Very green and very jasmine. Dry down is much sweeter and nicer IMO

Very photorealistic soapy white & yellow florals. Very quality strong vintagy vibe perfume. Unfortunately the things that make it amazing is why i could not keep it. It was way too floral & strong for me. I am sensitive to white heady florals and I cant really do strong gardenia, jasmine and tuberose together. However if you want to smell like an 90s icon, this may be your perfume.

A slightly soapy spicy fresh, 1980 - early 90s style of powdery sweet yellow floral. Gives me budget family shotgun wedding at the beach vibes. Like Giorgio Beverly Hills (very close dupe) or Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers which were popular cheapies then. Gardenia, Tuberose and Ylang Ylang are the most noticeable for me first. As it develops I get mint toothpaste, and spicy powdery Carnation floral soap on the drydown. I don't sense any Violet Leaf, Neroli, Basil, Vanilla or Sandalwood at all. Lasts 2 - 3 hours on me. In the late 80s - early 90s I remember this kind of sickly sweet yellow floral wafting from groups of loud, drunk, swearing young women in leather jackets and mini skirts trying to attract male attention. Giorgio Beverly Hills reputation in particular was considered bold, coarse, promiscuous and uneducated. Well loved by a particular crowd of women and their Moms, the same way men and their sons stick to a single brand of beer.

It's a sugary sweet flower, way too sickly for my taste.

MISLEADING-NOT NATURAL. I was excited to support a natural perfume brand and ordered the discovery set. They generally smell like what you'd expect from any commercial perfume brand and they're not bad. However, all the marketing gear the consumer up for some absolutely gorgeous natural botanical fragrances, and what a serious let down it was when I could smell copious amounts of synthetic materials. I'm not against synthetics (if biodegradable ones), these fragrances are just not like the way the marketing suggests! The ingredient lists all the botanical names of plants supposedly in the fragrance, which would make you think the whole thing is natural. Unfortunately this is simply NOT TRUE. Most consumers just wouldn't have any idea what a genuinely natural perfume smells like and can only go by the marketing/ ingredient list from the brand. Unfortunately for the trained nose, it is quite obvious that these are not natural fragrances, they may have some naturals in there but the majority of these formulas are made up by a back bone structure of synthetics. The fragrance price of these also does not reflect a genuine natural fragrance, the price of such precious naturals is astronomical! Furthermore, some of the naturals stated in the other fragrances, such as gardenia are actually impossible to obtain at a commercial level. Genuine vanilla is an incredibly expensive material to work with in natural perfumery and is almost always substituted with vanillin which can be natural so I would suspect this has been used and not Tahitian vanilla tincture or absolute- that's only a guess but highly likely. My pet-hate is lack of transparency, why mislead customers by listing only the botanical names in the ingredient list. Where it says blend of 'nature-identicals' this is a whole heap of synthetics! Honesty is my policy and it's obvious that this brand does not match that same ethos. This brand ruins it for truly natural brands out there trying to do good things.

I am working my way through the Recreation Discovery set. I don't like white and yellow florals in general because they're very 'clean' and 'plant-like' and they don't have anything warm or dirty to mix in with my body smells (skin and sweat), I feel like the smells sort of just sit on top of my skin and don't make me seem any warmer or sexier or more human. So saying, it's a nice floral. I love tuberose, so I tolerated the jasmine opening for 2 hours until I got to the tuberose. It's a lovely, heady jasmine. This is perfume for gen x or millenials and you can't change my mind. No chypre for boomers/ older gen x. No gourmand for gen z/ gen alpha. This is for a lady aged 30-50. It's a skin scent in that it doesn't waft behind in a cloud. So far, it's been on my skin and within a 30 cm radius of my wrists and body for 4 hours and it's going strong. It does have vanilla in the drydown so I suppose that's a little nod to gourmand. It's honestly a lovely floral, but floral isn't for me, and neither are natural perfumes. I love a good old synthetic to warm/ skank up a perfume, and make the dry-down last forever.

This blooms in a pretty way. For me I smell the fresh, green, ozonic notes first, then the assertive jasmine and gardenia speak up. I often have problems with amber making me ill, but not in this. Sometimes fragrances with gardenia are too much, but here it is used with a light hand.
