It's Essential

the box gave me a papercut so I started with a bad mindset, the box its self also smelled like genuine BO so I had low hopes but when I sprayed this, oh my god. This may be one of the best fresh fragrances I've ever smelt. Has the ysl l'homme dna but ive never smelt ultime so I have no take on that. Opens up with the brightest citrus youll ever smell then starts to settle into a touch of musk. Almost reminds me of boss bottled bold citrus. I just put this up to my nose and felt it touch my brain so its projecting amazing. This stuffs crazy man as for longevity I literally just got the bottle so I have no clue. People say this is like ultime but with a perfected scent and lasts longer. Ill post this review in a few hours to give my take on the longevity and projection Scent 8/10 (Im to young to use such citrus fragrances but its still great) longevity 5 hours projection is good and not too much, still go light with the sprays. it preforms well but doesnt last insanely long great fragrance, im happy to own it

I've never smelled Ultime before, so I'll be reviewing It's Essential as a standalone fragrance. This fragrance is fantastic, especially for it's price! It was a blind buy that I added to my cart to reach a free-shipping threshold, and I have zero regrets. It's currently my gym fragrance as it is inexpensive and invigorating. Definitely an office safe fragrance. It's pleasant, inoffensive, very versatile. Don't let the tobacco note in the base fool you; this is not a tobacco based "heavy" fragrance at all. I get much more of the aromatics comparatively. I'd say it may be too light to be worn in the winter time (outdoors) as I would think this would be suppressed without the excess heat to help it project off skin. All other seasons and relatively warm weather are fair game. If you're looking for a fresh aromatic everyday scent that won't break the bank, I 100% recommend this.

I don't know why, when this sits on my skin for 15 minutes, I can smell a little bit of similarity to LV imagination. But not as much as on my shirt. But this is probably the best one I have smelled from Rasasi. I have smelled the Hawas, ice, etc. This is by far the best and my favorite one. It's not overly sweet, it's not spicy, it's just a very settled and mass appealing scent. I love this thing, for only $30 ish, I have nothing that smells similar to this one, besides, there is a hint of similarity like LV Imagination. I can't tell you which note is similar to Imagination, but if you have both fragrances, you will figure it out what I mean. This is by far one of my best fragrances for only $30.

So I actually ended up getting this as a gift from my girlfriend but I saw it in a video posted by fragrance content creator McNasty and my god was he right. This fragrance is a genuine 10/10 BANGER it doesn’t project super duper well so if you’re looking for something that will fill a room this isn’t your guy BUT everything else about it is amazing. At the top you get this super fresh fruity almost like fruity pebbles accord and also I get a hit of like ink almost, but not in a bad way and as it dries down you get this super warm woody tonka and it’s literally perfect to wear as the day goes on. Highly highly highly recommend.

Edit: this shizzle is soooo good, I bought 3 bottles of it! Another under-the-radar gem by Rasasi! Exceptional value. **** IMPORTANT: The notes are wrong on here. **** This is ~60% L'Homme Ultime (with the awesome L'homme DNA), ~20% LV Imagination and ~20% (others). Inspired by the best of the YSL L'homme lineup - L'homme Ultime! The ginger stays thru to the mid notes. Value for money for what it is attempting to do. Currently 6-7 hours on skin and longer on clothing, and that's just 3 weeks since opening. Like other ME frags, it will get stronger (maturation) with time.

Great YSL L'Homme Ultime clone. I do have to say though, with the extra maturation that Armaf Infinity edges it out as a richer and fuller experience but leans a bit more cooler weather while It's Essential will be better suited for desert Summer weather. Very happy to own both though. Bright pear (favorite fruit note), orange, some bergamot that gets aromatic in the heart from the lavender lift and a geranium assisted soapiness. The base then becomes a creamy vanillic cedar tobacco. It's very good; I have to give them props for being the first of the Ultime clones.

