Jungle Vibe

I have never smelled Santal Greenery, but I bought this because of my boy Mcnasty who I just found out is on fragrantica, and bro has yet to fail me as far as blind buys goes. Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of herbal green like fragrances like paradise garden and my all-time favorite Birds of Paradise by Carolina Herrara. Jungle Vibes is in that family of fresh herbal scents, but if paradise garden and birds of paradise are siblings then this a cousin of the 2. The opening of Jungle Vibes starts off with a lot of grapefruit; it almost smells like generic Febreze for the first 6-10 minutes. After that you are hit with a beautiful fig and herbaceous accord that is not green like grass, but it smells like a rainforest that just got hit with a bunch of rain but then the sun came out so you're just smelling all that lush green fresh vegetation. After an hour the sweetness from the fig come through and it's not nearly as sweet as the fig in paradise garden (which I think is because PG has coconut) but still noticeable and adds a nice contrast to the greenness in the opening. The sandalwood is definitely present throughout the whole duration of the scent, but it starts out as a whisper and towards the dry down it becomes very pronounced and gives off that true unisex appeal. While this is nowhere near santal 33, I'll say that the sandalwood in Jungle Vibe reminds me of Santal a little bit. Thankfully that "pickle" like smell that you get from some scents that have sandalwood is not anywhere to be found in this. Finally, the longevity, projection, and price of Jungle Vibes are all great. It lasts a good 6-8 hours on skin and 12 hours or more on clothes. It also does project decently well for the first 6 hours than it slowly starts dying down to a skin scent. After spraying this on in the morning (5 sprays) I was still getting whiffs of this at work in the evening on my sweatshirt. Price wise I would say that this is pretty decent especially for how high quality it smells, at least for a broke ass college student like myself. I'm excited to see how the smell changes over time but right out the box this absolute heat. If you're a fan of paradise garden (Jungle Vibes is less sweet but greener) or herbal/green fresh fragrances than I would absolutely blind buy it. SCENT: 9/10 LONGEVITY/PROJECTION: 7.5/10 (wish it projected a touch more) PRICE: 7/10 (I can see this dropping below 40 for sure as time goes on)

EDIT after a month or two of owning Love this. It is fresh clean green with good staying power. Price is right too. I've added a good few scents to my collection lately and I keep reaching for this. This is infinitely wearable. I have Obsidian and Aquatica also. All very nice. This is the most versatile of them. Rest of review is initial thoughts Got this in two weeks ago. Initially I gave it a good few sprays and wore it about 3 hours and was not that impressed. This is very hyped on youtube. I bought the hype. It smells like synthetic Aloevera. I gave it a few weeks and gave it another few wears after it maturates. €22 when I bought it so thought why not. First two dupes I've bought. This and Vintage Radio. I will give a better opinion after a few full wears. Initially was not that keen on this. Worn a couple of times now and I get a bit of JPG LE Beau Paradise Garden (without the coconut, and Jungle vibes is less sweet and fresher) or H24 EDP (In terms of Green)from it, but it lasts a long time too. Think Dior Sauvage EDP but not blue, Green (and no ambroxan). You have to be into Green fragrances to like this and I am not sure they are my jam. Still I will give it the benefit of the doubt and let is masticate for a few weeks and see if it gives any better results. For me only okay for the moment. Top notes list Grapefruit and Bergamot but I am not getting them at all so maybe it needs to sit in my cupboard for a while. (Edit after a few weeks). Opening blast of alcohol remains and the citrus top notes never really show their face at all, but once it settles down it is a completely unisex fresh and clean shower gel type green scent. It is an office safe clean smelling fragrance, and at the price point it is not bad. It is not a love from me and I am a bit "Dupious" about clones in general but I picked this up for nothing and I think i'll probably get through the bottle over time. Can be worn year round but would shine more in spring summer. Opening is rough though even after three weeks of sitting in a cupboard. After a month the opening has settled a bit. I like this fragrance. It’s not love at first sniff, but it’s fresh clean green, that has grown on me. The opening harshness died down with maturation and I will definitely get through this more in warmer spring and summer

¡Qué hermosa y relajante fragancia! Casi terapéutica. Este caldito me brinda la sensación de caminar a la orilla de una cascada, donde el rocío baña las hojas de las higueras que te protegen con su sombra. La estrella es la hoja de higo con sus notas verdes y ozónicas, que junto con el acorde de notas acuáticas le dan tema al perfume. El higo acompaña sutil desde la salida hasta la madurez de la experiencia olfativa, carnoso y verde, a penas dulce y refrescante. El sándalo aparece ya en el secado profundo sin dominar y sin dar sensaciones secas o picosas. Los cítricos de la salida son discretos y nada punzantes. Este consomé es refrescante, sofisticado, relajante y sutil. Dura sus buenas 6-7 horitas en piel (siendo generosos con el gatillo), aunque su punto flaco es la proyección, siendo ésta moderada la primera hora y a partir de ahí se vuelve una burbuja personal, casi a raz de piel. Es de entenderse, el objetivo de este caldo no es llamar la atención, más bien pretende que el usuario se sienta fresco y relajado, lo cuál es una bendición en meses de calor. En lo personal, lo busco seguido para ir al gym y cualquier actividad diurna al aire libre, y a veces, cuando hace calor en las noches y amerita prender el ventilador, un par de gatillazos de este caldito me relajan y refrescan la noche. Lo veo perfecto para oficina/escuela y va bien con ajuares deportivos, casuales e incluso formales. Jungle vibe es una fragancia redonda y bien balanceada, perfecta para quien busque algo fresco, sutil, verde, elegante y con un efecto calmante.

I too, was influenced on this one. I usually don't buy into all the tiktok hyped fragrances, but perfumesiren sold this one really well. It did NOT disappoint. One of my best blind buys as far as middle eastern fragrances go. Right up there with musamam white intense (which is literally one of my favorite fragrances EVER to exist.) It's the perfect blend of fig, citrus + sandalwood. Like that's exactly what I am smelling from this. Some of my favorite notes in perfumery, all wrapped in one. And it is sooooo good. If I didn't know any better, I would think this costs way more than it does. Never smelled the original but I'm dying to after buying this. I've bought a ton of middle easterns over the last few years and many of them have been meh, hence why I sold most of them and just started sticking with designer/niche, but a select few have earned a place in my collection and this is definitely one of them. When I saw the notes and the raving reviews, I had to buy it and I'm so glad I did. 10000000/10. Ps sorry for the long review, I hate such long reviews but I hope you're still reading. I must add, this is definitely unisex. If I had to pick one way or the other, I'd say this actually leans feminine to my nose, but my husband likes this as well. As others have said, maceration is not a necessity with this one + longevity/projection are incredible at 6+ hrs. Ok that's all. xo
