation: 10/10 Longevity: 9/10 women I imagine who would wear this well: Sofia Vergara, Bette Midler, Ellen Barkin, Marisa Tomei, Christina Ricci, Regina King, Christina Hendricks.... you get the picture...

I'm a little late to the RL Woman Intense experience, not finding this gem until after it was discontinued. This is such a heady, creamy, lovely floral with dark fruit and vanilla woods. The tuberose is nearly too strong at first, which tuberose often is for ne, but then it blends back in. It's really wonderful, an almost gourmand fruity, vanilla, creamy, lightly spiced scent that has an almost boozy undercurrent to me. I detect a little interesting nuttiness though I don't see that in the notes. The rhubarb is light and well blended, which is good, I usually don't like rhubard, but it's nice. I also get the orange flower. I love orange flower scents and it's such a nice, light touch in RL woman Intense. Soooo disappointed that this has been discontinued. Update: I got a sample of Precious Oud Van Cleef & Arpels and to me it smells like a lighter version of RL Woman Intense, without the longevity or silage. I might be in the minority on that since most reviewers report Precious Oud smells like TF Black Orchid, which I also own, and to me those two didn't smell at all alike.

Hi. My current (now ex) partners birthday was a couple of weeks away and she had run out of her favorite, Armani Code. So I go searching and found it not so easy to find here anymore. I didn't want to give her anything common so started my search here for a quality white floral and just going on your ratings and reviews I backed this one. This fragrance rates very high for a reason, thanks to the quality noses out there. Code to Woman RL Intense we swapped a 'citrus honey vanilla white floral' to a 'vanilla currant sandalwood white floral'. While different fragrances this is on another level. Blended beautifully, the currant gives this woody vanilla white floral a natural slightly tart sweetness which is understated and near perfect. I can't stop smelling this and my partner may well be away bathing in it. I'll be due to buy another one soon, that's ok, I'll buy two. Anyone wearing this knows what they are doing. This scent is EVERYTHING to me. I loooove Olympea, and if Olympea is salt and vanilla, then this is the pepper to the salt. Woman Intense is extraordinarily well-blended. I wouldn't exactly call this a spicy scent, but I wouldn't say it's absent of spice either. It's sweet without being cloying. After some time, the tuberose comes to the party and she is there to stay. Honestly...this fragrance is just so damn wearable. It's great for a signature, great for a date night...great for work (with a lighter hand because her sillage is intense for the first couple of hours). My other favorite of the moment is Cloud, and this sort of feels like the CEO boss lady to Cloud's youthful internship. I love it and I'm happy to have it in my collection.

This is my go to perfume for a night out or for a date. I feel sexy, classy and sophisticated all at the same time wearing this. It has truly become one of my favorite perfumes and I will always have a bottle or two in my collection - as of right now I have stacked up three bottles. That’s how much I love it😂🫶🏼 To me it’s creamy with a flower-y touch and spicy, all at the same time... Ah so so good! This is not a mature scent but it will make you feel like a boss, if that makes sense. Also, it’s a compliment magnet. People will ask what you wear, both men and female. Very alluring.

First Impression - It's beautiful! I will try to describe this base on how I experience it on my skin. As it opens, I smell a bit of the original Ralph Lauren Woman, I then get the Jasmine from The Only One Intense. I can also smell bits of Tuberose and Orange Blossom as in Alien Fusion. Then as it dries down, I get small whiffs of Tresor Midnight Rose! Wow. Its just beautiful and very smooth. I am so enjoying this. This is my first day of wearing. The Original is dear to my heart and will always be in my top 5 but this is also quite good, a bit deeper and stronger.

This was more beautiful than I imagined. Definitely an underrated gem by Ralph Lauren. The black currant and tuberose really stand out to me. The vanilla adds just enough sweetness. This is a very pretty fragrance and can be worn year round. This very much reminds me of My Way by Armani as one of the other reviewers below stated. That's actually the first fragrance that came to mind. The most notable difference between the two is the bergamot note in My Way. It comes off slightly sour in comparison to Woman Intense. I'm surprised that My Way is not listed above.