It's Essential Rasasi It does have similarities to L'Homme Ultime Yves Saint Laurent But It's Essential doesn't have the rose or ginger that you get in Ultime. However it smells great, and should be great for outdoors, sunny day, summer, exercise, gyms, office, schools etc because it's refreshing and fresh. Good that it's inexpensive and you can overspray it without much thoughts. Spray is pretty good. The presentation is simple but comes with a small sample vial of the new Brilliant Silver and a sheet of catalog of their fragrances. Not bad at all.

Such a hidden gem, as a dupe of a discontinued fragrance not many people know the original and so there is not many people looking for a dupe, but this is my favorite fragrance so far, it has the distinct top middle and base notes, but as a big tobacco fan I can always enjoy this on me, as a cheap fragrance it is so worth it, definitely get this even as just a blind buy that's what I did. it is not an overpowering smell at all and is very safe for use anywhere. you definitely should get it

Got this on a recommendation and hated it. Left it on the shelf for a month or so and came back to it, and now I love it. I couldn't tell you why specifically; I can't tell you if i just grew to like it or if it went through maturation sitting on the shelf, but boy it is great. I know this is inspired by the discontinued YSL L'Homme Ultime, but I never knew that scent for comparison, none the less I like the fragrance. It's very unique and I have nothing else like it in my collection.

A great citrus and floral scent, with a slight tobacco in the background after an hour or two. This smells so fresh and it's great for the price point. Unfortunately for me, it does not project or perform at all. It's mainly a skin scent for me, and the longest it'll last is like 4 hours at best. Great smell otherwise, I'd definitely buy YSL ultime if it was still in stores if it's anything like this.

Wore this at work in weather that was 40C with the humidity absolutely sweating my bag off and this perfume really shined. Smelt amazing and lasted very well. Close to ultime, can't say it's exact because I haven't smelt it in a while but to say it had nothing to do with it or even come close to ultime is delusional. Lasts longer than it too. Great cheapy!

Been rotating this and my Ultime on and off since picking this up. This is 90% Ultime, and to say otherwise is absolute nonsense. This outlasts my Ultime by miles. To the point that I am spraying this over my Ultime just to get some legs out of it. My Ultime won't be missed when the bottle runs dry. Just my personal experience.

Don't know why someone would hate this fragrance. Whether it smells like lhomme ultime or not, it's still a great cheapie that will make you smell pleasant to everybody, probably even those who do not like perfumes. And someone marked it as overpriced. If $20+ is overpriced, maybe perfumes are not for such an individual...

It's Essential is really good. Rasasi hasn't really let me down. This fragrance is smooth, floral (rosy) and lasts all day. It reminds me of Ultime and also Dunhill X-Centric but stronger. Projects off clothes all day. My girl was into it. This is exceptional value.

love this fragrances so muchh, good fresh cheapies, its airy really uplifting floral fresh scents. great for everyday / signature fragrances. the opening kinda smells like "salty / sweaty" (?), and the performance is mid. but great fragrance overall 9/10

A more citrusy version of L'Homme Ultime. Same exact DNA as OG but instead of the rose note, amps up the bergamot/orange. In my opinion, I enjoy this more since it is more versatile for high heat.

What a gem of a perfume this is. Blind buy safe, very seductive smelling little green as well. Blend is great in this. 9/10

Having no experience with it, I can only judge It's Essential on its own merits. This is pleasant and refreshing blend of sweet, citrus, herbal, woody, floral and very gentle spice aromas. It's great for all ages because the sweet and fresh aspect appeals to younger users and the aromatic fougere element appeals to older users. Though aimed at male users, this is actually unisex thanks to some floral notes. This said, some women may not enjoy the fougere elements which are more traditionally male and don't go well on a woman. This is designer quality for a discount price. It's very versatile, great for both serious and social occasions and particularly outdoor activities and warmer weather. Performance is good and the bottle looks great. HOWEVER... be warned that the metal bottle collar actually gets in the way of the atomizer's spray and causes a mess! :O The result is that the more you spray, the more liquid gets all over the bottle and your hands. I actually thought the bottle was leaking before I realized what was happening. You have been warned accordingly. Other than that puzzling bottle design flaw, this is a a great fragrance. Very pleasant and refreshing as the fougere notes lighten up the sweetness. Recommended.

