Minty Oud Tea. This is an absolutely gorgeous fragrance! There is no wonder this is Raydan's bestseller and a fragrance that is making waves for the past 2-3 years in the Arabia, particularly Oman, the land of Amouage. It's a beautiful symphony where polar notes attract. Arabic, woody saffrony oud makes an opulent and rich smell in one hand. On the other hand, tantalizing fresh mint with melancholic herbal tea note. Woody, oudy, warm, minty, tea, Arabic. Such a rich scent! Had this been an Amouage release, it would've been even much more popular. I don't agree with the notes. Smell Royal Opera and tell me you don't smell mint. They might be keeping the formula a secret or it might be the patchouli, but that would be one weird patchouli note. I have not smelled something very close to this in the market and I have over 900 reviews on Fragrantica. However, the closest thing that smells like it would be Bvlgari Parfumee Au The Noir Intense but with a hefty oud and saffron dose. Cartier Oud & Menthe is doing something similar but I find Royal Opera superior quality and scent wise. Of note, the founder of the brand is someone who used to work in "Sultani (royal) Hospitality" branch for the late HM Sultan Qaboos of Oman. Sultani Hospitality people were in-charge of the fragrances and incenses used in the royal palace, which are top 1% in quality. The Sultan was passionate about perfumery, and he actually ordered the creation of "Amouage". Back to Royal Opera, it is leans masculine with its woodiness, and mature and formal, and better suited for the colder weather. "Love"!

I agree with AMajeedQT, I also smell the mint. This is basically Oud with saffron, mint, and green tea. It last a long time and projects strongly for four hours. It's a shareable fragrance and can be used all year round. Highley recommended.