I got a travel spray of this amazing perfume to add to my collection... It smells like money & magic! The only way I can describe it is if they condensed white flowers down into a thick, sweet ambery syrup and bottled it.. J'Adores sultry, sexy big sister. I probably won't wear it often because it is STRONG, and will fill a room with its essence, but it will be cherished and saved for special occasions <3 Update: On deep drydown I'm getting the black current and rhubarb ... smells like jammy plum... Sooooo beautiful

OMG this perfume is just stunning. The black currant and the tuberose is the star of this perfume. I got this at TJ Maxx for 49.99, what a steal. If you spray one or two sprays this can be a daytime scent, but for four or five sprays it definitely turns into a nighttime stent, if you’re a lover of black currant know this is a must for you. Overall smell nine out of 10 longevity eight out of 10 projection seven out of 10 overall 8.5 out of 10

I can’t say why I am so addicted to this scent but I am truly hooked. It’s not because I got four compliments in the three hours that I was out running errands. No, I think it is because it is unapologetically feminine, sexy and a little vulnerable, all at the same time. If Marilyn Monroe were still alive, I believe she would have a bottle of this sitting on her vanity right next to her beloved Chanel No. 5. This one is simply stunning...

Agreeing with several others that this compared to the original is such an odd experience. This one feels way less juvenile, more deep, rich, and mature without feeling old. It’s a black tie, wealthy scent that sticks for a long time. Very, very sexy. Gives luxurious man-eater vibes. Went from my every day to a night out event scent which I think gives it more justice. Will always keep this scent close by.

I bought this out of curiosity when people compare it to Dolce & Gabbana The Only One Intense. I can see the similarity in the opening but not in the dry down. Opening: I got Neroli and Jasmine just like D&G TOOI, then quickly it develops into blackcurrant and tuberose. Dry down: I got sweet caramelised smell blended with blackcurrant and end up like Viktor & Rolf Bonbon which I owned many years ago.

I am really impressed by this fragrance. It's a rich, deep, sweet tuberose with a bit of woody depth and vanilla. A comment was made below that this is a more 'developed' version of Armani My Way. Yes, most definitely. I love both fragrances but I think this one is a little bit better. Great staying power. It ticks all the boxes for me, including a good price.

I was so surprised to love this so much. I thought the original was pretty but not full bottle worthy to me. This takes it to another level - beautiful white flowers, sambac jasmine, sandalwood, vanilla, amber yumminess. It smells sexy, alluring, and yet pretty at the same time. It has to be the blend, it's superb for a commercial scent.

I adore this one. When wearing it I sometimes wonder who is smelling so great? And then realise it’s me! I suppose because the whifts I get are so different from the first impression which is almost gourmand. Don’t get me wrong but it reminds me of the scented erasers I collected as a kid. Very grown up, elegant but with a sexy twist.

Another blind buy 🙈 I cannot find this one in my country so I had to order and wait until someone could bring it to me Instant love 😍 - it fills me with joy - and it's so rich and feminine, sexy or maybe sensual I believe I can stop adding on to my collection as I've notice I tend to like tuberose/floral/sweet perfumes.

I mostly get black currant and tuberose in the opening, and then vanilla in the base. Incredibly sexy UNLESS you overspray, which is quite easy to do. Tuberose can sometimes smell a bit mature but I think in this, it's a bit more playful and young but still not a perfume for teenagers in my opinion.

This is such a pretty perfume, a woody tuberose with a dark sweet vanilla. Unfortunately, it smells like D&G The Only One Intense without the coconut and slight green apple accord. I own D&G and it performs better so I don't need RL in my collection. If I want this kind of smell, I will go for D&G.

Blind bought this fragrance...never read any review before buying this....but I just love it....with the price US70++ for 50ml not to wear it everyday....very hard to get it again lol.Its similar tu Olymphea Paco Rabbane...& Phantom I think. But this fragrance absolutely gorgeous.....

