Woody sweet roses The Turkish rose is quite obvious in but balanced quite well with woods although the sweetness from Turkish roses are clearly presented more but presented fairly here... What makes it really interesting that Ramon added geranium & bits of carnations to the blend which made it woodier than expected, beside the cedar, the bits of violets & the help of bergamot to drive it away from the sweetness of the Turkish roses. I guess the middle note has that teak wood pushed within & thankfully there isn't that much (if any) magnolia is there but i can sense some musk within. I don't remember that the previous 2014 version of "Celestial Rose" smells the same as this! but i guess the latest journey that he has been through made him develop it to a much better version specially when he resided in the middle east with that hot weather throughout the year. Nice.
