Nose Note #495 Cartier Declaration? I beg you... As said below "it resembles some aspects" of it, namely the spiciness. If not for Fragrantica, I wouldn't have ever thought it had anything in common with Declaration. Declaration is one of my favourite scents ever, and this just isn't cutting it... It feels very flat and too soapy. If anything, I'd say it more similar to Al Rehab For Men than Cartier Declaration. The bitter orange is not there, many of the spicy notes are not there. It's just not Cartier Declaration to me, sorry. Judging it by itself, it's not bad, but honestly feels very average to me. A very very middle of the road mens fragrance from the 00s. Performance is average too. 6.5/10, not Declaration

this one is very distinct. it's very dry with spicy, black peppery, wood kind of vibe. the florals here are definitely not the white florals or rose. if someone would ask me to compare it to anything else, the closest that pop up in my mind is another Rasasi - Ambergris Shower. they are not similar at all, but it feels like Ambition takes that dry woodsy character of AS, remove the violet and leather and adds black pepper and these weird warm but not sweet florals. overall, this one definitely stands out from a common crowd. performance is quite good. not a blind buy but worth checking if you'll spot a decant.

Ambition is Great Juice from Rasasi Perfumes. Its Citrus Fresh Spicy Woody are Words to Describe it. It opens with citrus notes of Bergamot, Orange Peel and Sage Leaf. The heart features Floral and Woody Notes blended with Aromatic Spices, laid on a base of Musk and Amber. Resembles Cartier Declaration a lot, Middle Eastern Version. My Opinion Projection & Longevity are Good. My Rating is 4.0 out of 5. Presentation & Bottle looks V Good. Sprayer of Perfume is also good Good Work from Rasasi Perfumes.

This fragrance as mint with Rose notes. Very Nice Smell. Its worth for the price. Projection Good. Longevity is okie. Give a Try....

Definitely not one to over spray, I did and I felt like I was covered in a peppery lotion. A creamy musk is the main note here. Not ideal for warm weather but suitable for cooler days in summer or spring and autumn days too. Just easy on the trigger, Would say no more than six sprays and even that's a fair bit. Not my favourite scent, very creamy and woody with hints of biting rocket leaf. Good longevity and decent sillage. The bottle looks better on the photos, the upper part looks a bit cheap in real life. Probably a better night time scent but could be cloying in a very populated place like a club or something. A very rough alcoholic opening, once that goes, you have a very professional, office safe scent. Super thick and musky!

Yukk!! I simply don't like this perfume...blind buy and now i regret it. Not recommended at all.

Rasasi Ambition is a daring attempt to take on Cartier Declaration domain. I had high hopes, since other reviewers here were very enthusiastic. I received my fragrance from Rasasi of the UK, in a package that also includes a deodorant spray, which is a good value for under US$50. After the first sprayings I get a very astringent blast of alcohol, it's very noticiable and assertive, then, the blast is followed by a progressive sweet floral note. The original Cartier Declaration has a very harsh opening too, not a splash of alcohol, but something stinging and indistinctively messy. The first 10 minutes of Cartier Declaration is the storm BEFORE the calm. Those who stoically stand this first harsh moments of Declaration, will be rewarded with the most beautiful fragrance creation EVER! Cartier Declaration is still, after 25 years of launching, my most favorite and loved fragrance. Back to Rasasi Ambition. After the alcohol bomb exploded, the fallout will last only few seconds, and then Rasasi Ambition starts showing its SOUL. Very differently from the arrival of the warm well blended citruses found in Cartier Declaration, with Ambition I get a very shy orangey note, some sugar and a bright floral cold opening. I don't know exactly what was the witchcraft that Rasasi made with the concoction of Ambition, and although the fragrance develops very slowly, it RESEMBLES some ASPECTS of Cartier Declaration. Rasasi Ambition feels very linear or even standing, not changing much overtime. Cartier Declaration is a VERY COMPLEX and moving fragrance, it has some very distinguishable phases, on a magic rotation of citruses, spices, powdery, floral and woody facets. The Cartier Declaration has a distinctive heft and a sensorial weight, which unfortunately, cannot be found in Rasasi Ambition. The Rasasi fragrance is somewhat more incensey and sugary, giving hints of its Middle Eastern origin. It has some sharpness which pierces my head from time to time. Again, Rasasi Ambition can be seen as a Middle Eastern fragrance INSPIRED by Cartier Declaration. I CANNOT in good faith, even consider Ambition to be a clone or a dupe of Declaration, although the brief similarities. Those who wear and love Cartier Declaration and its flanks can get some comfort with Rasasi Ambition, but at the end will be feeling a little disappointed and unfulfilled. Maybe in the future, Rasasi may create an Ambition "intense version" adding the lacking complexity and heft. After all, everyone deserves a second chance.

Rasasi occidental collections are really in par with French perfumes/ western. About this perfume- very masculine masterpiece.I am wearing it now while I am reviewing so it's been 2 hrs since I am wearing this.what I get is a rich spicy floral musk that's the best I could explain. Here in India we have Rasasi boutique in various malls in Mumbai and it's sold for Rs 2300(INDIAN RUPEE 65= 1$) as a gift set with deo. Sillage & projection are really excellent.The scent itself is soo rich. To me this is like 'value for money'. Also I bought a 5ml Ambition oil which comes in a super cool steel container which looks like a jewellery and I want to say that the longevity of this oil is never fading attitude.

This perfume is an absolute and amazing oriental rich blend. i would know who made this beautiful juice. Jean abdelkarim Elena maybe ? :) Good projection and moderate longevity. i got a solid 7 hour with good performance. For the Déclaration cartier's lover this is a no brainer.

Ambition by Rasasi .... The Middle Eastern version of Cartier Declaration. Good and safe. For best results do not over-spray! Edit: 05/12/2022 (wow ten years later) Rasasi have turned out some really good fragrances over the years for almost any price range

Ambition smells like expensive oudh perfumes. I bought it in just 14$ great value of the money. Oudh lovers should try this

All the Rasasi perfumes are really very very good. I totally agree with the above comments of Sam Singer

wow!its nice ,it smells expensive although its not,long lasting fragrance with nice sillage
