OMG! I finally get this nitch perfume in Malaysia at Pavillion Parkson!! The price is lIttle bit expensive, like the price range of Theirry Mugler perfumes. But it is a quality violet perfume. It's less sweet and loud than Guerlain Insolence EDP. While another Rance, Rue Eau De La Couronne, also a violet perfume dedicated to Paolina Bonaparte, it's like a EDT version. If you like violet perfumes like Guerlain Insolence EDP, Creed Love In Black and Van Cleef & Arpels Feerie EDP, this is for you. Update: The Rose Note is White Rose. Try to smell the real White Rose at the florist, it smells green. Kinda intense in this perfume.

Wow, this scent is just violet perfection! this is super feminine, protagonist notes of violets and dewy roses, little touch of patchouli and tonka in the base. The orange note is fleeting, it is just evident in the first few minutes after application. This is a modern princess scent. Wedding day scent. Just so so beautiful. Softer than insolence but it has good projection and longevity. Very natural smelling. Full bottle and blind buy worth if you love feminine violet bombs.

It smells of violets, children's rosy cheeks, baby powdered, cotton purity and (close to the skin ) a little bit by fruit candy. There is a marvellous touching naivety about him.

an interesting iris forward fragrance. Not as fun as Yves Rocher's Iris Noir, but more mature and sheer take on iris with its patchouli and tonka depth. I know it supposed to be feminine scent as this line linked to Napoleon's women, but heck I wear it instead. It's a compliment gather and nice calming scent in rainy day

This was my first blind buy I tried to give it a thought cause It's niche perfume with fine value. I got it a week ago. Not sure if it's due to its expiration date(checked batch code & realized it's about to expire) or cause it was delivered to me in hot weather, but at first sniff all I could smell was alcohol and medical orange syrup. The dry down on my skin is more tolarable though. After a few days the irritating orange syrup scent is still there. I'll try this in cooler weather so I hope it'll work out next time🙁

I love violets - in various editions and different interpretations. However, the scent was a big disappointment for me. There is no character (so noticeable and strong in Violette Precieuse from Caron) and no sophisticated delicacy (as in Artemisia Penhaligon`s). Naively, I thought I could find a successor of discontinued Caron. Its longevity is also very poor. Here is only a beautiful bottle.

Wow! huge violet and orange opening, really pretty. If you like violet then you should check this one out. The rose comes in to soften and mix with the violet and a little greenness is added from the Patchouli joining in. The orange remains, cutting through the intensity and keeping everything on a fresher level than it otherwise might be. Violet is definitely the star of the show here, managing to remain traditionally floral but with a slight citrus-y edge. The dry down performs delicately and becomes a cosy mix of soft floral, slightly sweet orangeade, provided by the orange, rose, Tonka and Benzoin. Whilst this perfume unfolds down through the notes, instead of ending up with a simple base I still get get a full rounded mix of everything, just softer. It ends in a violet tinged, orangeade melange. I would rate sillage fairly high and longevity medium.

To me, this perfume is a perfectly darling violet scent. It's powdery and sweet, but not overbearinly so. The orange at the first spritz mellows fairly quickly on my skin and gives way to a lovely violet. There is definitely something green in there too, perhaps the violet leaves as well? The scent mellows down with the violet och left is soft tonka with a powdery texture. On my skin the basenotes stick around for the whole day, but since I love the violet-note I usually spritz twice in a day to keep the violet going all day. ps. it also smells VERY differently depending on where I wear it: on my wrists it's much less sharp (practically no green) while when I tried it on my arm it was much sharper and less mellow/sweet.

Basically...Chowards Violet candies. Which is fine with me. Violet is in my top 3 florals. I really like this, and will be keeping an eye out for a good deal on ebay.

Pauline open with sweet green grass and sharp citrus or orange. In the dry down it smell like Balenciaga L`Essence. (sweet powdery violet)