Juicy blackcurrant leads to a creamy & vanillic tuberose, jasmine, and orange blossom. Sandalwood and amber emerge on the drydown as the white florals taper off in the background. Projects loudly then creates a nice shell around the body. Perfect for cool/cold weather.

A complex juxtaposition. Ralph Lauren’s Woman Intense opens with a tuberose overload before settling into a black vanilla, sweetly rich, slightly peppery scent. Very sensual, romantic. Fantastic dry-down, and a perfect scent for nighttime and the holidays.

Even though there's no way I'll be able to even put a dent on this bottle I keep telling myself I need a back-up bottle 😭 The idea of not being able to buy it again hunts me...

I am so happy with this scent. It is the most intoxicating jasmine! Lasted overnight on my skin! By the end of its run, it smells like a sweet vanilla . Beautiful 😍

I just recently tested Bvlgar Splendida Tubereuse Mystique and this smells very much like that one but RL lasts longer and is richer. I really love this fragrance.

This is one of the smoothest tuberose fragrances I own. It's a grown-woman scent, and I love the bottle.

I'm a huge fan of tuberose, from stinky (Carolina Herrera and Michael Kors) to sweet (Bvlgari Splendida Tubereuse Mystique and Juicy Couture), but Ralph Lauren Woman Intense is just a liiiiiiitle too much for me -- and too much of the same-same. Yes, it's beautiful and strong and has lots of the vanilla-sweet version of tuberose -- versus the naturalistic green and stinky version -- very much like Bvlgari's Tubereuse Mystique. But while Tubereuse Mystique has a sheer, sweet veil-like quality, morphing slightly as it dries down, showing other facets with dusty myrrh, Woman Intense clobbers you over the head with scent, and remains essentially the same throughout. It has a similar quality to Dolce & Gabbana The Only One, in this regard; that's another one that, to me, smells good, but is just TOO much the same and makes it not fun anymore (also a reason why I don't always take to Middle Eastern scents). But if you enjoy very strong, syrupy, vanilla-sweet, linear fragrances -- like The Only One -- along with tuberose, you will probably love Woman Intense. PS -- I am a big fan of Ralph Lauren Woman, the original scent (and its Elizabeth Arden dupe, My 5th Avenue) but, unlike some other reviewers below, I prefer the original RL Woman to this Intense version. This shows my preference for florals over sweet gourmands, in general, and RL Woman is much more of a fresh, fruity (pear) floral.

What a great mass-market tuberose-centric scent! With Woman Intense, I primarily smell tuberose and jasmine in a sensual caress, as amber, vanilla, and sandalwood observe from below. (What voyeuristic little notes they are!) I detect no relation to Dior Addict, and I’m a bit confused as to how others might have made the link between them. To my nose, neither share a similar smell or “vibe.” Woman Intense is quieter, classy, and sensual. She navigates her life with poise, but fully recognizes the sexual power she has on others. Still, she rarely takes advantage of that power—and when she does, it’s subtle. Addict is a total slut. She recognizes her sexual power, but has an insecurity about her. She’s slept with all of her coworkers, from desire, yes, but also from the self-affirmation a new lover provides. Note: My review doesn’t intend to shame sexual activity. As long as it’s consensual, do whatever, with whomever, and as many other whomevers as you want! I’m just using cultural archetypes to describe how these scents figure within my mind. :) ETA: The bottle is sooo nice, especially at this price point!

I recently purchased this, second hand. I’m getting into trying discontinued scents lately. I just wasn’t finding many “loves” in many current scents. Mainly because I really don’t prefer gourmands. Some I like, but if it goes too edible or too sweet, it’s not my style. I have the original Woman, so I’ll have to revisit that and compare. The intense isn’t all that intense in my opinion. However it does project well. It is beautiful, classy and elegant. If it weren’t discontinued, I would say its signature scent worthy. I don’t find it all that similar to D&G the only one intense. That is spicier to my nose, and much louder and sexy! This is more polished, understatedly elegant woman, but I wouldn’t say sexy. I would wear this to a formal affair, like a charity gala or as a wedding guest, but not for date night. Contrary to other reviews, I would say this is a safe blind buy. But of course, everyone is different. It is a bit pricey now and hard to find, being discontinued, but it is beautiful if you can get your hands on it!

