Secret

When I was 15 years old, I had my first birthday party and invited many people to it, that I considered my friends. Only 4 did show up, but they brought this perfume as a gift for me. As soon as the party was over, I was laying in a bed with my nose digging into my palms in heavenly bliss. It was a cold winter day, one of those gloomy times, when there's not much daylight and you even forget that nature was alive once. Secret struck me and had shaken me so much, it was like a bottled spring, with wind gently caressing blooming apple trees. It seemed like the most precious gift I have ever recieved. The bitter greens along with soft florals seemed so realistic, so refined, so elegant, and so different from anything I have smelled before in perfumes. I used my bottle very sparingly, saving it up and treasuring it. A decade later, when my obssession with perfume developed I knew I had to find it again. Perhaps to be transported back in time, or perhaps to be dissapointed with the magic shattered to pieces. With shaking hands I opened the box, and there it was - same beloved secret! I must admit that it does lack longevity for me and the synthetic woods are very prominent on my skin chemistry in this, but if you spray such scents on your clothes/hair instead of the skin, there's none of that 'pickled' synthetic wood vibe. (this can only be due to my skin chemistry, because synthetic cedarwood always acts like this on my wrists) I hope they never discontinue this. This is a dear dear gentle fairy song for me that will always have a special place in my heart.

I have owned this for a couple of years, Rasasi sent it to me to thank me for reviewing Rasasi Hope...What a lovely gesture. I havent worn it really and was going through my collection to see what can be gifted/sold etc, then I came across this and sprayed it.....OMG! WHY havent I worn this beauty? it's absolutley stunning. I reminds me of another beautiful perfume, but I can't think what it is, and it's one I don't own so win win. I will be wearing this more often. To me it will be the perfect autumn/winter scent, and as we are approaching those 2 seasons, I won't have long to wait and I am looking forward to wearing it. I smell very strongly the musk, rose and cedar....which thrills me as I love those notes. LOTV unfortunately I cannot detect but will keep trying to find it when I wear it again. Thankfully I don't detect the fruits too much, I am not keen of cirtus in perfumes but a little is OK. Violet leaf where are you? I was only testing and this weekend I will be trying it out for 2-3 days straight, so will have a better opinion, I just know I really like it, and I won't be gifting this any time soon.

Oh this is such a pretty fragrance, opens really fruity and slowly dries down to a lovely flowery, powdery and comforting scent. I thought I wasn’t a big fan of powdery scents but I actually really do not mind this at all, in fact it’s so comforting I think it makes for an amazing bed time scent - it feels like I’m getting protected and hugged 🥹 I wish the top fruity notes lasted longer though, they are my favorite! Has decent staying power as well, although the projection can be better imo (I like my perfumes STRONG :p) this is also a fragrance that performs better on skin than fabric! Honestly, the quality is amazing for the price, so I will really consider repurchasing once I’m done with my bottle and have cleared my hoard of perfumes xp

One of the best fresh florals out there thats such a great value and gives a lot of compliments from both women and men alike. Its perfect for rainy weather where you want to feel fresh and clean. It has a tea like vibe, which must be the camellia. the citrus comes first, followed by the florals and peach. the violet blossom gives it a powdery cozy feel. It settles down to a nice floral musk.

I feel like I am gonna get a lot of hate for saying this. I just got a bottle of Florabotanica & it reminds me of this perfume. Side by side, there’s a little bit of difference but on its own on someone pass by me, I don’t think I could tell the difference. This one lasts way more than Florabotanica too.

My girlfriend used to wear this back in the days when we used to meet ' secretly ':) I fell in love with her and her scent the first I smelled it. It really suited her. Now, 4 years later, its still my favorite female fragrance.

very seductive if you layer it correctly

I bought this perfume today , it cost me 35 riyals ( 10 US $ ) !!! But I like the scent more than some of the expensive perfumes I have . It's very fresh and feminine.

I have tested it in a perfume store, This fragrance is very similar to citrusy vibes exists in "coco mademoiselle" perfume, but not a dupe. I had smelled only citrusy fragrance mixed with white flowres and musk, the other ingrediants is very light and unnoticeable. not my types in perfumes, I prefer perfume like "Rose Goldea Bvlgari" if I want to interest of damask roses with citrusy woody and musk scent. This fragrance suitable to wear it during the day, in summer and spring seasons. It lasts 4 hours on leather and more time on clothes. لقد جربته في محل عطور، هذا العطر يشبه إلى حد كبير أجواء الروائح الحمضية الموجودة في عطر "كوكو مودموزيل"، لكنه ليس عطر مطابق. لقد شممت فقط رائحة الحمضيات الممزوجة بالزهور البيضاء والمسك، أما باقي المكونات فهي خفيفة جدًا وغير ملحوظة. ليس من نوعي المفضل في العطور، فأنا أفضل عطرًا مثل "روز غولديا من بولغاري" إذا كنت أريد الاستمتاع برائحة الورود الجورية مع الحمضيات والأخشاب والمسك. هذا العطر مناسب لارتدائه أثناء النهار، في فصلي الصيف والربيع. يدوم لمدة 4 ساعات على الجلد ووقت أطول على الملابس.

