Blanco

Blanco is like slathering yourself in the most luxurious sunscreen and diving into the Mediterranean Sea – coconut, warm skin, soft musks, and a gentle breeze. Not a gram of heaviness or gourmand, clean and skin-like. Luxurious shower-gel vibes, but crafted so well that you forgive it everything. It smells like a real vacation on the Greek islands.

This is a very nice fig and coconut perfume. I’ve just recently become more accustomed to the note of fig but I’m enjoying it. I can definitely smell it in here and it smells really nice. I also get the citron note a lot too, especially in the opening but I can smell it subtly in the background all the way through. The mid and dry down is where it’s at for me. A lovely soft blend of fruity citrus, fig, coconut, iris, jasmine, sandalwood and musk that has a slight sweetness to it but not overly so. Blanco is a bit green, a bit woody too, think creamy sandalwood. It smells like a clean, fresh and creamy fragrance overall to me with some tropical warmth. I loved how my clothes smelled the next day after wearing it. Still getting to know this fragrance and it’s extremely cold at the moment where I live which I believe is stifling it a bit. I think this will work best in warmer temps because I wore it to the gym while working out and it bloomed beautifully while it was more subdued when I wore it around the house with indoor heating. For reference it’s been 25 degrees and lower lately. Still it is lovely and I’m excited to wear it more as spring and summer approaches. In fact next week we’re supposed to have days in the 60’s again so I’m going to wear it again soon. It’s a huge like right now but I’m thinking it could turn into a love. I’d say if you don’t like fig or coconut in perfumes then you probably wouldn’t like this. Unisex. Sillage and longevity is yet to be determined fully as I need to wear it more but it projected very well when my skin was warmed up. Update: sillage is great in the high heat. I’m selling my bottle though since I’m not reaching for it much.

For sure... this smells to me like a fresher Gris Charnel. I have no words except that. If you want that... and perhaps with a tinge of coconut... this is for you. Gris Charnel was a bit dense for might taste. This is more airy. Loosened up a a bit. So I am presently enjoying it.