So I was at the mall, randomly testing some perfume and one SA let me try this on paper, without telling me what brand the perfume was. I instantly love it, my eyes lit and she told me it's by Ralph Lauren. My God, it never crossed my mind that I would ever try any perfume from this brand. I mean this brand is not that well known in my country. I brought the paper home and found myself sniffing the paper for few days, I knew right away I had to have it. And so I bought a full bottle. First time testing on skin, the opening reminded me of a scent that I used to love. I tried hard to recall that scent and I finally got it, the opening is very similar to Lady Million by Paco Rabbane. I know everyone chemistry is different but on me, honestly it really reminiscence of Lady Million, I didn't detect that on paper. After a while, it turns into a beautiful white floral scent, just please don't overspray. As an oversprayer, I learnt it the hard way haha

The name suits this perfume so well, it is a beautiful feminine warm floral, with hints of tuberose mixing in with the neroli..not overdone, and a bit of a light sweet touch too...grown up in a sense, enveloping, stylish, the scent is classy, like the bottle...it doesnt have monster projection, but it isnt too soft either...I enjoy wearing it, it is so well done, enticing...I dont find it similar to Dior Addict, which is richer and bolder..Woman intense wears like a chic sensuous scent.I am usually not fond of tuberose but it is in Woman Intense buttery and smooth, nothing screechy here now if you don't like tuberose, try it before buying....the vanilla is on the edge and not centerpiece, it isnt the sugary type, more a warm undertone..a blind buy I truly love !!

Ralph Lauren Woman Intense is like a deep, cold, moonlit evening. It feels stronger from the first spray. It's bold, a little spicy and green with lush white florals that don’t hold back. The white florals here, especially the tuberose and jasmine, are lush, heady, and powerful. But the real magic happens as it settles! The drydown is all about rich, warm vanilla, amber, and sandalwood, with the florals peeking through every now and then. It's mature, elegant, luxurious, a little sweet, and seriously lasting. It doesn’t whisper, it lingers. A heads up though: The Intense isn’t a safe blind buy. It could even trigger a migraine for some. Don't blind-buy this unless you already know you love bold, dramatic white floral scents.

What a sophisticated beautiful scent! So, I can't believe there's no almond in this fragrance. It smells like tuberose, jasmine and marzipan in the best way! It might be the vanilla mixed with the flowers and tuberose that gives it a slightly almond smell. I love it so much! It's the most creamy floral I've ever smelled. The sweetness in here is done right without getting sick of it. It's very intense without being too strong at all. Lasts me all day on my skin and forever in my hair and clothes. I believe this could be a signature for anyone! And still a very sexy perfume for a night out. Smells natural, sexy and sophisticated. I bet any guy would love to smell this creamy tuberose dream on a woman!

I just bought this the other day at a local retailer for a discounted price. I figured it'd be worth trying. I must say, at first it reminded me of something my mom or grandma might wear for a nicer occasion... but then the dry down is a tad sweeter than what they wear. So it's an odd mix of mature yet still appropriate for me in my 20's. I couldn't help but keep sniffing it and I actually enjoyed it more and more. With that said, I think I'll hang on to it and see how it performs. When I sprayed it yesterday it seemed super strong but then it oddly fades away after 3ish hours. I'd say it's worth picking up if you ever find it for a good price!

It's lovely, no doubt, but if your nose amplifies jasmine like mine does ~ it's just another white floral with vanilla. I was hoping for more of the original Love Tuberose Amouage, that one was reformulated and its creaminess was pretty much obliterated. Unfortunately for me, the tuberose in RL WI is muted bc of the jasmine. Gorgeous bottle, almost didn't return bc of that bottle, but I've got a lot of pretty bottles. Don't need another bottle with a scent inside that mimics 5 others that I own. I'd test or make sure you can return, before buying. I may just have to stick with Fracas and try to find a creamy vanilla oil to layer with it.