Rich and heady opening and projection. Tobacco notes are most prominent and well done. Not my favorite of notes, much like leather. But I like this though. I could see this growing on me in the drydown as they mute. Stuff may never get there though. Had on for nearly 3 hours and it still smells almost as strong as 2 hours ago. It clearly has staying power. Fills the room as well. I absoutely recognize DNA of L'HOMME out of this having had OG and L'Nuit. Came out the bottle smelling like it seems it should (no maceration required) and I understand Rasasi has a rep for quality because they deal with the major chemical firms that make the ingredients for the expensive stuff. I haven't smelled Ultime. That said, to my nose, it very much could be simplified as saying a backbone of a quality replication of YSL L'Homme spiked with Armani Code (especially the Sport version of Code; which was Code with a big slug of ginger) and underpin those accords with hearty slugs of cold pipe tobacco and a floral note so strong it nearly drowns out the L'Homme heart. Maybe they should have at least tried a masculine rose. It still works out well. There's a very clear image to several of the scent notes. The floral (is it geranium?Jasmine?Magnolia?) But I found myself wishing it weren't there. I believe some would be enamored with it despite my preference. It all works together quite nicely and radiates a casual confidence about it. Definitely for older men and could work in any weather. Just not sure where would be best. They have so many clone houses now that they absolutely should give out mass samples if they want to get truly noticed and picked up. This is my first Rasasi and I'm already intrigued about several of their line.

Heard about Rasasi 'It's Essential' from Gent Sents, and he made me want to try it. So, I bought a bottle. When it first arrived, I was sick and could barely smell anything. But even with a stuffy nose, I was disappointed. It just smelled like a bitter orange peel to me. After I got better, I still wasn't really impressed with it. It didn't smell bad; the pear and bergamot started to peak, but that wasn't amazing either. I left the bottle macerated for a couple of months, hoping the scent would change a bit. And it did get better over time. It has softened up with the citrusy bitterness. At the beginning of the sprays, I smelled orange, bergamot, and pear. Then, as it settled, the notes of geranium, lavender, jasmine, and a little hint of cinnamon stood out really nicely. It lasted on me 6 hours with 7 sprays and projected 1 foot for 1.5 hour but after that it became a skin scent. Overall, it's not a bad smelling fragrance. It's versatile enough for everyday wear and has a certain freshness that makes it appealing. But it's not something that I would rush out to buy again. It's just okay in my opinion. It's a solid 7.5/10, not essential enough for my personal collection.

L'homme ultime brought back from the grave. Right away you recognize him. But you start to notice an ear is gone and the left side is droopy. Other than that he's surprisingly functional. I just about finished the the bottle. Had it about 2 years now but will not get it again. Happy to finish it a get rid of the bottle to make room for something better. It's not bad for 20 bucks. You can tell what it was trying to do with some less quality resources. In the air it's pretty similar. Up close it's not very close. Can really tell the quality difference. If you're broke and need 5 20$ bottles to get you through a year or two, this is a versatile and somewhat unique option. I could easily go with 4-5 cheap rasasi as a wardrobe. Even would recommend to the budget mindful person with rational expectations. I would do this, Shuhrah, Dareej, mukhalet al aoud, and throw in a little more for hawas ice or fire, even black.

Have had my bottle for a little over a year and didn't give it a whole lot of wear but today I sprayed 6 sprays at 8 am , its now 10 till 8 and I can still smell a trail in my office when I come back after leaving. It is a office scent for sure. Smells mature, professional and kinda unique. For this kind of money its a solid pick up if in search of a dumb reach going to the job type scent. Never smelled Ultime so can't speak to similarity but will wear this more often now for sure after how well it performed today. I do not have anything in my collection that smells similar either so it get points for its unique profile as well. It's worth the 21 dollars it costs for sure but the name and bottle scream cheap cologne but does not smell cheap or perform bad at all.

