Ocean Rush

Rayhaan Ocean Rush is one of those fragrances that just works—especially when you want something fresh, clean, and effortless. Right from the start, it gives off a sweet, aquatic, slightly aromatic vibe that feels very “blue” and refreshing. It’s the kind of scent you can wear to the gym or casually during the day, especially in hot weather. It’s smooth, pleasant, and easy to like. Performance is pretty solid for a fresh fragrance. I get around 5–6 hours of longevity. With about 5–6 sprays, the projection is moderate—it creates a nice scent bubble where people close to you can notice it. If you want stronger projection, you can easily overspray, and it still doesn’t become overwhelming or suffocating. What really surprised me is the quality for the price. At around $20 (even less where I live, about $17), it smells way more expensive than it is. It doesn’t have that cheap or harsh vibe that some budget fragrances have—it actually feels quite well put together. Overall, this is a great everyday freshie—versatile, affordable, and easy to recommend. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly aquatic scent, this is definitely worth trying.

It's fantastic. I've made no secret that I think the D&G Light Blue Eau de Intense Pour Femme is better than Pour Homme, so while I got a bottle of the femme I opted to instead get blended inspirations elsewhere overlapping on the pour homme dna. This is one of them, which comes off as a blend of the pour homme eau de intense and Chanel Allure Homme Sport. Bright citrus open with cascalone and aquozone making up the aquatic accord in the heart, drying down over a considerable period of time for this kind of fragrance, resulting in light aromatic woody musky scent. Matured bottles supposedly get 8-12 hours, which would be very impressive.

What can I say, I bought this as an add on to an order to make it free shipping and wasn't expecting much. To my surprise, this one turned out to be one of the winners of the batch that I picked up. Sweet, powdery, aquatic, similar to some that you might find in an invictus. For the 20 that I paid, the juice is actually pretty good. The presentation of the bottle is very cheap but I rather they cheap out on the presentation rather than the juice. Winner for me, even though this isnt the type of scent profile I go for.

Y’all’s noses must be broken bc this doesn’t smells like anything in the “reminds me of” I still can’t think of anything that smells like this but I will say every single time I wear this, I get a compliment. Wore it to the bar, 3 girls and 2 guys said I smelled good/yummy. It really does smell really good and it last throughout the day. I would say it can be unisex. It’s a sweet citrus fragrance. Def worth the buy and to have in collection.

Resembles Allure Homme Sport and Versace Pour Homme. These 2 have been around for a while and for a good reason. This is your overall, fresh and clean, everyday, easy to wear, spray and go, summer in a bottle type fragrance. Very blind buy safe. Compared to Versace pour homme, this lasts longer. Compared to Allure homme sport, for this price it's a no brainer.

The atomiser is very mid quality. The scent is amazing lasts on the skin 6 hours roughly. The hotter the weather the better this fragrance smells and performs. Solid choice for summer especially for its price. 8.5/10

90% Versace Pour Homme. Smells great and very versatile. 4-5 hours and more than 10 on clothes. Bad reviewed must be fake products or just do not like the VPH scent profile

#1423 in my "Tour de fragrance" This is mostly for the new guys. The veterans of this site know all this. My first scent in this category was probably a Nautica in the early nineties. Since then hundreds and hundreds have been put out there. I bought most of the ones everyone knows. Versace "Pour Homme", D&G "Light Blue", ADG, Missoni, Invictus, Chanel, the list is almost endless. I got bored with it and gave at least a hundred away. You can spend $25 on one of these or $250. It won't make much difference as the citrus character of these scents that gets our attention fades out. The molecular behavior of top notes can't really be altered. Lemon, Bergamot, Yuzu, Mandarin, Grapefruit, typically not gonna last the morning unless you spray your clothes. What counts are the mids and bottom and how long they last. They differentiate on the woods and spices, and the ones which have no woods and spices don't make it to lunch. The notes that I look to in choosing these more marine-aquatic scents: juniper, juniper berries, cypress, rosemary, patchouli, incense, oakmoss, but especially sandalwood, guaiac, cedar and amberwood. This particular scent could benefit from more woodniess, though the strong cypress note almost makes up for it. BUT this is why this is not a dupe of Chanel Allure Homme Sport as some people are saying, and why, though this is likeable, I would not choose it over many other blues out there. It's why I gave away Versace "Man Fraiche", Ferragamo "Acqua Essenziale", ADG "Profondo", D&G "Light Blue", Missoni "Wave", and why Allure Homme Sport and a bunch of Invictus flankers with more woods are still in my collection. It's also why I would say if you want a Chanel Allure Homme Sport clone, Maison Alhambra "Alpine Homme Sport", while not great at all, is closer. For this style of scent my personal favorite is Carner Barcelona "D600" as I like an Iris note. There were rumors of it being discontinued, but I still see it out there everywhere. You can find it for as little as $75, which is certainly more expensive than this Rayhaan, but beats the price of a bottle of the Chanel by a lot. But this is not a bad scent at all. If you spray clothing it holds up, and there isn't enough oil in this to stain your clothes. It's not a bad blind buy at this price. But you can get Armaf "Ventana Marine" or Maison Alhambra "Alpine Homme Sport" for the same money, and they hold up a little better.

This my friends is a dupe of chanel allure sport:)! I went to sephora and tried it and luckily I had a decant of ocean rush and it smells very similar in the drydown. You're welcome ppl :) Idk if its just me but I get alot of sweetness maybe from lavender? Its fresh yet slighty sweet. Edit: since idk what aquazone smells like, Im going off tht sweetness comes from the blend of calone, lavander and amber I def do get some aquatic vibe so maybe thts the aquazone note? But still those 3 notes blended overpower the scent for me Update; it def smells aquatic and it also reminds me of adg profondo! Its like a mix of both!

This is one of my go to freshie scent. It is nothing special but it smells great. I am also getting D&G light blue vibes. Performance and projection are slightly above average on my skin. Well worth the $22CAD I paid (7.5/10)

Maybe tht mandarin gives it sweetness?? Idkk it doesn't smell citrus at all to me! But definitely go and smell chanel allure sport if ya havent and tell me im wrong😂😂💯

it smells good, but it doesn't last that long i think max 2-3 hours for me on skin. I paid $4 for it so i can't complain.

A budget beginner friendly scent, especially if you live in a tropical climate area

Fresh, light mens Cologne. I like it.

This is good. I like to randomly spam it throughout the day, but it’s a very safe fragrance. Very linear, with low longevity in general. You can’t buy this and expect a full cologne experience. Think of it more as a room-spray-type scent, except masculine. I like the lavender and citrus combination. It gives it an ozonic feel, almost like smelling the air next to a garden. It’s nice, but you can’t really expect it to be a serious cologne. It works better as a room spray, body spray, or even a car spray. Very nice, though. 6.5/10

Very weak citrus opening that quickly transitions into a cypress and rosemary dominant mid that lingers for a few hours. Kinda heavier than I thought it would be for a fresh type fragrance. Not offensive but not inspiring either. Feels like another dime a dozen cypress based fragrances I could find in a generic for men's cologne bottle at the store.

Doesn’t smell bad, nothing really stands out in terms of notes. Just smells sweet to me. Very faint. I’ll probably never wear this except to bed. Update: after letting it sit for a month. It’s improved. Smells like the ocean, very clean, and projects well. I bought this back in February. Perfect beginner fragrance at a very affordable price.
