Leather + Pine

This has a really deep but not overbearing pine scent that I really like. I don't know that I'd call this a Christmas-y scent like most of the reviews seem to be, but it's a little bit ozonic, like snow just fell, so I think this would be a good winter smell. Where I think this really shines, though, is in spring and summer. It's a cold scent and as such contrasts really nicely in warmer temperatures, and makes it smell even a bit 'hydrating' like a cold cup of water or a lake in the mountains. I got this as part of the sample set, and sadly, the atomizer that came with the 2ml doesn't work great; it just sort of drops it on, so I may be applying a lot more or a lot less than most people would, and that may affect how it smells.

To preface: I ordered this as a part of a sampler set. Excellent scent. My first thought was simply “wow this smells expensive.” Earthy and piney; natural like an essential oil or extract. Smells like crushing pine needles between your fingers in the woods after it rains. This is definitely unique and strikes me as something that would appeal to a very outdoorsy man. To me, certainly worth the pickup.

Spectacular perfume with exceptional performance. This will be always one of my favorites whenever I want to feel confident. A rugged lumberjack draped in a leather bomber, chopping wood in a pine forest at a cabin in Ely, Minnesota. The only perfume of 150 in a collection that always garners a compliment from my partner of 5 years. Bravo, Ranger Station!

The label says it, leather and pine. I get both in equal measures, although the leather hangs around longer than the pine. I like it a lot. It's masculine with just the right amount of projection. It's not so heavy that you can't wear it in warmer weather but I really feel like this will be great in December/January.

The opening 10 minutes of this perfume isfantastic as the leather and evergreen pine play off each other quite well. Sadly this dance is short lived as the leather comes to dominate the scent. Overall it’s a pleasant scent with good longevity and decent projection. Although quite linear if you like the smell of new leather, wallets, jackets, shoes you’ll enjoy this offering. Unisex down the line and pretty much any age. For the outdoorsy and outgoing extrovert. Worth a sniff but not the journey

Makes me feel like a winter cowboy, whatever that means. Like I’m trudging through a snowy pine forest on my horse. The leather comes through pretty sweet and warm, and sticks a lot longer than the initial pine. Really the perfect scent to break back out just as we got the first big snow of the winter.

Smells like chewing watermelon flavored bubble gum (the one with the punk goose on it) in a PayLess shoe store. It started out with a hint of pine & clove, but switched over to cucumber & affordably priced shoes pretty quick. Then the shoes stuck around for some sticky sweet childhood treat. Eventually it all fades into duty free store. Absolute wild ride of a fragrance.

I grew up in a region with a lot of pine trees. Every Christmas, when I was a kid, my family and I would go and cut down our own Christmas tree, haul it home, put it up, and decorate it with lights and ornaments bought, gifted, and homemade. This fragrance smells exactly like pine, and it reminds me so much of that time in my life. The sweet, fresh scent, with all the sticky sap--this is beautiful. I hardly get any leather, but I don't mind too much. It feels quite effortless and comfortable. Very approachable and feels more like an essential oil than a fragrance. Unisex, easily. Moderate longevity and projection. The cost feels a little high, in my opinion, currently at $94 USD for a 50ml. If you can find a discount or grab a roller, I'd certainly consider it. It's very pretty and pleasing. Enjoy!

This smells like you are a cowboy at Christmas-All freshly cut pine tree smell, no other traditional Christmas notes here like baking or gingerbread. There is an earthy cold wetness, amongst the soft worn leather. He’s a west coast cowboy cutting down his Christmas tree, out on the Howe sound windy and wild beaches. He’s shucking fresh scavenged oysters and downing them with his pine tree sticky fingers. I smell THE SEA!! This is such a unique and intriguing scent, that fresh mineral briney sea smell is so cool. Not sure if I’d wear this but I love to sniff the tester.