This is the intense version of the original Woman - literally. If you like RL Woman and wanted something with more umph - than you will love this flanker. Also if you dress in all white including a hat, singing through gardens and talking to the animals this is possibly a perfume for you. This perfume is for a bold woman who would dare to wear white and truly knows herself without caring what others may think but she will also need to like strong sweet white floral perfumes. Very nice fragrance.

Holy headache. Way too powerful. I love tuberose and jasmine. But even if I spray this once from a distance onto an article of clothing, go into another room and come back in 10 minutes, as soon as I catch a whiff it's 100% cough syrup and I'm in migraine land. It's such a shame because if a lady walks by me and has this on, it's quite lovely and memorable. But up close and on me it's waaay too much. Enjoy the fragrance but not for me.

First spray gives me a lot of tuberose and intense jasmine which I am not a fan of. Then orange blossom comes into play which a lot similar to JPG Classique essence which stays for quite a while.., Perfume dries down into a warmer and luscious vanilla scent. It’s much on a darker heavier side, surely a night time and winter scent. I enjoy it a lot! Good projection and moderate longevity

I do like this but i think i go anosmic to it, or, maybe the performance isnt that great on my skin. I will test more and report my findings later. Update: so weird...i know this is not a fake, i got it from a reputable source. I really cant smell much of anything. This and versace eros i smell almost nothing and it is so frustrating. I really wish i smelled something but i dont!

I have it since first launch. I like it a lot. it's very bubblegum tuberose, heady, quiet strong but fade quickly in like 3-4 hrs. very sweet floral-fruity. I think the black currant make it more interesting and very fruity with heavy on tuberose and woods. It's more like mysterious version of the original. I have 4 backup bottles. but now I'm kinda bored. lol still like it.

Very rich scent, more for the evening than the day. I wore it so much that I had to take a break from it. Complex, elegant and powerful scent. Maybe not a safe blind buy.

Blind buy and it’s very beautiful. Love the bottle, it’s awesome. Really liking this fragrance and got it a very good price. However, longevity on my skin is poor.

On my skin, this smells like a sweeter version of Versace Crystal Noir EDP. It is warm and inviting, I'm really liking it 😊

Very nice option for people from Lancom's La Vie Est Belle gang. It's funny cause in general I can say this perfume is well made and def a compliment pleaser and everything is cool about this baby. But. But to me probably because I don't belong to this party this perfume seems boring and linear. Honestly, If this perfume is a person it would be this hot and seductive insta model, but there's no character in real life. But very nice at the same time. I think 10 years ago I would make this perfume as a signature. Tuberose-white flower with a safe amount of spices. Very comfortable and suitable for any occasion. I should admit I like it a lot in protection, for some reason from the skin it seems simpler. Gourmand people will appreciate berries, they bring some candy ish vibes, but mature candies, not teenage sweets. I like you, sweetheart, but you're not mine.. Borscht raring for people: 10/10 Borscht raring for herself: 5.6/10 P.s. Wow 10 years. That's enough to feel old T___T

A bit disappointed with this one, having purchased it after seeing so many good reviews (from perfume influencers as well). This is honestly nothing special. It smells very generic, and a little bit 'old lady'. It smells like a wealthy mature lady you might walk past at a nice restaurant in the evening. I have been wearing it daily to see if I change my mind, it's definitely pleasant but there's just nothing special or memorable about it. However, I do love the bottle and it looks gorgeous on my marble/ gold tray. Sillage is very low, staying power even lower. It opens quite floral/musky and dries down a bit sweeter. I would suggest trying in store before blind buying like I did. The fragrance itself smells like something for a cold night out, however with such little staying power it would be very appropriate for the office as well.

It is rich and intense but too sweet and syrupy for me but I find tuberose tricky and fruity tuberose combos even more so. It is very similar to the OG and although pear isn’t listed in this flanker I can still smell it. The blackcurrant is there but doesn’t really project and the rhubarb is invisible which is a shame as I would have liked to have smelled a tart rhubarb in this.