This fragrance is an utter disappointment. Upon the first spray, it immediately hits with a harsh, cheap alcohol blast — reminiscent of low-grade vodka — that lasts for about 20 seconds. After that, it dries down to an almost nonexistent scent, so faint and unremarkable that I genuinely struggle to identify any distinct notes, and I say this as someone well-versed in perfumery. The sillage and longevity are virtually non-existent. Frankly, this performs worse than a £2 body spray from Tesco. It's hard to believe this was released as an actual eau de parfum — it's a disgrace to the fragrance industry.

I have a similar story, I was 15 years old and I went to the new store in front of our house, in my mother town, I wanted to buy a gift for my mother as gift for mother's day. I smell it and the smell of that was the best sence that I have ever exprienced, I bought it for my mother but she doesn't like it, after that I ask her if she didn't like and wear the secret I like it, and after that secert became my own spacial perfume, whene I finished the first bottle, I was a university student and I try to find and buy it again but I couldn't, after years I became a master science stu and I found it magically in a store and it become my spacial smell for years again, my sister likes this perfume too and asked me to buy one for herself, I told her that there is no matter but when she wears secret, she told me that this smell is your smell and when I smell my clothes I remember u and gave the secret back to me,. when I became 26 a man came into my life, he told me that he likes the smell of my perfume very much and it has diffrences from the other women's perdume, he belived that people must have a perfume for cold seasons and one for warm seasons, I didn't tell him my idea that every body must have their special smell, during the dayes that I loved him very much, I bought a doll for him and spray the secret to that doll to have my smell wherever that I am not there, to recognize me by that smell, one day I saw that doll in his room in the corner above his bed and I really became happy, I thought that I found my real right love, Now we are far from each other and I dont know does he remember that smell, does he remembere me? I don't know that I love him now? One day we went to the store to buy a perfume for him but he insisted on to buy one for me too, I accepted but the seller was a young girl, I expected him to be more faithfull, he chose my perfume and I chose one for him. I used that perfume one time in a meeting with him, he did not undrestand the new smell and I was depressed that day because I was in my very difficult mother's disease, we hadn't a meeting for a long peroid becuase I couldn't leave my mother alone and I become so broken down with a great loos weight, and I didn't like to see me in that situation, a lot of days I wanted him from the deep of my heart to come and support me, but that afternoon he was not willing to see me, to hug me after a big disease of my mother, brain hemorage, Actually I didn't like the smell of the new perfume, It was more expencive than secret, more famouse than, made in paris, but I didn't‌‌‌ and don't like it after one month he leaved me alone But secret would be my own special smell untill I die, love it

Spritzed Mum and I this birthday gift with abandon this morning Straight up Mum says "Apple Blossom!" A perfume she knew long, long time before. Mum is 77. Have searched this database and perhaps Avon Apple Blossom is the culprit Secret is blossom/floral sweet, tangerine citrusy fresh and eminently wearable in this foul summer heat and humidity of Sydney. Great everyday wear, nothing foul on me, (scent devouring werewolf), or Mum whose body chemistry throws many scents to urinal cake or cat pee. Longevity is minimal, Mum got about an hour, a little longer on the werewolf but it could be all the hair.

The scent of this is just amazing! It smells sweet and kind of citrusy to my nose. Very fresh and pleasant. Definitely a crowd pleaser. I went to go see my cousin who just became a new mom and she was wearing this. So I kind of associate this scent with a motherly vibe lol. But don't get me wrong, it's not extremely mature smelling or anything, it is just the moment that leads me to associate the scent with a motherly vibe. Lovely lovely smell!!!

My mom brought this perfume to me from Oman as gift and as a gourmand girlie, I just don’t get this scent honestly. Smells like a Barbie perfume I had as a kid, very pre-teen girl perfume imo or slightly leaning towards grandma-ish vibes. Green tea opening and slightly musky floral dry down if you’re into it then get it.

Smells like tea. Very white tea/green tea scent. With grassy florals. Smells nice in hot weather. Wore this back in 2007 and it was everything soft and feminine back then. Bought a new batch couple years ago and the scent is the same. Has a very grassy bottom note. Still very unique scent.

This was my first perfume ever when I was a teenager. It was a gift and I always gagged at the smell. It smells terrible or maybe it's just my nose that can't stand it. Years later I got my hands on Tommy girl and it reminded me exactly of this.

Its perfect for someone who has just started wearing perfumes The notes come out perfectly . The fragrance is fresh, feminine and lasts forever. Definitely not a mature fragrance, its more suitable for young girls or to wear during day time.

Not bad, I used it in my teens. All I could get was grassy jasmine. It served well in hot and humid weather. I wouldn't repurchase ever. Nothing special.

I used to wear it years ago,it became discontinued but here it is,back again,I love it so much
