Last Of D’Agar

This is perhaps the most beautiful oud fragrance that has been created recently. Rasei proves again that his blending is superb. All the beautiful nuances of oud have been highlighted. Fruity, floral, pleasantly sweet without being overbearing. The different types of ouds work in perfect harmony and facets of different ouds are clearly apparent. Yes it is expensive, but the ingredients are top quality. Any oud lover will enjoy and find value in this wonderful fragrance. Soft projection and sillage with good longevity.

An incredible Oud fragrance like nothing you have ever smelled before. It smells like the perfect oud fragrance. As others have said, it’s somehow captures the best parts of oud, and strips away everything else. This is the type of stuff that legends are made of. Projection is soft for the first 2 hours, and almost non existent on hour number 3 and beyond. Within those first 2 hours people near you will definitely detect it on you.

The oud fragrance I have been searching for. Rasei has taken the finest ingredients (from many of the world's leading oud vendors) and blended them to perfection. All the finest facets of oud are on showcase and not blurred by supporting ingredients like rose. This would move into my number 1 spot for oud fragrances if only it projected more than it does. Also - one of the most elegant presentations.

This is gorgeous. Masterfully blended and highlighting the most beautiful aspects of oud from different regions, I have never smelled a better oud perfume. The comment referring to this as overhyped is ridiculous, there was literally zero hype for this, no marketing at all, just an IG post to announce its availability.

My bottle started to evaporate too so I took the sprayer out and sealed as tight as I could. Too afraid to open it again.

Clearly an actual fragrance rather than just an oud distillation; This isn't just oud imho even though the notes say just oud, it feels like there is something else added (an elegant ethereal feel so maybe ambergris in some form of alcohol mix) but maybe it's just all the different varities making that happen. Comes across overall like a slightly honeyed whisky at first, with peppery elements from the oud and a very mild funk that wafts in on and off, but there isn't too dominant an oud profile here I'd say of a particular variety (but clearly there is some hindi in it). It develops further over time to have different facets, I even get quite a fruity aspect at times which is interesting. The negative of this one is the projection, it is an elegant oud rather than punchy one in style but also in strength. You'll enjoy it for yourself smelling a bubble around you for a few hours, but it would be nice to have just a bit more push. A nice pickup for oud lovers I think, it's something different I'd say and has been skillfully handled. edit: I see some people have unfortunately had this evaporate on them. You are supposed to store this without the bulb sprayer intact. They really should have made this super clear when you opened the box (I think it is on the printed card inside though).

Decent woody gourmand scent focused on a central oud note (supposedly contains 85 varieties of it). The central oud (mostly non skanky Hindi variety) is surrounded by notes of dried fruit, whisky, fig, honey and candied orange. The unisex scent has intimate to moderate sillage and good longevity. Overall this is nice and pleasant but not hugely exceptional to be marketed as the most definitive last available oud scent treasure. It is packaged very nicely like most offerings from this brand (please keep the containers bottled tight) and is an interesting and overpriced novelty. Enjoy!

I was lucky enough to win a sample of this one. It’s a stunning fragrance, if you like oud. It opens on the masculine side, very boozy and, of course, oudy. A couple of hours in hints of tobacco, fruits, and light florals start to reveal themselves...this is were it becomes more unisex. A bit farther into the dry down some ambergris starts to show through. Though it’s beautiful, projection is an issue for me. Maybe I need to go heavier on application. By the time it becomes unisex, and I feel like it’s not overly masculine for my taste, it is starting to fade...a lot. I think it would be stunning paired with jasmine, or maybe a subtle vanilla.

Very great fragrance. Starts out very sweet almost tonka bean like and then settles to a bunch of mixed oud notes but not to skanky just a little bit. It’s not very long lasting but is extremely potent for the first 2 hours. This is otherworldly and a time capsule of ancient ingredients. One that will never be made again once it’s gone. If you can get a bottle jump on it as it’s not a everyday fragrance and will make that important event or time in your life much more special.

Today I accidentally stumbled upon the Last Of D'Agar in my wardrobe and I almost craied , the bottle was almost empty and I didn't use it even once. It just evaporated,, i was shocked. Pay attention to your bottle.

My bottle has completely evaporated. Has anyone else’s bottle done the same? $650 down the drain for me.