It's essential is probably 75 percent Ultime in the drydown which comes across very elegant and high quality. However be prepared for the opening. It's super sour and definitely takes some getting used to. The good thing is the opening only lasts about 3 minutes so you won't have to deal with it for long. It's performance is moderate 5 to 6 hours longevity and lower mid range projection. Sillage is great tho I keep catching whiffs as I move about which I really like. Overall id give this a 7.5 out of 10 as it's not super close to Ultime and the opening is harsh, but the drydown is beautiful.

This stuff has really grown on me. Wasn't too impressed at first. It was hard to understand. Sour and metallic. However it was interesting so I kept trying to figure it out. Still sour and metallic opening but now I get the spiced ginger and a watery blue rose. The florals are hard to distinguish for me. Which I attribute to a good blend. Nothing stands out too much. Just a very pleasant addictive scent. I love the Rasasi house. I think they do florals really well and actually use traditional middle eastern distilled naturals.

Smells 95% identical to Ultime in the dry down and in the air, I'm testing both on skin right now. Its Essential's opening to me smells sharp and sour which had me worried at first, after a few minutes however it settles down to smelling 1 to 1 with Ultime. I had a few ppl smell both in the opening and they all said there's no difference between the two. This is also a compliment beast, idrc for compliments when buying colognes but this actually surprised me. Opening: 7/10 Drydown: 9/10 Performance: 9/10

I absolutely love Armaf Infinity, so I thought I would give this one a shot. It's great, but weak and disappears in 30 min. I'll let it mature for a while and try again. It is missing that strong Cedar that Armaf Infinity has and that's my favorite part. So I'm a little disappointed. It also has that saliva smell I've heard people mention and never understood, now I understand, it's not ruining it or anything, just feels lower quality.

Ultime is my signature scent for a while. This Rasasi Essentials is around 80% - 90% similar; a little soapier. The price is so good, around 20-30$ in Vietnam.

Honestly this reminds me a bit of Versace Eros

A soapy, cheap thing that opens up with a bright but synthetic citrus and sort of the same pear note you get in Ultra Male but not nearly as sweet or vanillic. A bit sharp and, as many noted, a bit of that soapy imagination DNA. Maybe more than a bit. A lot do people say it’s identical to Ultime but I find it more of a “yeah it sorta kinda reminds me of it, but lower quality plus that imagination soap.” Longevity is 6-8 hours with moderate projection for 30-45 minutes. A 6/10. Like so many ME clones, this is an approximation that comes off funky and a bit weird but gets you the vibe of Ultime at $25. Not something I’ll keep.

I swore I wouldn't buy any more fragrances where lavender was a main note. It's a must for masculinity, but it just doesn't work on my skin. That said, I assume this happens to all perfume enthusiasts: Black Friday with a sale on the less hyped Rasasi fragrances. I paid $10 (!) for this one. I've been wearing it for a couple of days now, and once the lavender fades, the dry down is clean, soapy and citrusy. I can smell the geranium, but not the cinnamon yet. In my experience, this blend promises to improve greatly in a few weeks. An extraordinary purchase for a versatile fragrance that can be worn every day, all year round.

My take: I have all the mentioned scents, and also several Ultime clones. You'll be disappointed if you thought you were getting Ultime on the cheap. This starts off very aquatic for me, but that subsides (never fully), giving way to the floral melange that, though not listed, reads as petitgrain with the lavender; so to me it settles into a blend of 60% PDM Percival, 40% Ultime (or more precicely, a more aquatic Azzaro Ginger Lover). Pleasant, quite strong for a semi-freshie, but not a 1 to 1 of anything I know of. My top clone of Ultime remains the YSL Ultime roll-on by Oil Perfumery.

