First and foremost, the L'Oreal era Kouros is but a shadow of its former self. As much as I love and adore the intoxicating scent/DNA, the longevity and performance the current version offers leaves a lot to be desired. If anyone tells you otherwise, they are either ill-informed or lying. Sadly, the "silver shoulder" years have long since passed and vintage bottles are hard to come by and extremely expensive. But don't worry, Imperia Legacy has got you covered! I must say, this stuff blows my 2024 Kouros out of the water. The longevity, the intensity, the projection - everything is superior. It projects for hours and clings to clothing. If I spray this on in the nighttime, I can smell it on my clothing the next morning. The scent even survives a washing cycle. Being an EDP, it has a high concentration of oils. The juice is a nice, golden amber colour. Very oily and thick. Since acquiring this, I have only worn my L'Oreal Kouros once - and that was just to see how shitty it is. If you want to experience King Kouros without the hefty price tag, look no further. Save yourself upwards of $500 and grab yourself a bottle (I have bought six!). If you look at the perfume pyramid, the notes are identical. Remember guys, you wear the scent, not the bottle. This stuff *is* vintage Kouros, just in a different bottle. This is becoming increasingly hard to find due to discontinuation. Rayhaan are now focusing on more modern/niche scents, rather than animalistic fragrances from a bygone era. If you can locate a bottle via grey market sellers, grab three. You won't regret it. UPDATE: I layer this with Al Rehab Lord concentrated perfume oil (which is a hybrid blend of Lapidus Pour Homme and Kouros) and I can smell it all day. The very definition of a powerhouse combo. Recently, my coworker could smell me at the 7 hour mark. I was sitting at my desk and he was *upstairs* and around a corner. I hadn't even gone up there. Definitely recommended!

I bought this a while ago. And honestly, it is not so bad (at least for me) and please for the love of everything living on earth, DO NOT SPRAY AND GO! spray this 2-3 hours before going out. the opening is very VERY! strong, can fill your entire room (hell even your entire house or kitchen) and the smell is hard to appreciate. this perfume is a type of perfume where you need a certain level of enthusiasm for you to like this. but either way, the dry down is very great. though the problem is, do not reapply on a small room with full of people, not even a school hallway or even anywhere. reapply this outside because this is strong asf. though not a fan of the opening but I can guarantee you the dry down is pretty good. and don't forget to rest this 2-3 days after test spray. it lessened the strongness for me and this is finally good to smell but overall, still a great perfume, nonetheless. pricewise, it is a 9/10 pretty cheap for only 15 dollars (in my country). not a good blind buy but this is a 8/10 perfume for me

They said this smells like vintage kouros.. They were right. 87-92% shared similarities with my Gucci era bottle. Animalic, musky, honey, aromatic, leather, floral..it’s all here and dosed the way it should be. This is what a men’s release should embody. Enough sweet gourmand oestrogen slop already - get a grip! (What kind of grown ass man wants to smell like a cake!?) Rant over. Anyway, performance is indeed as strong as advertised. This may just be the closest you can get to the real deal gentleman. Definitely my best purchase in a while. Shoutout to cryofry for putting me onto this. Top man. Edit: upon wearing this more this is definitely even dirtier than my 1990s kouros bottle. Perhaps this clones the deep vintages? Furthermore this stuff was filling a room 8hr into wearing..nuts. Alongside Milton Lloyd’s ‘The Man Sliver’ this stuff stands as the greatest Kouros clone bar NONE.

All around a great fragrance and very strong! Lasts on my skin for 12 hrs plus...it doesn’t really remind me of any clone but I get wiffs of Zino By Davidoff, Beau de Jour Tom Ford, then blended with some other scents... I thought it would be an Aventus clone but it’s not. Imperia by Rayhaan is a 90% clone to Creed Aventus imo... this takes a darker route and I love it! This is for a mature man 35+ not for youth. This is for the hard worker, business man someone who has big dreams and ambitions

#1413 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I actually blind bought this months ago when it wasn't listed so I couldn't review it at the time. It's a straight up EDP potency dupe of original YSL "Kouros." This has the original soapy green muskiness and the animalic undertone of the civet. All the old school qualities I remember from when Kouros was first introduced, in '81. I wasn't a huge fan of all the florals at the time, which I found kind of suffocating, but a woman I was with then liked it, so I wore it. The next girlfriend didn't, said it was something her dad would wear, so I threw it out. I didn't know this was a Kouros dupe when I bought all fourteen Rayhaans on the market at the time or I probably would have skipped over this. But turns out I actually don't mind it. Tastes change. Carpool, elevator, small offices safe. Skin scent pretty much lingers all day. Projects from morning shower till lunch. Fairly price. I have more Rayhaans on my list as I've been happy with everyone I've purchased. Good Luck and Good Hunting!

This is old school fragrance done right. If you yearn for the days of the 70s and 80s this one is for you. I never smelled vintage Kourous but the new batches are nowhere as strong as this. This is pure funk and animalic. But if you’re patiently waiting the dry down is very nice. But you got to be into the old school hair on your chest masculine fragrances. This performed very well. But I just can’t see myself wearing this to much. So 3/5

One spray and I ended up smelling like a barbershop. Powdery, soapy, and leathery. Yes, longevity (24 hrs even) and sillage is very great, but the smell is absolutely not. Even just opening the bottle will fill your entire room with this fragrance... and trust me, this potent smell will stay in the air for hours. Opening the bottle will have this perfume punch you right on your guts and your nose. You have to be very careful when wearing this because you will very likely offend some people with this. If you don't care about other people, then go for this. This is the boldest a perfume can get. Seemingly discontinued with nothing in stock online. If anybody knows where to find this, I'd be interested in trying it.

If you cannot find this, look for Sak Pase by Rich Ruitz. I have all these Kouros dupes and Sak Pase is fire.
