Kokain Gold

Leather. Why isn't it listed as a note? The leather is so heavy in this one, the other notes pale. This is not a problem. I love the scent of this perfume. I tried it out after a friend in the US mentioned she couldn't get their perfume there. I'll be handing off a bottle of this when I see her next. This is not a feminine perfume but I'll put it on when I'm around the house just because it smells so good. If a man wore this I would probably try to crawl into his shirt and lick his neck. It's sexy and like another reviewer mentioned it's perfect for a bad boy. A good boy trying to play bad too. This is an incredibly unique masculine perfume for the price tag. I paid 29 euro for the bottle. Where does this scent transport me? To the passenger seat of a rat rod with a guy decked out in tattoos and a pompadour as he reeves the engine or to a goth club sitting in the back booth, low lighting and dark EDM playing at 120 BPM. Wear this scent guys. It's love.

This is my first Rammstein fragrance. I bought it for my wife's birthday. We really like the band and especially their image and lifestyle. I wondered a lot which one to choose from the line, cuz i saw a lot of comments, that the fragrances are weak and not representative for Rammstein. But this one does not disappointed us. Trust me it's very much representative of the band, but still is wearable. To me it smells mostly of black pepper, but more exotic oriental one and other spices. The other main player is leather mixed with gas for lamps. It starts harsh and in the drydown it gets really pleasing with hints of ambergris and dry fruit piels. The longevity is low to ok, but the spillage is good enough. It's unisex

I am always intrigued by this brand and the releases of those perfumes. They are definitely very well balanced and quite « niche » even though the price is really affordable... Some of my friends are Rammstein fans and are not perfumes fans but they wear those fragrances. This Kokain Gold is very spicy dry-leathery, decent but with quite a nice and subtle sillage. I prefer to smell it more on a bad boy than on my skin...

again, i enjoy and can detect a „cocaine“ note within this perfume. however, my perception of it has changed. i see it more as a clean amber (contrary to that of kokain black intense.. lol) with some smooth cool freshness behind it. it is pretty sweet. i haven‘t worn it in a while.

very rich, sweet, and spicy scent. a little strong, 3 sprays and everyone noticed it. this is acceptable for year-round but during warmer seasons spray this conservatively. i do enjoy the „cocaine“ note though

This is pure deep leather to me for the first five minutes. Afterwards it has a darker feel than the white or black ash kokains but it's in the same family. It's currently 25eur in Rossmann so it's a steal!

in the top 3 for me, kokain, kokain intense and gold kick ass, the ladies love the Gold.

The drydown on this is more of a suede note than a leather one, I think. It reminds me of a bottle of Odin 12 Lacha I used to have. I have no idea what cocaine smells like - never did it - so there's no comment there. I'm thinking the reference is just Rammstein trying to be outre as usual. I like it... just wish it lasted longer. I detect no citrus at all. I'm not sure what exactly this is I'm smelling, but it is masculine. Good bargain... I got a bottle for 29 Euros in the Mueller shop in Breisach, Germany. ------ Update, 4/16/24: I wore this today, and after lunch the woman at the counter told me and my friend, "One of you smells really good!" I fessed up. That doesn't happen often. Update, 10/30/24: Another woman told me that I smelled good wearing this. It must suit me! Also - a very masculine male friend says he likes this.

OK, I'll try my best to review this as there doesn't seem to be any comments. First impression, it definitely fits in line with the Kokain line of fragrances, it has the characteristic of Black Ash, only, with its own twist. I haven't got my hands on Black Intense as of yet. Pepper to my nose is the dominant note. That's in line with something quite sweet and hints of Citrus floating. It's quite an intriguing fragrance, I'd definitely ask someone wearing it what they were wearing. It's certainly unquie enough. Could be unisex, though leaning slightly towards male. Besides Rammstein's own range, I can't think of anything to compare it to. I really like it though as I love a good Pepper note. Projection and longevity isn't too bad. Pretty average. I couldn't smell it after around 5 hours but others said they could.

I like rammstein music and I bought it as a fan, it smells almost like Lalique encre noir extreme...

Pleasant smell, non-sweet, non-linear. But unfortunately not lasting long (around 30 mins, than for another 30 mins it slowly became skin scent, after completely gone)

not sure if its my skin but it smells like cough syrup... ill def give this another go but yea i don't dig it... almost bought a full bottle once without sampling

I'm not sure where people are getting the leathery accords from, or even Encre Noire A L'Extreme, but here I am about to throw down a YSL Y comparison. Not that I own Y, but a friend was wearing it a few days ago, & I thought he was wearing Kokain. I think I prefer the Red Intense Reloaded version of this, though they're definitely from the same DNA, I think this one is somewhat a bit fresher & doesn't seem to last quite as long, the Red version being quite the beast. Might keep this for another summer & decide later if it's redundant to own both... *edit: just picked up an unsolicited compliment from the reception lady at the school I work at, from the previous day when I was wearing this fragrance. She said it was nice and not too strong. A compliment for NOT being a beast mode fragrance? I have so much more to learn...

Pretty close to B683. Soft suede and mild saffron.