It smelt pretty good for the price, and surprisingly not a beastmode fragrance. I still prefer getting a brand new backup of L’Homme Ultime instead of this. The person I sold my high partial of this to really enjoyed the scent, and fits his work setup of being in the healthcare industry

Armaf Infinity blows this out of the water

Well, since Ultime is my favorite fragrance I can't tell you the dissappointment. I don't enjoy giving negative reviews, but this involves my heart strings, I'll try not to be belligerent. The opening sucks, the dry down might kind of remind you of Ultime minus the magic. I have 5 bottles of actual Ultime in reserve, thank god. I've given it time to mature after oxygenating it and it still sucks. I bought this the day Linscents uploaded on youtube, received it the day Ashton unboxed it.. I paid $36 at TripleTraders, now it's available at frag buy Canada for $22, which I can say is about 4x more than you should pay. Save your money, seriously. I can't delude myself into this being acceptable and you shouldn't either. If you're looking for Ultime, the closest I found is Dua's Ultimate Rendezvous. It's quite potent, the opening is meh, but they nail the drydown, only a bit fuzzier like cashmere is in there. It will scratch your Ultime itch. I'm not a Dua fanboy or shill, so don't insult me with that. Scentual Obessions version sucks, it's actually worse, smells like it was cut with lhomme libre, absent of any rose or ginger. Miris No. 340777 is actually better than the Rasasi or S.O., but it's more of a body spray (if youre not scared of putting it on skin) or edc concentration. Usually, I strive to be more eloquent but I'll proofread this later. I just wanted to throw something up here before everybody ooh's and aah's over a clone of a discontinued gem. I have nothing against Rasasi, I own several others and love the rose in Al Wisam Day. Rose is my favorite note in perfumery, in "It's Essential" it's a generic pink flower. "It's Essential" is definitely a non-essential.

Big surprise. Cheap fragrance is cheap. Doesn't project or last at all. Skin scent after like 30 minutes.

I was putting off buying this because it seemed boring but man, this is a great scent. It's under 30, which is crazy because this could have been sold as a freshie by a more expensive brand. I bought it because its an Ultime clone and I really liked YSL L'Homme EDT. This doesn't have any actual rose but the fruitiness and florals make up for it. It starts off with a nice and clean fruitiness that is not overpowering but effervescent. The pear and orange combined with the geranium is a great combo. After the first hour the sweetness tapers out and dries down to a more soapy clean scent; I can very much smell the closeness to imagination that people have noted. Finally, after around 5-6 hours the scent smells like a light tobacco scent with the vanilla smoothening it out. This scent is mostly unisex. Doesn't project too much, but i prefer that since I like office scents for my dailies. If you are looking for something that screams look elsewhere, but if you want an approachable nice scent everyone will enjoy, this is a good blind buy. I will be buying this again when my bottle runs out.

the way this hits my nose is like a mix of LV Imagination and YSL MYSLF. it has a bit of that white florals with some heavy citrus in the opening. the drydown after about an hour REALLY smells like Imagination. I wasnt really expecting that since there's no tea note on this. that's just how it hits my nose. this is a GREAT freshie, it smells VERY high quality, but thats to be expected from Rasasi. I dont wear much of the clone houses i own but i think this one is going to fit perfectly in my rotation. might try layering this with my LV colognes as well and see if i can make some magic. i would 100% recommend this especially considering the price. this is definitely mass appealing i think everyone would love this. also has GREAT projection and longevity. i spray this on my arm and i continue to smell it over and over for hours.

So finally got my hands on this perfume. Bought through a friend in dubai and shipped to Denmark. When sprayed it smells like orange and lemon. Then smells like a floral scent mainly lavender. After 2 hours it turns into woody tobacco scent. I have to say sillage is a bit weak. But as it goes with middle eastern fragrance I will macerate it for a few months. Then check again.

This fragrance reminds me of a few fragrance, dominantly L'homme Ultime (60%), YSL Y EDT (20%) and Lv Imagination (20%). Yes, sounds kinda weird but, that just how I feel like lol. Nevertheless, this is very pleasant fresh fragrance (not really aquatic imo) with decent performance (6-7h).
